Experiments and modelling are conducted for general understanding on the imbalance phenomenon and for discus.ion on the strategies to improve the bed inventory balance and stability of a dual circulating fluidized bed(DCFB)*** experiments are carried out in a 15.5 m high pilot-scale DCFB cold test system.A fluid-dynamic DCFB model is developed based on a 1.5-dimensional semi-empirical model of an industrial CFB boiler,validated by experimental *** effects of control methods and operation conditions on the bed inventory balance and on the stability of the pilot-and large-scale DCFB systems are discussed.A"stable-unbalanced"state,where the system reaches a steady state,consis.ing of un-balanced bed inventories.is observed in both experiments and model *** maintain a balanced state and similar bed inventory in the DCFB systems with similar cross-sectional areas.it is recom-mended to keep similar total pressure drops or gas velocities.in both reactors.

Forest fires are natural disasters that can occur suddenly and can be very damaging,burning thousands of square *** is better than suppres.ion and prediction models of forest fire occurrence have developed from the logis.ic regres.ion model,the geographical weighted logis.ic regres.ion model,the Lasso regres.ion model,the random forest model,and the support vector machine model based on historical forest fire data from 2000 to 2019 in Jilin *** models,along with a distribution map are presented in this paper to provide a theoretical basis for forest fire management in this *** studies show that the prediction accuracies of the two machine learning models are higher than those of the three generalized linear regres.ion *** accuracies of the random forest model,the support vector machine model,geographical weighted logis.ic regres.ion model,the Lasso regres.ion model,and logis.ic model were 88.7%,87.7%,86.0%,85.0%and 84.6%,*** is the main factor affecting forest fires,while the impacts of topography factors,human and social-economic factors on fire occurrence were similar.

Understanding the driving mechanism of the divergence of hoarding strategies of animals.i.e.,scatter-hoarding ***-hoarding)is crucial to understand the ecological and evolutionary implications of plant-animal *** et al.(2022)compiled a global-scale dataset from the published literature including 183 species of seed-hoarding rodents,and concluded that phylogenetic conservatism,functional traits,and environmental factors counted for the hoarding behavior divergence of rodents.A more thought-provoking ques.ion may be asked:Do these variables contribute equally or not to explain the divergence of hoarding strategies?Here,we re-analyzed Zhang et al's(2022)dataset using partial Ralk calculation(ives 2019)to parse out the relative contri-lik butions of these variables.
