It is well established that in current human-dominated world,environmental change is closely coupled with socio-economic factors,and this is reflected in conceptual frameworks of important policies(Díaz et al.2015).Humans are adversely affecting biodiversity and climate change on a planetary scale(Rockström et al.2009).Anthropogenic transformation of ecosystems has been driven by rapid social and economic changes,manifested by direct drivers such as land use change and climate change(Nelson et al.2006).Central and Eastern Europe(CEE)has been a rap-idly transitioning region in terms of economic growth and political *** the collapse of former Eastern Bloc and revolutions in several CEE countries after 1989,CEE countries have been undergoing political and economic transformation toward democracy and free *** accession to the European Union also brought in changes of political environment and ecosystem management possibilities and *** socioeconomic changes have influenced environmental condition and ecosystem management in this region,with changing pres-sures on biodiversity and ecosystem *** changes in Central and Eastern Europe have been closely linked especially to agricultural *** example,inorganic fertilizer use in several CEE countries dropped in a single year to 25%of its former level after the collapse of ***,in turn,had an enormous impact on farmland biodiversity(stoate et al.2009).

If K is a field with involution and E an arbitrary graph, the involution from K naturally induces an involution of the Leavitt path algebra LK（E）. We show that the involution on LK（E） is proper if the involution on K is positive-definite, even in the case when the graph E is not necessarily finite or row-finite. It has been shown that the Leavitt path algebra LK（E） is regular if and only if E is acyclic. We give necessary and sufficient conditions for LK（E） to be ＊-regular （i.e., regular with proper involution）. This characterization of ＊-regularity of a Leavitt path algebra is given in terms of an algebraic property of K, not just a graph-theoretic property of E. This differs from the known characterizations of various other algebraic properties of a Leavitt path algebra in terms of graph- theoretic properties of E alone. As a corollary, we show that Handelman＇s conjecture （stating that every ,-regular ring is unit-regular） holds for Leavitt path algebras. Moreover, its generalized version for rings with local units also continues to hold for Leavitt path algebras over arbitrary graphs.

A nonlinear differential equation system with nonlinearities of a sector type is studied. Using the Lyapunov direct method and the comparison method, conditions are derived under which the zero solution of the system is stable with respect to all variables and asymptotically stable with respect to a part of variables. Moreover, the impact of nonstationary perturbations with zero mean values on the stability of the zero solution is investigated. In addition, the corresponding time-delay system is considered for which delay-independent partial asymptotic stability conditions are found. Three examples are presented to demonstrate effectiveness of the obtained results.

One of the outcomes of the thought provoking and stimulating conference for me was the realisation that some of the problems experienced in the Chinese context are similar to the ones Hungarian foreign language education faces. The first such issue is the efficiency of language teaching in Hungary. According to a European Union survey （European Commission, 2012）, Hungary occupies the bottom place with regard to the number of Hungarians who can speak languages other than their mother tongue. This is despite the fact that the number of teaching hours during the first two years of foreign language teaching is among the highest in Hungary within the EU （European Commission/EACEA/ Eurydice, p. 105）, and that recommended minimum for annual instruction time for foreign languages in compulsory education is more than the time spent teaching foreign languages in Austria, which is 1 lth among the 28 EU countries regarding the knowledge of foreign languages （European Commission/EACEA/Eurydice, pp. 106-7）. secondly, it seems that in Hungary, too, there is a gap between the input and the output in that the input does not always result in intake materialising in the learners＇ output. One perhaps weak excuse for the dire state of Hungarian language education may be that Hungarian, similarly to Chinese, is not an Indo-European language, albeit it is not as different from English as Chinese.

In this paper,we report on the crystal structure and magnetic properties of the nano structured Baordered phases of rare-earth manganites obtained from the optimally doped solid solutions Ln0.70Ba0.30MnO3(Ln=Pr,Nd).The materials were studied by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersive spectroscopy and sQUID-magnetometry *** is found that states with different degrees of cation ordering in the A-sublattice of the ABO3 perovskite can be obtained by employing special conditions of chemical *** particular,reduction of the parent compounds results in the formation of a nanocomposite containing ferrimagnetic anion-deficient ordered phase *** of the composite does not change an average size of the nanocrystallites,but drastically alters their phase composition to stabilize ferromagnetic stoichiometric ordered phase LnBaMn2O6 and ferromagnetic superstoichiometric disordered phase Ln0.90Ba0.10MnO3+δ.It is shown that the magnetic properties of the materials are determined by the joint action of chemical(cation ordering)and external(surface tension)pressures.

