This study addresses the formation of anisotropic compact star models in the background of f(T,T)gravity(where T and T represent the torsion and trace of the energy momentum tensor,respectively).f(T,T)gravity is an extension of the f(T)theory,and it allows a general non-minimal coupling between T and *** this setup,we apply Krori and Barua's solution to the static spacetime with the components ξ=Br^(2)+c and ψ=Ar^(2).To develop viable solutions,we select a well-known model f(T,T)=αT^(m)+βT+Ф(where α and β are coupling parameters,and Ф indicates the cosmological constant).We adopt the conventional matching of interior and exterior space time to evaluate the unknowns,which are employed in the stellar *** present a comprehensive discussion on the stellar properties to elaborate the anisotropic nature of compact stars corresponding to well-known models:PsRJ1416-2230,4U1608-52,CenX-3,EXO1785-248,and *** physical analysis,it is observed that the solution of compact spheres satisfy the acceptability criteria,and its models behave optimally and depict stability and consistency,in accordance with f(T,T)gravity.

The humidity sensing properties of the thin films of an organic semiconductor material orange dye （OD） and its composite with CNTs deposited at high gravity conditions have been reported. Impedance, phase angle, ca- pacitance and dissipation of the samples were measured at 1 kHz and room temperature conditions. The impedance decreases and capacitance increases with an increase in the humidity level. It was found that the sensitivity of the OD-based thin film samples deposited at high gravity condition is higher than the samples deposited at low gravity condition. The impedances and capacitance sensitivities of the of the samples deposited under high gravity condition are 6.1 times and 1.6 times higher than the films deposited under low gravity condition.

Graphene is an attractive material for all-optical modulation because of its ultrafast optical response and broad spectral ***,all-optical graphene modulators reported so far require high pump fluence due to the ultrashort photo-carrier lifetime and limited absorption in *** present modulator designs based on graphene-metal hybrid plasmonic metasurfaces with highly enhanced light-graphene interaction in the nanoscale hot spots at pump and probe(signal)*** on this design concept,we have demonstrated high-speed all-optical modulators at near and mid-infrared wavelengths(1.56μm and above 6μm)with significantly reduced pump fluence(1–2 orders of magnitude)and enhanced optical *** near-infrared pump-probe measurement results suggest that the modulators’response times are ultimately determined by graphene’s ultrafast photocarrier relaxation times on the picosecond *** proposed designs hold the promise to address the challenges in the realization of ultrafast all-optical modulators for mid-and far-infrared wavelengths.

statistical distributions play a prominent role in applied sciences,particularly in biomedical *** medical data sets are generally skewed to the right,and skewed distributions can be used quite effectively to model such kind of data *** the present study,therefore,we propose a new family of distributions suitable for modeling right-skewed medical data *** proposed family may be called a new generalized-X family.A special sub-model of the proposed family called a new generalized-Weibull distribution is discussed in *** maximum likelihood estimators of the model parameters are obtained.A brief Monte Carlo simulation study is conducted to evaluate the performance of these ***,the proposed model is applied to the remission times of the stomach cancer patient’s *** comparison of the goodness of fit results of the proposed model is made with the other competing models such as Weibull,Kumaraswamy Weibull,and exponentiated Weibull *** analytical measures such as Akaike information criterion,Bayesian information criterion,Anderson Darling statistic,and Kolmogorov-smirnov test statistic are considered to show which distribution provides the best fit to *** on these measures,it is showed that the proposed distribution is a reasonable candidate for modeling data in medical sciences and other related fields.

