introduction:Malaria is a significant public health concern and tropical disease,particularly affecting Myanmar within the Greater Mekong *** annual parasite index(APi)exceeds 1 per 10,000 population in the northern seven towns.ips of Rakhine state,with Minbya Towns.ip designated as a highburden area for malaria by the World Health Organization(WHO)Myanmar and the National Malaria Control Programme(NMCP).since 2017,the Malaria reduction intensification plan has been in place in this towns.ip to combat the high disease trans.is.ion *** study aims to assess the malaria epidemiology in Minbya Towns.ip from 2017 to 2020 under the intensification plan for elimination,as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of the integrated strategy in reducing cases.in hotspot ***:The study utilized a surveillance study design to collect secondary data from the Malaria surveillance system(Mss)and the epidemiologic monitoring dashboard of Minbya Towns.ip,Maruk-U District,located in Rakhine ***:since 2017,the Malaria prevention and control(P&C)Program in Minbya Towns.ip has successfully decreased malaria morbidity,eliminated malaria-related deaths,and bolstered malaria tes.ing capabilities through the participation of village health volunteers(VHVs).Approximately 87%of malaria prevention and control services are executed by the towns.ip’s malaria elimination and disease control programs,with additional support from *** APi dropped from 13 in 2017 to 2.5 in 2020,with Plasmodium vivax being the most prevalent malaria species,accounting for 55%of ***:The study suggests that early diagnosis and promotion of artemisinin-based combination treatment(ACT),along with strategic planning including expanding active case detection in rural health centers and implementing a communitybasedcommunitybased integrated healthcare approach,are effective and efficient strategies for malaria elimination.

in this paper,we propose an analytical stochas.ic dynamic programming(sDP)algorithm to address the optimal management problem of price-maker community energy *** a price-maker,energy storage smooths price differences,thus decreasing energy arbitrage ***,this price-smoothing effect can result in significant external welfare changes by reduc-ing consumer costs and producer revenues,which is not negligible for the community with energy storage *** such,we formulate community storage management as an sDP that aims to maximize both energy arbitrage and community *** incorporate market interaction into the sDP format,we propose a framework that derives partial but sufficient market information to approximate impact of storage operations on market *** we present an analytical sDP algorithm that does not require state *** from computational efficiency,another advantage of the analytical algorithm is to guide energy storage to charge/discharge by directly comparing its current marginal value with expected future marginal *** studies.indicate community-owned energy storage that maximizes both arbitrage and welfare value gains more benefits than storage that maximizes only *** proposed algorithm ensures optimality and largely reduces the computational complexity of the standard *** Terms-Analytical stochas.ic dynamic programming,energy management,energy storage,price-maker,social welfare.

Machine-learned augmentations to turbulence models can be advantageous for flows within the training dataset but can often cause harm *** lack of generalizability arises because the constants(as well as the functions.in a Reynolds-averaged Navier–stokes(RANs)model are coupled,and un-constrained re-calibration of these constants(and functions)can disrupt the calibrations of the baseline model,the preservation of which is critical to the model's *** safeguard the behaviors of the baseline model beyond the training dataset,machine learning must be constrained such that basic calibrations like the law of the wall are kept *** letter aims to identify such constraints.in two-equation RANs models so that future machine learning work can be performed without violating these *** demonstrate that the identified constraints are not ***,they help preserve the generalizability of the baseline model.

Atomically thin Pt nanolayers were synthesized on the surface of Mo2TiC2 MXenes and used for the catalytic dehydrogenation of ethane and propane into ethylene and propylene,two important chemicals for the petrochemical *** compared with Pt nanoparticles,the atomically thin Pt nanolayer catalyst showed superior coke-resistance(no deactivation for 24 h),high activity(turnover frequencies(TOFs)of 0.4–1.2 s^(-1)),and selectivity(>95%)toward ethylene and *** unique Pt nanolayer has a similar geometric surface to Pt nanoparticles,enabling the inves.igations of the electronic effect on the catalytic performance,where the geometric effect is *** is found that the electronic effect plays a critical role in dehydrogenative product selectivity and catalyst *** metal–support interaction is found dependent on the substrate and metal components,providing wide opportunities to explore high-performance MXene-supported metallic catalysts.

