This paper,which aims to increment the vocabulary of an existing thesaurus using hyponymy relations,focuses on an agricultural thesaurus called *** main goal is to acquire AGROVOC-qualified candidates from the hyponymy relations of legal texts and *** propose a pattern-based approach to hyponymy relation *** experimental result showed that 222 and 868 candidates are extracted from statutory sentences with 67.1%precision and tables with 37.0%precision,respectively.

Cenozoic basalts from the Linqu County, shandong Province, China entrain some clinopy- roxene crystals, of which many contain abundant glass melt inclusions. These melt inclusions are ex- tremely irregular in shape with most grain sizes in a range of 10-50 μm and coexist with low-Mg# olivines, labradorites and Ca-rich potassium feldspars. In-situ major and trace element analyses show that the glass melt inclusions are high in alkalis (Na2O+K2O > 10 wt%), siO2 (>54 wt%), CaO and FeO (>4 wt%), but low in MgO (Mg# s ((Ce/Yb)cn = 11.6-16.4) and apparently posi- tive Eu anomalies (Eu/Eu* > 2), thus having phonoli- tic compositions. The compositional features of cli- nopyroxene crystals, glass melt inclusions and their coexistent minerals suggest that these melt inclu- sions were exotic melts in clinopyroxenes trapped prior to their entrainment in the host basalt. The dis- covery of these melt inclusions provides a new ap- proach to further investigating the evolution of Meso- zoic lithospheric mantle beneath the southeastern North China Craton.

Magnetic sensorless sensing experiments of the plasma horizontal positionhave been carried out in the superconducting tokamak HT-7. The horizontal position is calculatedfrom the vertical field coil current and voltage without using signals of magnetic probes placednearby a plasma. The calculations are focused on the ripple frequency component of the power *** is no drift problem with the time integration of magnetic probe signals. The error of thederived plasma position is lower than 2% of the plasma minor radius.

Controlling human-like robots with musculoskeletal structure has been a challenging problem in engineering. In biological studies, motor synergy hypothesis has been proposed as a solution in order to control high degree-of-freedom and complex human body. In this paper, we focus on exploring the applicability of motor synergies in generating goal-directed movements by optimal control in a human-like robotic arm. We focus on three problems： 1） Can motor synergies facilitate the solving of optimal control problem？ 2） What properties should motor synergies have in order to achieve tasks？ 3） How should motor synergies be utilized better？ For the first problem we show that goal-directed movements can be achieved by utilizing motor synergies which have properties of achieving the goals. For the second problem, we testify motor synergies which have different properties and discover that energy efficiency is an important aspect in motor synergies which can also be utilized to achieve goal-directed movements. This discovery also implies that we can obtain motor synergies by other ways rather than from goal-directed optimal control signals. For the third problem, we show that the control complexity can be further reduced by utilizing a subset of motor synergies which are effective to achieve goals.

The Karvonen formula, which is widely used to estimate exercise intensity, contains maximum heart rate, H Rmax, as a variable. This study employed pedaling experiments to assess which of the proposed formulas for calculating H Rmaxwas the most suitable for use with the Karvonen formula. First, two kinds of experiments involving an ergometer were performed: an all-in-one-day experiment that tested eight pedaling loads in one day, and a one-load-per-day experiment that tested one load per day for eight days.A comparison of the data on 7 subjects showed that the all-in-one-day type of experiment was better for assessing H Rmaxformulas,at least for the load levels tested in our experiments. A statistical analysis of the experimental data on 47 subjects showed two of the H Rmaxformulas to be suitable for use in the Karvonen formula to estimate exercise intensity for males in their 20 s. In addition, the physical characteristics of a person having the greatest impact on exercise intensity were determined.

We show three-dimensional reconstructions of a region of an integrated circuit from a 130 nm copper *** reconstructions employ x-ray computed tomography,measured with a new and innovative high-magnification x-ray *** instrument uses a focused electron beam to generate x-rays in a 100 nm spot and energy-resolving x-ray detectors that minimize backgrounds and hold promise for the identification of materials within the *** x-ray generation target,a layer of platinum,is fabricated on the circuit wafer itself.A region of interest is imaged from a limited range of angles and without physically removing the region from the larger *** reconstruction is consistent with the circuit's design file.

Laser plasma accelerators （LPAs） have made great progress, achieving electron beam with energy up to 1 GeV from a centimeter scale capillary plasma waveguide. Here, we report the measurement of optical transition radiation （OTR） from the capillary-based LPA electron beams. Transition radiation images, produced by electrons passing through two separate foils （located at 2.3 m and 3.8 m away from the exit of the LPA） were recorded with a high resolution imaging system, respectively. Two magnetic quadrupole lenses were placed right after the capillary to focus and collimate the electron beams. significant localized spikes appeared in the OTR images when the electron beam was focused by the magnetic quadrupole lenses, indicating the coherence of the radiation and the existence of ultrashort longitudinal structures inside the electron beam.

In this paper, we aim to use an innovative model to integrate applied work on a fast-acting mind-body intervention, Mind-Body Bridging (MBB), with theoretical work based on psychology and neuroscience. In an affect-object generative inference and regulation (AGIR) model, we propose that functional dynamics between two systems, the affect-object thought generation system and the cognitive control system, can guide an individual to achieve homeostasis within self and harmonious relationships with others. We used Neurosynth (***), an automated meta-analysis database, to identify potential brain substrates underlying the key components in the AGIR model. Based on the findings, some brain regions are implicated as the key cortical substrates in this model, corroborating our central hypothesis that a hallmark of mind-body wellbeing can be characterized as a low-frequency anti-correlantion between 1) the cognitive control system including the dorsal anterior/middle cingulate cortex, and 2) the affect-object thought generation system including the ventromedial prefrontal cortex and posterior cingulate cortex. MBB provides an efficient strategy for responding to and dissolving a fundamental problem that impairs mind-body wellbeing, i.e., unrealistic identity-grasping consisting of self-centered embodied expectations of self and others. We demonstrated how theoretical and applied work could be integrated by drawing evidence from the neuroscience literature to support the AGIR model, and then we applied the AGIR model to elucidate how MBB might work.
