Mobile fog Computing by Using sDN/NfV on 5G Edge Nodes

Abstract:fog computing provides quality of service for cloud *** the data computation intensifies,edge computing becomes ***,mobile fog computing is used for reducing traffic and the time for data computation in the *** previous studies,software-defined networking(sDN)and network functions virtualization(NfV)were used separately in edge *** industrial and academic research is tackling to integrate sDN and NfV in different environments to address the challenges in performance,reliability,and ***/NfV is still in *** traditional Internet of things(IoT)data analysis system is only based on a linear and time-variant system that needs an IoT data system with a high-precision *** paper proposes a combined architecture of sDN and NfV on an edge node server for IoT devices to reduce the computational complexity in cloud-based fog *** provides a generalization structure of the forwarding plane,which is separated from the control ***,NfV concentrates on virtualization by combining the forwarding model with virtual network functions(VNfs)as a single or chain of VNfs,which leads to interoperability and *** orchestrator layer in the proposed software-defined NfV is responsible for handling real-time tasks by using an edge node server through the sDN controller via four actions:task creation,modification,operation,and *** proposed architecture is simulated on the EstiNet simulator,and total time delay,reliability,and satisfaction are used as evaluation *** simulation results are compared with the results of existing architectures,such as software-defined unified virtual monitoring function and AsTP,to analyze the performance of the proposed *** analysis results indicate that our proposed architecture achieves better performance in terms of total time delay(1800 s for 200 IoT devices),reliability(90%),and satisfaction(90%).

PREPARATION Of NANO-CRYsTALLINE fe-Cu THIN fILMs AND THEIR MAGNETIC PROPERTIEs

fe-Cu thin films of 0.2 mum in thickness with different Cu contents wereprepared by using r.f. magnetron sputtering onto glass substrate. The effect of sputteringparameters, including Ar gas pressure and input rf power, on the structure and magnetic propertieswas investigated. It was found that when the power is lower than 70W, the structure of the filmsremained single bcc-fe phase with Cu solubility of up to 50at. percent. TEM observations for thebcc-fe phase showed that the grain size was in the nanometer range of less than 20nm. The coercivityof fe- Cu films was largely affected by not only Ar gas pressure but also rf power, and reachedabout 2.5Oe in the pressure of 0.67-6.67Pa and in the power of less than 100W. In addition,saturation magnetization, with Cu content less than 60at. percent, was about proportional to thecontent of bcc-fe. When Cu content was at 60at. percent, however, saturation magnetization was muchsmaller than its calculation value.

The conventional Close circuit television(CCTV)cameras-based surveillance and control systems require human resource *** all the criminal activities take place using weapons mostly a handheld gun,revolver,pistol,swords ***,automatic weapons detection is a vital requirement now a *** current research is concerned about the real-time detection of weapons for the surveillance cameras with an implementation of weapon detection using Efficient–*** time datasets,from local surveillance department’s test sessions are used for model training and *** consist of local environment images and videos from different type and resolution cameras that minimize the *** research also contributes in the making of Efficient-Net that is experimented and results in a positive *** results are also been represented in graphs and in calculations for the representation of results during training and results after training are also shown to represent our research ***-Net algorithm gives better results than existing *** using Efficient-Net algorithms the accuracy achieved 98.12%when epochs increase as compared to other algorithms.

The corrosion fatigue behavior of stainless steel 3RE60 in 3.5%NaCl solution was studied at different cyclic stress levels. The results showed that both intergranular corrosion cracking and transgranular corrosion cracking initiated at the bottom of pits. The corrosion fatigue behavior of 3RE60 may be related to complex electrochemical and mechanical coupling effects between the three phases (austenite, ferrite and martensite), where martensite and ferrite were anodic in the corrosion cell and could be prone to crack under certain conditions.

MigroGrid(MG)has emerged to resolve the growing demand for *** because of its inconsistent output,it can result in various power quality(PQ)*** is a problem that is becoming more and more important for the reliability of power systems that use renewable energy ***,the employment of nonlinear loads will introduce harmonics into the system and,as a result,cause distortions in the current and voltage waveforms as well as low power quality issues in the supply ***,this research focuses on power quality enhancement in the MG using hybrid shunt ***,the performance of the filter mainly depends upon the design,and stability of the *** efficiency of the proposed filter is enhanced by incorporating an enhanced adaptive fuzzy neural network(AfNN)*** performance of the proposed topology is examined in a MATLAB/simulink environment,and experimental findings are provided to validate the effectiveness of this ***,the results of the proposed controller are compared with Adaptive fuzzy Back-stepping(AfBs)and Adaptive fuzzy sliding(Afs)to prove its superiority over power quality improvement in *** the analysis,it can be observed that the proposed system reduces the total harmonic distortion by about 1.8%,which is less than the acceptable limit standard.

