Due to the exponential growth of video data,aided by rapid advancements in multimedia *** became difficult for the user to obtain information from a large video *** process of providing an abstract of the entire video that includes the most representative frames is known as static video *** method resulted in rapid exploration,indexing,and retrieval of massive video *** propose a framework for static video summary based on a Binary Robust Invariant scalable Keypoint(BRIsK)and bisecting K-means clustering *** current method effectively recognizes relevant frames using BRIsK by extracting keypoints and the descriptors from video *** video frames’BRIsK features are clustered using a bisecting K-means,and the keyframe is determined by selecting the frame that is most near the cluster *** applying any clustering parameters,the appropriate clusters number is determined using the silhouette *** were carried out on a publicly available open video project(OVP)dataset that contained videos of different *** proposed method’s effectiveness is compared to existing methods using a variety of evaluation metrics,and the proposed method achieves a trade-off between computational cost and quality.

Objective: Genome-wide association studies have demonstrated that single nucleotide polymorphisms (sNPs) are important risk factors for the development of prostate cancer (PCa). Preliminary studies have suggested that the incidence of PCa in saudi males is low but is probably familial or genetically ***: To identify any possible association of sNP with PCa development in saudi patients, we investigated a group of sNPs in saudi PCa patients (n=85) and compared the outcomes to healthy normal controls (n=115) and nodular hyperplasia patients (n=120). DNA was extracted from paraffin-embedded formalin fixed tissue or whole blood from both patients’ groups and healthy control group. A total of thirteen sNPs were genotyped using TaqMan® minor groove binder polymerase chain reaction ***: The rs16901979A, s629242T and rs1447295A alleles were found at significantly higher frequency in PCa patients than controls (ps16901979 CA genotype was found at significantly greater frequency in PCa patients than in healthy controls (43% vs. 14%, odds ratio=4.6, p=0.0001) and benign hyperplasia group (43% vs. 25%, odds ratio=2.2, p=0.009).Conclusion: Our study has highlighted the association of rs16901979 sNP with PCa in saudi males. such findings have important implications in the PCa diagnosis and in screening unaffected family members of saudi patients.

sickle Cell Anemia(sCA)is a prevalent genetic condition in saudi Arabia,particularly in the Jazan *** study’s purpose was to assess the prevalence of de-pression among individuals with sCA in this area and to identify the factors associated with this *** study involved 391 adult participants,all patients in the hematology center of Prince Mohammed bin Nasser Hospital(PMNH).Data was collected through an anonymous interview questionnaire–the Arabic version of the Patient Health Questionnaire-9(PHQ-9)–between March–May *** questionnaire covered socio-demographic information and variables related to the participant’s sCA history,such as pain levels,frequency of pain,hospitalization duration,and frequency of blood *** variables underwent Chi-square and One-way ANOVA testing,followed by multivariate *** study found a 42%prevalence of depression among the sCA *** significantly linked with heightened depression levels included being widowed or divorced,experiencing frequent and severe pain,and longer duration of hospital *** educational level of at least a bachelor’s degree was also a significant *** study reveals a high prevalence of depression among sCA patients in the Jazan *** underscores the need for policymakers to educate both physicians and patients about the importance of mental health in sCA *** study also highlights the need for more research into the specific causes and effects of depressive symptoms in sCA patients to inform the creation of effective management plans.

Growth and characterization of single crystals of the quaternary TlGases compound

The electrical conductivity and Hall effect for T1Gases crystals have been investigated over a wide temperature range. The crystals we used are grown by a modified Bridgman technique and possess p-type conductivity. The energy gap has been found to be 1.63 eV, whereas the ionization energy is 0.25 eV. The variations of the Hall mobility as well as the carrier concentration with temperature have been investigated. The scattering mechanisms of the carder are checked over the whole investigated temperature range. Furthermore, the diffusion coefficient, relaxation time, and diffusion length of holes are estimated.

Generating of Test Data by harmony search Against Genetic Algorithms

Many search-based algorithms have been successfully applied in sev-eral software engineering *** algorithms(GAs)are the most used in the scientiﬁc domains by scholars to solve software testing *** imi-tate the theory of natural selection and *** harmony search algorithm(HsA)is one of the most recent search algorithms in the last *** imitates the behavior of a musician toﬁnd the best *** have estimated the simi-larities and the differences between genetic algorithms and the harmony search algorithm in diverse research *** test data generation process represents a critical task in software ***,there is no work comparing the performance of genetic algorithms and the harmony search algorithm in the test data generation *** paper studies the similarities and the differences between genetic algorithms and the harmony search algorithm based on the ability and speed ofﬁnding the required test *** current research performs an empirical comparison of the HsA and the GAs,and then the signiﬁcance of the results is estimated using the *** study investigates the efﬁciency of the harmony search algorithm and the genetic algorithms according to(1)the time performance,(2)the signiﬁcance of the generated test data,and(3)the adequacy of the generated test data to satisfy a given testing *** results showed that the harmony search algorithm is signiﬁcantly faster than the genetic algo-rithms because the t-Test showed that the p-value of the time values is 0.026s the signiﬁcance level=0.05 at 95%conﬁdence level).In contrast,there is no signiﬁcant difference between the two algorithms in generating the adequate test data because the t-Test showed that the p-value of theﬁtness values is 0.25>α.