Design Optimization and Operating Performance of s-CO_(2) Brayton Cycle under Fluctuating Ambient Temperature and Diverse Power Demand scenarios

The supercritical CO_(2)(s-CO_(2)) Brayton cycle is expected to replace steam cycle in the application of solar power tower system due to the attractive potential to improve efficiency and reduce *** the concentrated solar power plant with thermal energy storage is usually located in drought area and used to provide a dispatchable power output,the s-CO_(2) Brayton cycle has to operate under fluctuating ambient temperature and diverse power demand *** addition,the cycle design condition will directly affect the off-design *** this work,the combined effects of design condition,and distributions of ambient temperature and power demand on the cycle operating performance are analyzed,and the off-design performance maps are proposed for the first time.A cycle design method with feedback mechanism of operating performance under varied ambient temperature and power demand is.introduced *** show that the low design value of compressor inlet temperature is not conductive to efficient operation under low loads and sufficient output under high ambient *** average yearly efficiency is most affected by the average power demand,while the load cover factor is significantly influenced by the average ambient *** multi-objective optimization,the optimal solution of designed compressor inlet temperature is close to the minimum value of35℃ in Delingha with low ambient temperature,while reaches 44.15℃ in Daggett under the scenario of high ambient temperature,low average power demand,long duration and large value of peak load during the peak temperature *** the cycle designed with compressor inlet temperature of 35℃ instead of 44.15℃ in Daggett under light industry power demand,the reduction of load cover factor will reach 0.027,but the average yearly efficiency can barely be improved.

The insensitivity of semiconductors to visible and infrared light is a key constraint on the utilization of light energy in photocatalytic *** photocatalysts with full-spectrum absorption through surface engineering is an effective approach to fully harnes.ing light energy in semiconductor ***,a novel stable Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene/Cds heterojunction catalyst is obtained by in-situ epitaxial growth of two-dimensional(2D)Cds nanosheets on 2D MXene interface via a solvothermal *** exceptional light absorption properties of MXene confer outstanding full-spectrum driven photocat-alytic hydrogen evolution capability upon the heterogeneous *** unique 2D/2D structure effectively mitigated the recombination of photogenerated carriers,enhancing the photocatalytic performance of the ***,the composite catalyst exhibits a significantly higher surface temperature of 80.4℃under visible light irradiation at an intensity of 0.1 W/cm^(2),which is 1.84 times higher than that of *** irradiation of visible and near infrared light,the composite catalyst with photothermal ef-fect demonstrates a remarkable hydrogen evolution rate of 65.4 mmol g^(-1)h^(-1),which is 7.2 times higher than that of Cds *** study introduces a novel approach for constructing full-spectrum absorption catalysts and expands the application of the photothermal effect in photocatalytic hydrogen evolution research.

The action mechanism of the work done by the electric field force on moving charges to s.imulate the emergence of carrier generation/recombination in a PN junction

it is discovered that the product of the current and the electric field in a PN junction should be regarded as the rate of work(power)done by the electric field force on moving charges(hole current and electron current),which was previously misinterpreted as solely a Joule heating *** clarify that it is exactly the work done by the electric field force on the moving charges to s.imulate the emergence of non-equilibrium carriers,which triggers the novel physical *** regards to Joule heat,we point out that it should be calculated from Ohm’s law,rather than simply from the product of the current and the electric *** on this understanding,we conduct thorough discus.ion on the role of the electric field force in the process of carrier recombination and carrier *** thermal effects of carrier recombination and carrier generation followed are incorporated into the thermal equation of *** present study shows that the exothermic effect of carrier recombination leads to a temperature rise at the PN interface,while the endothermic effect of carrier generation causes a temperature reduction at the *** two opposite effects cause opposite heat flow directions.in the PN junction under forward and backward bias voltages,highlighting the significance of managing device heating phenomena in design ***,this study possesses referential significance for the design and tuning on the performance of piezotronic devices.