Experimental and numerical investigations of bonding interface behavior in stationary shoulder friction stir lap welding

stationary shoulder friction stir lap welding(ssfsLW) was employed to weld 2024 aluminum alloy. A coupled Eulerian-Lagrangian(CEL) model was developed to investigate the lap interface behavior during ssfsLW. Numerical results of material movement and equivalent plastic strain were in good agreement with the experimental work. With increasing welding speed, the distances from the hook tip to the top surface of the upper workpiece on the retreating side(Rs) and the advancing side(As) increase, while the distance between two wave-shaped alclads decreases. A symmetric interface bending is observed on the As and the Rs during plunging, while the interface bending on the As is bigger than that on the Rs during welding. The peak temperature of the interface on the As is higher than that on the Rs. The equivalent plastic strain gradually increases as the distance to the weld center decreases, and its peak value is obtained near the bottom of the weld.

Is PAWP the ＂real＂ sperm factor？

Mammalian embryo development is initiated by intracellular Ca2＋ oscillations that result in oocyte activation following gamete membrane fusion. It is widely believed that oocyte Ca2＋ oscillations are triggered by a sperm-specific protein, phospholipase C-zeta （PLCζ） that activates InsP3 production leading to repetitive Ca2. release from intracellular stores. However, a recent report in the fAsEB Journal by Aarabi et al. challenges this view by proposing postacrosomal WW domain-binding protein （PAWP） as another sperm-derived protein that can also initiate Ca2＋ oscillations and zygotic development at fertilization. Here we discuss these new findings and examine the evidence suggesting PAWP as the ＂real＂ sperm factor.

Computer-aided morphometry of liver inflammation in needle biopsies

AIM: To introduce a computer-aided morphometric method for quantifying the necro-inflammatory phase in liver biopsy specimens using fractal geometry and Delaunay's ***: Two-micrometer thick biopsy sections taken from 78 chronic hepatitis C virus-infected patients were immunohistochemically treated to identify the inflammatory cells. An automatic computer-aided image analysis system was used to define the inflammatory cell network defined on the basis of Delaunay's triangulation,and the inflammatory cells were geometrically classified as forming a cluster (an aggregation of a minimum of three cells) or as being irregularly distributed within the tissue. The phase of inflammatory activity was estimated using Hurst's ***: The proposed automatic method was rapid and objective. It could not only provide rigorous results expressed by scalar numbers, but also allow the state of the whole organ to be represented by Hurst's exponent with an error of no more than 12%.CONCLUsION: The availability of rigorous metrical measures and the reasonable representativeness of the status of the organ as a whole raise the question as to whether the indication for hepatic biopsy should be revised by establishing clear rules concerning the contraindications suggested by its invasiveness and subjective interpretation.

The Interannual Variability of East Asian Winter Monsoon and Its Relation to the summer Monsoon

Based on the NCEP/ NCAR reanalysis data the interannual variability of the East Asian winter mon-soon (EAWM) is studied with a newly defined EAWM intensity index. The marked features for a strong (weak) winter monsoon include strong (weak) northerly winds along coastal East Asia, cold (warm) East Asian continent and surrounding sea and warm (cold) ocean from the subtropical central Pacific to the trop-ical western Pacific, high (low) pressure in East Asian continent and low (high) pressure in the adjacent ocean and deep (weak) East Asian trough at 500 hPa. These interannual variations are shown to be closely connected to the ssT anomaly in the tropical Pacific, both in the western and eastern Pacific. The results suggest that the strength of the EAWM is mainly influenced by the processes associated with the ssT anom-aly over the tropical Pacific. The EAWM generally becomes weak when there is a positive ssT anomaly in the tropical eastern Pacific (El Ni?o), and it becomes strong when there is a negative ssT anomaly (La Ni?a). Moreover, the ssT anomaly in the south China sea is found to be closely related to the EAWM and may persist to the following summer. Both the circulation at 850 hPa and the rainfall in China confirm the connection between the EAWM and the following East Asian summer monsoon. The possible reason for the recent 1998 summer flood in China is briefly discussed too. Vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene copolymer films of molar ratio 70/30 with thickness of about 1μm have been deposited from solution in ethyl methyl ketone to a glass substrate with an aluminum electrode by spin *** solution has been filtrated through a PTfE membrane filter with pore size 0.2μm directly before spin coating or it has been used as is(unfiltrated).After deposition of a top electrode,the samples have been polarized by hysteresis loops with an electric field amplitude of about 100 V/μ*** samples,annealed at temperature 145°C for 3 h,a high remanent polarization of about 7.5μC/cm2 has been achieved,without significant differences between samples fabricated of filtrated or unfiltrated *** lamella are growing in films fabricated of filtrated solution when they are heated above the melting temperature to 159°C for 3 min before the further annealing process at 145°*** films show substantially lower remanent polarization below 4μC/*** images recorded with a pyroelectric laser scanning microscope show that the spherulites have very small pyroelectric activity,i.e.,the spherulites consist of flat-on *** contrast,no spherulitic lamella are growing in films fabricated of unfiltrated solution heated above the melting temperature,melted and annealed under the same *** explanation for this observation is that filtrating changes the structure of the copolymer in solution from polymer coil to *** rods deposited on a substrate will crystallize in flat-on lamella when heated above the melting temperature,in contrast to copolymer coils which crystallize in edge-on lamella.
