Mesenchymal stem cells(MsCs)are multipotent adult stem cells of mesodermal origin that can be isolated from various tissues,including bone marrow,tooth pulp,adipose tissue,and umbilical *** have gained significant attention in regenerative medicine due to their ability to modulate the immune system and favor tissue *** enrich the medium in which they are cultivated with a broad range of bioactive molecules,including growth factors,cytokines,chemokines,enzymes,nucleic acids,and extracellular vesicles that collectively compose the MsC *** increasing number of pre-clinical studies suggest that delivering in vivo an MsC-conditioned medium(i.e.,the medium collected from MsC cultures after at least 3 days of exposure)exerts neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory effects in a variety of neurological conditions.

the integration of endoscopy has significantly propelled the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, with colonoscopy establishing itself as the primary method for early diagnosis and preventive care in colorectal cancer(CRC). Although deep learning holds promise in mitigating missed polyp rates, modern endoscopy examinations pose additional challenges, such as image blurring and atomizing. this study explores lightweight yet powerful attention mechanisms, introducing the spatial-channel transformer(sCt), an innovative approach that leverages spatial channel relationships for attention weight calculation. the method utilizes rotation operations for inter-dimensional dependencies, followed by residual transformation, encoding inter-channel and spatial information with minimal computational overhead. Extensive experiments on the CVC-Clinic DB polyp detection dataset, addressing endoscopy pitfalls, underscore the superiority of our sCt over other state-of-the-art methods. the proposed model maintains high performance, even in challenging scenarios.

this paper investigates the free vibration and transient response of interconnected structures including double curved beams and intermediate straight beams,which are all constructed from functionally graded porous(FGP) materials. the strain potential and kinetic energies of each beam along with the work done by the external force are calculated. Additionally, a higher-order beam element is introduced to derive stiffness and mass matrices, along with the force vector. the curved and straight beams are discretized, and their assembled stiffness, mass matrices, and force vectors, are *** conditions at the joints are used to derive the total matrices of the entire structure. subsequently, the natural frequencies and transient response of the system are determined. the accuracy of the mathematical model and the self-developed computer program is validated through the comparison of the obtained results with those of the existing literature and commercial software ANsYs, demonstrating excellent ***, a comprehensive study is conducted to investigate the effects of various parameters on the free vibration and transient response of the considered structure.

the current article discusses the heat transfer characteristics of ferromagnetic liquid over an elastic surface with the thermal radiation and non-Fourier heat *** most of the existing studies,the heat flux is considered as constant,but whereas we incorporated the non-Fourier flux to get the exact performance of the ***,we excluded the PWt and PHF cases to control the boundary layer of the *** governing equations related to our contemplate are changed into non-linear ordinary differential equations(ODE’s)by utilizing appropriate similarity changes,which are at the point enlightened by Runge–Kutta based shooting *** equations are broken down concerning boundary conditions and to be explained prescribed wall temperature(PWt)and prescribed heat flux(PHF)*** impacts of diverse non-dimensional physical parameters on velocity and temperature profiles are laid out ***,the assortment of skin friction and local Nusselt number for both PWt and PHF cases for various assessments of non-dimensional parameters have been sorted *** the wrap-up of the examination,we suspect that the friction factor coefficient is higher in the PWt case compared to the PHF *** result helps to conclude that the flux conditions are useful for cooling applications.

supernumerary robotic arms(superLimb) are a new type of wearable robot that works closely with humans as a third hand to augment human operation capability. Accurate conveyance of wearers' intentions, allocation of roles, and humancentered interaction considerations are the key points in the process of human–superLimb collaboration. this paper proposes a human-centered intention-guided leader–follower controller that relies on the dynamic modeling of superLimb with application to load-carrying scenarios. the proposed leader–follower controller takes the human as the leader and the superLimb as the follower, achieving effective information communication, autonomous coordination, and good force compliance between superLimb, humans, and the environment under human safety assurance. First, the human–superLimb dynamic system is modeled to achieve force interaction with the environment and wearer. second, to achieve the precise intention extraction of humans, pose data from five visual odometry sensors are fused to capture the human state, the generalized position, the velocity of hands, and the surface electromyography signals from two myoelectric bracelets sensors are processed to recognize the natural hand gestures during load-carrying scenarios by a designed swin transformer network. then, based on the real-time distance detection between human and mechanical limbs, the security assurance and force-compliant interaction of the human–superLimb system are realized. this paper provides a review of the general experimental methodology of snow-powered flow visualization and super-large-scale particle image velocimetry(sLPIV),the corresponding field deployments and major scientific findings from our work on a 2.5 MW utility-scale wind turbine at the Eolos field *** field measurements were conducted to investigate the incoming flow in the induction zone and the near-wake flows from different *** has been shown that these snow-powered measurements can provide sufficient spatiotemporal resolution and fields of view to characterize both qualitatively and quantitatively the incoming flow,all the major coherent structures generated by the turbine(e.g.,blade,nacelle and tower vortices,etc.)as well as the development and interaction of these structures in the near *** work has further revealed several interesting behaviors of near-wake flows(e.g.,wake contraction,dynamic wake modulation,meandering and deflection of the nacelle wake,etc.),and their connections with constantly-changing inflows and turbine operation,which are uniquely associated with utility-scale *** findings have demonstrated that the near wake flows,though highly complex,can be predicted with substantial statistical confidence using supervisory control and data acquisition(sCADA)and structural response information readily available from current utility-scale *** knowledge can be potentially incorporated into wake development models and turbine controllers for wind farm optimization in the future.

New concerns have been raised regarding cardiovascular （CV） risks with testosterone （t） therapy （tth）. these concerns are based primarily on two widely reported retrospective studies. However, methodological flaws and data errors invalidate both studies as credible evidence of risk. One showed reduced adverse events by half in t-treated men but reversed this result using an unproven statistical approach. the authors subsequently acknowledged serious data errors including nearly 10% contamination of the dataset by women. the second study mistakenly used the rate of t prescriptions written by healthcare providers to men with recent myocardial infarction （MI） as a proxy for the naturally occurring rate of Mh Numerous studies suggest t is beneficial, including decreased mortality in association with tth, reduced MI rate with tth in men with the greatest MI risk prognosis, and reduced CV and overall mortality with higher serum levels of endogenous t. Randomized controlled trials have demonstrated benefits of tth in men with coronary artery disease and congestive heart failure. Improvement in CV risk factors such as fat mass and glycemic control have been repeatedly demonstrated in t-deficient men treated with t. the current evidence does not support the belief that tth is associated with increased CV risk or CV mortality. On the contrary, a wealth of evidence accumulated over several decades suggests that low serum t levels are associated with increased risk and that higher endogenous t, as well as tth itself, appear to be beneficial for CV mortality and risk.

Edge preserved smoothing techniques have gained importance for the purpose of image processing applications A good edge preserving filter is given by nonlocal-means filter rather than any other linear model based approaches. this paper explores a different approach of nonlocal-means filter by using robust M-estimator function rather than the exponential function for its weight calculation. Here the filter output at each pixel is the weighted average of pixels with surrounding neighborhoods using the chosen robust M-estimator function. the main direction of this paper is to identify the best robust M-estimator function for nonlocal-means denoising algorithm. In order to speed up the computation, a new patch classification method is followed to eliminate the uncorrelated patches from the weighted averaging process. this patch classification approach compares favorably to existing techniques in respect of quality versus computational time. Validations using standard test images and brain atlas images have been analyzed and the results were compared with the other known methods. It is seen that there is reason to believe that the proposed refined technique has some notable points.