High-resolution spectral radiance measurements were taken by a spectral radiometer on board a heli- copter over the Us Oklahoma southern Great Plain near the Atmospheric Radiation Measurements (ARM) site during August 1998. The radiometer has a spectral range from 350 nm to 2500 nm at 1 nm resolution The measurements covered several grass and cropland scene types at multiple solar zenith angles. Detailed atmospheric corrections using the Moderate Resolution Transmittance (MODTRAN) radiation model and in-situ sounding and aerosol measurements have been applied to the helicopter measurements in order to re- trieve the surface and top of atmosphere (TOA) Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function (BRDF) characteristics. The atmospheric corrections are most significant in the visible wavelengths and in the strong water vapor absorption wavelengths in the near infrared region Adjusting the BRDF to TOA requires a larger correction in the visible channels since Rayleigh scattenng contributes significantly to the TOA reflectance. The opposite corrections to the visible and near infrarred wavelengths can alter the radiance dif- ference and ratio that many remote sensing techniques are based on, such as the normalixed difference vege- tation index (NDVI). The data show that surface BRDFs and spectral albedos are highly sensitive to the veg- etation type and soldr zenith angle while BRDF at TOA depends more on atmospheric conditions and the vi ewing geometry. Comparison with the Clouds and the Earth's Radiant Energy system (CEREs) derived clear sky Angular Distribution Model (ADM) for crop and grass scene type shows a standard deviation of 0.08 in broadband anisotropic function at 25°solar zenith angle and 0.15 at 50° solar zenith angle, respectively.

Alzheimer’s disease(AD)is the most common type of dementia,but it is very difficult to diagnose with certainty,so many AD studies have attempted to find early and relevant diagnostic *** upon activation,normal T cell expressed and secreted(RANTEs,also known as C-C chemokine ligand)is a chemokine involved in the migration of T cells and other lymphoid *** in RANTEs levels and its expression in blood or in cerebrospinal fluid have been reported in some neurodegenerative diseases,such as Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis,but also in metabolic diseases in which inflammation plays a *** aim of this observational study was to assess RANTEs levels in peripheral blood as clinical indicators of *** levels of RANTEs were investigated in 85 AD patients in a relatively early phase of AD(median 8.5 months after diagnosis;39 men and 46 women;average age 75.7 years),and in 78 control subjects(24 men and 54 women;average age 66 years).We found much higher plasma levels of RANTEs in AD patients compared to controls.A negative correlation of RANTEs levels with age,disease duration,Fazekas scale score,and the medial temporal lobe atrophy(MTA)score(scheltens’s scale)was found in AD patients,i.e.,the higher levels corresponded to earlier stages of the *** RANTEs levels were not correlated with cognitive *** AD patients,RANTEs levels were positively correlated with the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor-α,which is consistent with the wellknown fact that AD is associated with inflammatory *** levels were also positively correlated with insulin levels in AD patients,with insulin resistance(HOMA-R)and pancreatic beta cell function(HOMA-F).This study evaluated several clinical and metabolic factors that may affect plasma levels of RANTEs,but these factors could not explain the increases in RANTEs levels observed in AD *** levels of RANTEs appear to be an interesting

Objective: Prader-Willi syndrome (PWs) is characterized by severe hypotonia and feeding difficulties in early infancy, followed by excessive eating and gradual development of morbid obesity in later infancy or early childhood. Patients with PWs are often too young to manifest sufficient features or have atypical findings, making genetic testing important to confirm the diagnosis of PWs. Approximately 99% of patients with PWs have a diagnostic abnormality in the parent-specific methylation imprint within the Prader-Willi critical region (PWCR) at chromosome 15q11.2-q12. Of them, 70% have a paternal deletion; 25% have a maternal uniparental disomy (UPD); and s: Current techniques can identify a diagnostic abnormality, such as paternal deletion or maternal UPD for most of patients with PWs, but they are labor-intensive and cost-expensive. Multiplex ligation-dependent probe amplification (MLPA) is a novel, simple, and cost-effective technique for analysis of relative quantification in a single assay, which has recently been applied for the detection of genomic deletions, duplications, and amplifications in a variety of genes. Results: six out of 20 patients referred for genetic diagnosis of PWs were found to have a deletion by MLPA, confirmed by FIsH and DNA methylation analysis with 100% concordance. Conclusion: MLPA’s high sensitivity and specificity for deletion detection is the same as FIsH or southern blot based analysis. Additional collaborative effort for developing and validating the complete MLPA-PWs assay, for not only detecting deletion but also identifying methylation abnormality, is on going.
