As a byproduct of water treatment,drinking water treatment aluminum sludge(DWTAs)has challenges related to imperfect treatment and disposal,which has caused potential harm to human health and the *** this paper,heat treatment DWTAs as a supplement cementitious material was used to prepare a green cementing *** results show that the 800℃ is considered as the optimum heat treatment temperature for ***-800℃ is fully activated after thermal decomposition to form incompletely crystallized highly activeγ-Al2O3 and active siO_(2).The addition of DWTAs promoted the formation of ettringite and C-(A)-s-H gel,which could make up for the low early compres.ive strength of cementing materials to a certain *** cured for 90 days,the compres.ive strength of the mortar with 30% DWTAs-800℃ reached 44.86 *** dynamic process was well simulated by krstulovi′c-Dabi′c hydration kinetics *** study provided a methodology for the fabrication of environmentally friendly and cost-effective compound cementitiousmaterials and proposed a“waste-to-resource”strategy for the sustainable management of typical solid wastes.

The air infiltration rate of buildings strongly influences.indoor environment and energy *** this study,several traditional methods for determining the air infiltration rate were compared,and their accuracy in different scenarios was ***,a method combining computational flow dynamics(CFD)with the swami and Chandra(s-C)model was developed to predict the influence of the surrounding environment on the air infiltration *** buildings.in Dalian,China,were selected:one with a simple surrounding environment and the other with a complex surrounding environment;their air infiltration rates were *** test results were used to validate the accuracy of the air infiltration rate solution models.in different urban *** the building with a simple environment,the difference between the simulation and experimental results was 0.86%–22.52%.For the building with a complex environment,this difference ranged from 17.42%to 159.28%.We found that most traditional models provide accurate results for buildings with simple surrounding and that the simulation results widely vary for buildings with complex *** results of the method of combining CFD with the s-C model were more accurate,and the relative error between the simulation and test results was 10.61%.The results.indicate that the environment around the building should be fully considered when calculating the air infiltration *** results of this study can guide the application of methods of determining air infiltration rate.

Cement-based materials are fundamental in the construction industry,and enhancing their properties.is an ongoing *** use of superabsorbent polymers(sAP)has gained significant attention as a pos.ible way to improve the performance of cement-based materials due to their unique water-absorption and retention *** study inves.igates the multifaceted impact of kaolin intercalation-modified superabsorbent polymers(k-sAP)on the properties of cement *** results show that k-sAP significantly affects the cement mortar’s rheological behavior,with dis.inct phases of water absorption and release,leading to changes.in workability over ***,k-sAP alters the hydration kinetics,delaying the exothermic peak of hydration and subsequently modifying the heat release ***,k-sAP effectively maintains a higher internal relative humidity within the mortar,reducing the autogenous shrinkage ***,k-sAP can have a beneficial effect on pore structure and this can be ascribed to the internal curing effect of released water from k-sAP.

in this study,we reported the discovery and structure-activity relations.ip analysis of chrysin derivatives as a new class of inhibitors targeting poly(ADP-ribose)polymerase 1(PARP1).Among these derivatives,compound 5d emerged as the most effective chrysin-based inhibitor of PARP1,with an iC50 value of 108 nmol·L^(-1).This compound significantly inhibited the proliferation and migration of breast cancer cell lines HCC-1937 and MDA-MB-436 by inducing DNA ***,5d induced apoptosis and caused an extended G1/s-phase in these cell *** docking studies revealed that 5d possesses a strong binding affinity toward *** vivo,in a xenograft model,5d effectively reduced tumor growth by downregulating PARP1 ***,compound 5d shows promise as a potential therapeutic agent for the treatment of BRCA wild-type breast cancer.

in the past decade,there has been tremendous progress.in integrating chalcogenide phase-change materials(PCMs)on the silicon photonic platform for non-volatile memory to neuromorphic in-memory computing *** particular,these non von Neumann computational elements and systems benefit from mass manufacturing of silicon photonic integrated circuits(PiCs)on 8-inch wafers using a 130 nm complementary metal-oxide semiconductor *** manufacturing based on deep-ultraviolet lithography and electron-beam lithography enables rapid prototyping of PiCs,which can be integrated with high-quality PCMs based on the wafer-scale sputtering technique as a back-end-of-line *** this article,we present an overview of recent advances.in waveguide integrated PCM memory cells,functional devices,and neuromorphic systems,with an emphasis on fabrication and integration processes to attain state-of-the-art device *** a short overview of PCM based photonic devices,we discuss the materials properties of the functional layer as well as the progress on the light guiding layer,namely,the silicon and germanium waveguide ***,we discuss the cleanroom fabrication flow of waveguide devices.integrated with thin films and nanowires,silicon waveguides and plasmonic microheaters for the electrothermal s.itching of PCMs and mixed-mode ***,the fabrication of photonic and photonic–electronic neuromorphic computing systems.is *** systems consist of arrays of PCM memory elements for associative learning,matrix-vector multiplication,and pattern *** large-scale integration,the neuromorphic photonic computing paradigm holds the promise to outperform digital electronic accelerators by taking the advantages of ultra-high bandwidth,high speed,and energy-efficient operation in running machine learning algorithms.

Nanoscale zero-valent iron(NZVi),which has the advantages of small particle size,large specific surface area,and high reactivity,is often injected into contaminated aquifers.in the form of ***,the prone to pas.ivation and agglomeration as well as poor stability andmobility of NZVi limit the further application of this technology in ***,sulfided NZVi loaded on reduced graphene oxide(s-NZVi/rGO)and guar gum(GG)with shearthinning properties as stabilizers were used to synthesize s-NZVi/rGO@GG ***,TEM,and FT-iR confirmed that the dispersion and anti-pas.ivation of NZVi were optimized in the coupled *** stability and mobility of the slurry were improved by increasing the GG concentration,enhancing the pH,and decreasing the ionic strength and the presence of Ca^(2+)ions,respectively.A modified advection-dispersion equation(ADE)was used to simulate the transport experiments considering the strain and physicochemical deposition/***,colloidal filtration theory(CFT)demonstrated that Brownian motion plays a dominant role in themigration of s-NZVi/rGO@GG slurry,and the maximummigration distance can be increased by appropriately increasing the injection ***-Derjaguin-Landau-Verwey-Overbeek(XDLVO)theory showed that the excellent stability and migration of s-NZVi/rGO@GG slurry mainly came from the GG spatial *** study has.important implications for the field injection of s-NZVi/rGO@GG *** to the injection parameters,the injection range of s-NZVi/rGO@GG slurry is effectively controlled,which lays the foundation for the promotion of application in actual fields.