In this paper, a multi-compartment 0D model of the blood flow is considered to study the vessel abnormalities (stenoses and aneurysms) in the human systemic circulation (sC). In the complete sC, different levels of stenosis and aneurysms are artificially created by decreasing and increasing the vessel diameters respectively and their effects on pressure and flow are studied using sensitivity analysis (sA). Normalized local sensitivity analysis (LsA) is used to study the impact of stenosis and aneurysms on pressure and flow wave pattern. Furthermore, global sensitivity analysis (GsA), sobol's method is used to quantify the overall influence of stenoses and aneurysms in the complete sC. The results of global sensitivity analysis revealed that the impact of both stenoses and aneurysms is strong within the individual structures (arm. legs, carotid bifurcation, aorta), while, aortic stenoses and aneurysms have effect on almost all downstream nodes. Moreover, the study could be useful for medical doctors, teachers and students to observe the hemodynamical changes in the sC with respect to vessel abnormalities, which could further help in making any clinical decision for patients having different levels of vessel abnormalities in any part or structure of the sC.

This research focuses on design and calculations for the horizontal axis wind turbine to fulfill energy demands at small scales in Pakistan. This is the design to produce about 5 kilowatts of electricity to share the load of average home appliances. Area chosen for this research is Pasni, Balochistan in Pakistan to build the wind turbine for electricity. Design values are approximated by appropriate formulas of wind energy design. In current research, turbine blade profile is designed by blade element momentum(BEM) theory. Warlock wind turbine calculator is used to verify the design parameters like wind speed, tip speed ratio(TsR) and efficiency *** of wind speed, wind power, TsR, pitch angle, blade tip angle, number of blades, blade design and tower height on power coefficient are analyzed in this research. Maximum power coefficient is achieved at a designed velocity of 6 m/s. Design analysis is also performed on simulation software ANsYs Fluent. It is observed that designed velocity parameter of this research is very suitable for the turbine blade, so blade designing is perfect according to wind speed range.

Core-shell particles of C-doped Cds and graphene: A noble metal-free approach for efficient photocatalytic H_(2) generation

To achieve efficient photocatalytic H_(2) generation from water using earth-abundant and cost-effective materials,a simple synthesis method for carbon-doped Cds particles wrapped with graphene(C-doped Cds@G)is *** doping effect and the application of graphene as cocatalyst for Cds is studied for photocatalytic H_(2) *** most active sample consists of Cds and graphene(Cds-0.15G)exhibits promising photocatalytic activity,producing 3.12 mmol g^-(1) h^-(1) of H_(2) under simulated solar light which is^4.6 times superior than pure Cds nanoparticles giving an apparent quantum efficiency(AQY)of 11.7%.The enhanced photocatalytic activity for H_(2) generation is associated to the narrowing of the bandgap,enhanced light absorption,fast interfacial charge transfer,and higher carrier density(N_(D))in C-doped Cds@G *** is achieved by C doping in Cds nanoparticles and the formation of a graphene shell over the C-doped Cds *** stability test,the spent catalysts sample was also characterized to investigate the nanostructure.

Purpose-Optimum utilization of investments has always been considered one of the most crucial aspects of capital *** into various securities is the subject of portfolio optimization intent to maximize return at minimum *** this series,a population-based evolutionary approach,stochastic fractal search(sFs),is derived from the natural growth *** study aims to develop portfolio selection model using sFs approach to construct an efficient portfolio by optimizing the sharpe ratio with risk budgeting ***/methodology/approach-This paper proposes a constrained portfolio optimization model using the sFs approach with risk-budgeting *** is an evolutionary method inspired by the natural growth process which has been modeled using the fractal *** analysis has been conducted to determine the effectiveness of the proposed model by making comparisons with state-of-the-art from domain such as genetic algorithm,particle swarm optimization,simulated annealing and differential *** real datasets of the Indian stock exchanges and datasets of global stock exchanges such as Nikkei 225,DAX 100,FTsE 100,Hang seng31 and s&P 100 have been taken in the ***-The study confirms the better performance of the sFs model among its ***,statistical analysis has been done using sPss 20 to confirm the hypothesis developed in the experimental ***/value-In the recent past,researchers have already proposed a significant number of models to solve portfolio selection problems using the meta-heuristic ***,this is the first attempt to apply the sFs optimization approach to the problem.