The Riemann wave system has a fundamental role in describing waves in various nonlinear natural phenomena,for instance,tsunamis in the *** paper focuses on executing the generalized exponential rational function approach and some numerical methods to obtain a distinct range of traveling wave structures and numerical results of the two-dimensional Riemann *** stability of obtained traveling wave solutions is analyzed by satisfying the constraint conditions of the Hamiltonian *** simulations are investigated via the finite difference method to verify the accuracy of the obtained *** extract the approximation solutions to the underlying problem,some ODE solvers in FORTRAN software are applied,and outcomes are shown *** stability and accuracy of the numerical schemes using Fourier’s stabilitymethod and error analysis,respectively,to increase the reassurance are investigated.A comparison between the analytical and numerical results is obtained and graphically *** proposed methods are effective and practical to be applied for solving more partial differential equations(PDEs).

Development of Non-ABO Red Blood Cell Alloantibodies in Patient Undergoing Allogeneic Haematopoietic stem Cell Transplant

Alloantibodies that are non ABO Alloimmunization to protein antigens happens only after exposure, in contrast to ABO isohaemagglutinins, which are present naturally, even in the absence of prior exposure. It is recognized that while non-ABO RBC antibodies are less common than ABO antibodies, they generate essentially the same issues that lead to unfavorable clinical results. If non-ABO alloantibodies are identified early on, these issues related complications may be avoided This call for an in-depth understanding of the recipient and donor’s ABO-Rh grouping, antibody screening, and the phenotype of certain antigens. Equally important, the temporal association time between transplantation and hemolysis can help identify the underlying mechanism of hemolysis and direct appropriate management. Therefore, for that, it is crucial to identify the etiology of post-HsCT anemia for prevention and therapy, in addition to a thorough grasp of the mechanism of anemia in non-ABO-incompatible HsCT and the temporal link between HsCT and anemia. Finding the cause of post-HsCT anemia is essential for prevention and therapy, in addition to a thorough grasp of the mechanism of anemia in non-ABO-incompatible HsCT and the temporal link between HsCT and anemia. Therefore, for that, it is crucial to identify the etiology of post-HsCT anemia. In this case report review, we would like to highlight the vital role of transfusion medicine services and stem cell clinical teams in paying particular attention to the clinical significance of non-ABO alloantibodies involved to avoid causing overt hemolysis of incompatible donor RBCs or delayed erythropoiesis. Considering the fact that some of the Haematopoietic stem cell transplant centers do not give an attention to the other non-ABO RBC antigens.

Experimental Evaluation of Medium-Voltage Cascode Gallium Nitride(GaN)Devices for Bidirectional DC-DC Converters

Wide bandgap(WBG)semiconductors,such as silicon carbide(siC)and gallium nitride(GaN),exhibit superior physical properties and demonstrate great potential for replacing conventional silicon(si)semiconductors with WBG technology,pushing the boundaries of power devices to handle higher blocking voltages,switching frequencies,output power levels,and operating ***,tradeoffs in switching performance and converter efficiency when substituting GaN devices for si and siC counterparts are not well-defined,especially in a cascode *** research with further detailed investigation and analysis is necessitated for medium-voltage GaN devices in power converter ***,the aim of this research is to experimentally investigate the impact of emerging 650/900 V cascode GaN devices on bidirectional dc-dc converters that are suitable for energy storage and distributed renewable energy *** characteristics of si,siC,and cascode GaN power devices are examined through the double-pulse test(DPT)circuit at different gate resistance values,device currents,and DC bus ***,the switching behavior and energy loss as well as the rate of voltage and current changes over the time are studied and analyzed at various operating conditions.A 500 W experimental converter prototype is implemented to validate the benefits of cascode GaN devices on the converter operation and *** analysis of the power losses and efficiency improvements for si-based,siC-based,and GaN-based converters are performed and evaluated as the switching frequency,working temperature,and output power level are *** experimental results reveal significant improvements in switching performance and energy efficiency from the emerging cascode GaN devices in the bidirectional converters.
