BACKGROUND Laparoscopic-assisted radical gastrectomy(LARG)is the standard treatment for early-stage gastric carcinoma(GC).However,the negative impact of this proce-dure on respiratory function requires the optimized intraoperative management of patients in terms of *** To investigate the influence of pressure-controlled ventilation volume-guaranteed(PCV-VG)and volume-controlled ventilation(VCV)on blood gas analysis and pulmonary ventilation in patients undergoing LARG for GC based on the lung ultrasound score(LUs).METHODs The study included 103 patients with GC undergoing LARG from May 2020 to May 2023,with 52 cases undergoing PCV-VG(research group)and 51 cases undergoing VCV(control group).LUs were recorded at the time of entering the operating room(T0),20 minutes after anesthesia with endotracheal intubation(T1),30 minutes after artificial pneumoperitoneum(PP)establishment(T2),and 15 minutes after endotracheal tube removal(T5).For blood gas analysis,arterial partial pressure of oxygen(PaO_(2))and partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO_(2))were *** airway pressure(P_(peak)),plateau pressure(Pplat),mean airway pressure(P_(mean)),and dynamic pulmonary compliance(C_(dyn))were recorded at T1 and T2,1 hour after PP establishment(T3),and at the end of the operation(T4).Postoperative pulmonary complications(PPCs)were ***-and postoperative serum interleukin(IL)-1β,IL-6,and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent *** Compared with those at T0,the whole,anterior,lateral,posterior,upper,lower,left,and right lung LUs of the research group were significantly reduced at T1,T2,and T5;in the control group,the LUs of the whole and partial lung regions(posterior,lower,and right lung)decreased significantly at T2,while at T5,the LUs of the whole and some regions(lateral,lower,and left lung)increased *** comparison with the control group,the whole and regional LUs of the research group were reduc

The hot compression behavior and tensile strength after compression of a new Ni-Co-based superalloy produced using electron beam smelting layered(EBsL)solidification technology were *** compression tests were performed at temperatures of 1120℃and 1150℃,with strain rates of 1 s^(-1) and 0.01 s^(-1),reaching a true strain of *** strength was evaluated at room *** results revealed that this EBsL technology accelerates dynamic recrystallization(DRX),without compromising the strength of alloy.A significant correlation between the volume fraction of DRX and the strain rate was observed,with higher fractions at lower strain rates,leading to higher tensile ***,at the same strain rate,the specimens compressed at 1120℃exhibited higher tensile strength due to undissolvedγ′*** solution and aging heat treatment,the alloy maintained high tensile *** results suggested that the EBsL Ni-Co-based superalloy offers excellent prospects for practical applications.

Combined intestinal microbiota and transcriptomic analysis to investigate the effect of different stocking densities on the ability of Pacific white shrimp(Litopenaeus vannamei)to utilize Chlorella sorokiniana

Aiming to investigate the impact of different stocking densities on the ability of Pacific white shrimp(Litopenaeus vannamei)to utilize Chlorella sorokiniana(CHL),a 3×2 factorial design stocking experiment was used in this ***,shrimp was fed with two dietary protein sources(fishmeal[FM]and CHL)at low(LsD;100 per m^(3)),medium(MsD;200 per m^(3))and high(HsD;300 per m^(3))stocking densities for 8 *** growth performance and resistance to Vibrio parahaemolyticus(1.0×10^(7) CFU/mL)of shrimp decreased with the increase of stocking density,but dietary CHL improved this *** between the CHL and FM groups for *** resistance were significant only under high-density conditions(Psignificant interactions between stocking density and protein source were found on the activities of catalase(CAT),superoxide dismutase(sOD)and phenol oxidase(PO),and the contents of malondialdehyde(MDA)in the hepatopancreas and the activities of intestinal amylase,most of which were significantly different between CHL and FM groups only at high stocking density(Psis of 16s rDNA sequencing showed that dietary CHL increased the alpha diversity of intestinal microbiota,inhibited the colonization of pathogenic bacteria and enhanced the abundance of beneficial *** results showed that at high stocking densities,differentially expressed genes(DEGs)in the FM vs CHL group were mostly upregulated and primarily enriched in immune and metabolic related pathways including Toll,immune deficiency(Imd)and glycolysis–gluconeogenesis *** correlation analysis revealed significant correlation between the top ten intestinal bacteria at the genus level and markedly enriched DEGs,also more were detected under high density *** conclusion,CHL has great potential as a novel protein source in the intensive farming of shrimp.

High-performance broadband photodetector based on Ptse2/Mos2 heterojunction from visible to near-infrared region

Broadband photodetectors based on narrow bandgap 2D materials have garnered considerable interest for application in the field of optoelectronic devices. However, their large dark current hinders device performance. In this work, a Ptse2/Mos2heterojunction was fabricated for a broadband photodetector operating within the range of visible to near-infrared. The device exhibited suppressed dark currents with a high rectification ratio of 104. The built-in electric field of the heterojunction promoted carrier separation effectively, and the device achieved excellent photoelectric performance with responsivities of 1.7 × 103,27.52, and 21 mA/W at 635, 785, and 1550 nm wavelengths, respectively. Moreover, the specific detectivities(D*) were 2.2 × 1013Jones(635 nm), 3.55 × 1011Jones(785 nm), and 2.72 × 108Jones(1550 nm). The device demonstrated a rise/fall time of 131/241 μs under 1550 nm laser illumination. Visible and near-infrared imaging detection was also demonstrated based on the heterojunction device at room temperature. This work sheds light on the remarkable potential of Ptse2/Mos2heterojunctions in the domain of high-performance broadband photodetectors.

Nanopore design of sulfur doped hollow carbon nanospheres for superior potassium-ion battery anodes

sulfur doped carbonaceous materials are promising anodes for potassium-ion batteries because of their ability to bridge active sites and induce C/s electron coupling,resulting in increased ion storage capacitance However,the large potassium ions could cause significant volume expansion and structure collapse during operation in sulfur doped carbonaceous anodes,which lead to rapidly capacity sacrifice during long-term *** design for anchoring sulfur atom in carbon skeleton is a novel way to alleviate the structure collapse and maintain the cycling ***,this study developed a controlled nanopore and sulfur doped carbon sphere structure(s-NPHCss).In potassium-ion batteries s-NPHCss anode demonstrated exceptional performance with a high reversible capacity of 247 mAh·g^(–1)after 50 cycles at 0.2 A·g^(–1)and delivered a long cycle stability of 600 cycles at a high current density of 1.0 A·g^(–1).Interconnected nanopores and doped sulfur structure not only expand the accumulation space and offer ample active sites for diffusion and adsorption of potassium ions,but also build stable channels through nanopore structure to ensure the cyclic *** finding provides a fundamental theory for designing nanopore structures and introducing sulfur doped carbonaceous materials to enhance capacitive potassium storage and long cycle stability.

Using biodegradable material derived from renewable resources as petroleum-based plastics replacement is a promising way towards sustainable ***,the insufficient mechanical properties and complex manufacturing process of bioplastics still need to be improved for high-quality food ***,we report a top-down strategy to transform natural wood into a clear wood packaging film through scalable delignification and polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)*** wood packaging film demonstrates a laminated structure with completely collapsed cell walls and PVA intertwined together after energy-saving air drying,resulting in high light transmittance with low haze,good mechanical performance,and high barrier performance for oxygen and water *** dynamics simulations reveal the underlying fracture mechanism between cellulose and PVA,which effectively enhances the Young’s modulus and strength of the wood packaging *** findings contribute to the development of biodegradable and strong packaging materials,as well as other food-related applications,using sustainable wood.
