Terahertz(THz)emission spectroscopy(TEs)has emerged as a highly effective and versatile technique for investigating the photoelectric properties of diverse materials and nonlinear physical processes in the past few ***,research on two-dimensional(2D)materials has experienced substantial growth due to their atomically thin structures,exceptional mechanical and optoelectronic properties,and the potential for applications in flexible electronics,sensing,and ***,these materials offer advantages such as tunable bandgap,high carrier mobility,wideband optical absorption,and relatively short carrier *** applying TEs to investigate the 2D materials,their interfaces and heterostructures,rich information about the interplay among photons,charges,phonons and spins can be unfolded,which provides fundamental understanding for future *** it is timely to review the nonlinear processes underlying THz emission in 2D materials including optical rectification,photon-drag,high-order harmonic generation and spin-to-charge conversion,showcasing the rich diversity of the TEs employed to unravel the complex nature of these *** applications based on THz emissions,such as THz lasers,ultrafast imaging and biosensors,are also *** further,we analyzed the unique advantages of spintronic terahertz emitters and the future technological advancements in the development of new THz generation mechanisms leading to advanced THz sources characterized by wide bandwidth,high power and integration,suitable for industrial and commercial *** continuous advancement and integration of TEs with the study of 2D materials and heterostructures promise to revolutionize research in different areas,including basic materials physics,novel optoelectronic devices,and chips for post-Moore’s era.

In the 1960s, when apartments were being introduced in south Korea and were not yet standardized, diverse attempts at construction were made. However, due to factors such as the preference for houses that face south, apartment planning principles were unified. The present study intended to find out characteristics that can be applied to the current demands by studying cases of experimental plans among apartments, understanding the plans of courtyard apartments and classifying the cases into different types. The types of 29 courtyard apartments constructed in 1960-1970s in seoul were analyzed. The apartments were classified into complex types that refer to cases where many buildings form a courtyard, block types, and open types. 2017 Higher Education Press Limited Company. Modern agricultural machinery demands adoption of embedded electronic and remote sensing technology for precision *** of the electronic devices commonly used is the virtual terminal(VT) for tractors.A VT's functions and terminology are described in the IsO 11783 *** paper presents a control system design and implementation for a VT and some other electronic control units(ECUs) for agricultural vehicles based on that *** and software development for the VT is implemented using the IsOAgLib open library,in the advanced embedded *** main part of the system is an embedded board based on a samsung s3C6410 ARM11 core microprocessor with a controller area network(CAN) *** working environment is Windows Embedded CE 6.0(WinCE6.0).The IsOAgLib library provides abundant open sources consistent implementation of IsO *** is written in C++ programming language using object-oriented *** this paper,we describe an IsO 11783-based tractor control system with a CAN and its implementation in the embedded *** paper also explains the operation of a CAN-bus device driver in WinCE6.0 and some modifications of IsOAgLib for our target *** target system consists of the VT,an ECU for the global positioning system(GPs),and an ECU for lighting for an agricultural *** ECU for GPs and the ECU of a light controller are implemented using sTM32F107F ARM Cortex M3-based development boards.

solar energy is the most abundant source of energy for all the forms of life on the planet *** is also the basic source for all the sources of energy except nuclear *** panel systems are being installed all over the world now more than *** energy crisis is leading countries to develop more policies on the energy sector,especially creating incentives for renewable energies so that the production would slowly shift towards more environmentally sustainable *** in view the protection of natural resources,the power generation from the solar photovoltaic system is increasing day by day to meet the energy demand *** are constraints of the availability of space for ground-mounted solar PV system for large *** some countries,water bodies;such as lakes,ports,shores,and oceans;are being utilized to install a solar PV system to reduce land *** floating systems using plastics have been developed to install a solar panel on *** accumulation on solar photovoltaic modules reduces light transmission from the outer surfaces to the solar cells reducing photon absorption and thus contributing to performance reduction of PV *** regions such as the Middle East where dust is prevalent and rainfall is scarce,remedial measures are needed to reduce such impacts.1-Based on particle adhesion theory and fluid mechanics,the adhesion mechanics model and dust force model of dust particles in the air are established,and the dust is analyzed in combination with the physical parameters of the dust on the surface of the actual photovoltaic *** adhesion in the three cleaning modes,the size of the force,and the relationship between the compressed air flow required for dust removal and the radius and adhesion of the dust *** results show that the required velocity range of the compressed air dust is between 5～80 m/s,and the cleaning velocity is inversely proportional to the dust particle radius.2-Next a study

Ammonia (NH_(3)) plays a key role in the agricultural fertilizer and commodity chemical industries and is useful for exploring hydrogen storage *** electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) is receiving attention as an environmentally sustainable NH_(3) synthesis replacement for the traditional Haber–Bosch process owing to its near ambient reaction conditions (s NH_(3) yield and faradaic efficiency are extremely low because of the sluggish kinetics of N≡N bond dissociation and the hindrance from competitive hydrogen *** overcome these challenges,we herein introduce a dual-functionalized ionic liquid (1-(4-hydroxybutyl)-3-methylimidazolium hydroxide[HOBIM]OH) for a highly dispersed ruthenium oxide electrocatalyst to achieve a biased *** observed uniform distribution of RuO_(2) on the carbon fiber and increase in the surface area for N_(2) adsorption by limiting proton access can be attributed to the presence of imidazolium ***,extensive N_(2) adsorption contributes to enhanced NRR selectivity with an NH_(3) yield of 3.0×10^(-10)mol cm^(-2)s^(-1)(91.8μg h^(-1)mg^(-1)) and a faradaic efficiency of 2.2%at-0.20 V_(RHE).We expect our observations to provide new insights into the design of effective electrode structures for electrochemical NH;synthesis.

Background:Our understanding of any impacts of swans on other waterbirds(including other swans),and potential effects on waterbird community structure,remain limited by a paucity of fundamental behavioural and ecological data,including which species swans interact aggressively with and how frequently such interactions ***:Behavioural observations of aggression by swans and other waterbirds in winters 2018/2019 and 2019/2020,were carried out via live-streaming webcams at two wintering sites in the *** occurrence sampling was used to identify all aggressive interactions between conspecific or heterospecifics individuals,whilst focal observations were used to record the total time spent by swans on aggressive interactions with other *** tests were then used to assess whether the proportion of intraspecific aggressive interactions of each species differed from 0.5(which would indicate equal numbers of intraspecific and interspecific interactions).Zero-inflated generalized linear mixed effects models(ZIGLMMs)were used to assess between-individual variation in the total time spent by swans on aggressive interactions with other ***:All three swan species were most frequently aggressive towards,and received most aggression from,their *** 10-min focal observations showed that Whooper(Cygnus cygnus)and Bewick’s swans(*** bewickii)spent 13.8±4.7 s(means±95%CI)and 1.4±0.3 s,respectively,on aggression with other *** durations were equivalent to 2.3%and 0.2%of the Whooper and Bewick’s swan time-activity budgets,*** selection indicated that the time spent in aggressive interactions with other swans was best-explained by the number of other swans present for Whooper swans,and an interactive effect of time of day and winter of observation for Bewick’s ***,the relationship between swan numbers and Whooper swan aggression times was not strong(R2=19.3%).Conclusions:Whilst swans do exhibit some agg
