Microstructure and alloy element distribution in the welded joint between austenitic stainless steel (1Cr18Ni9Ti) and pearlitic heat-resistant steel (1Cr5Mo) were researched by means of light microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (seM) and electron probe microanalysis (ePMA). Microstructure, divisions of the fusion zone and elemental diffusion distributions in the welded joints were investigated. Furthermore, solidification microstructure and s-ferrite distribution in the weld metal of these steels are also discussed.

The sensitive data stored in the public cloud by privileged users,such as corporate companies and government agencies are highly vulnerable in the hands of cloud providers and *** proposed Virtual Cloud storage Archi-tecture is primarily concerned with data integrity and conﬁdentiality,as well as *** provide conﬁdentiality and availability,theﬁle to be stored in cloud storage should be encrypted using an auto-generated key and then encoded into distinct *** the encoded chunks ensured theﬁle integrity,and a newly proposed Circular shift Chunk Allocation technique was used to determine the order of chunk ***ﬁle could be retrieved by performing the opera-tions in *** the regenerating code,the model could regenerate the missing and corrupted chunks from the *** proposed architecture adds an extra layer of security while maintaining a reasonable response time and sto-rage *** results analysis show that the proposed model has been tested with storage space and response time for storage and *** VCsA model consumes 1.5x(150%)storage *** was found that total storage required for the VCsA model is very low when compared with 2x Replication and completely satisﬁes the CIA *** response time VCsA model was tested with different sizedﬁles starting from 2 to 16 *** response time for storing and retrieving a 2 MBﬁle is 4.96 and 3.77 s respectively,and for a 16 MBﬁle,the response times are 11.06 s for storage and 5.6 s for retrieval.

Although testing wastewater for public health surveillance has recently received significant attention in the United states,researchers and public health professionals have long realized the tremendous promise of environmental surveillance(es),defined as tracking pathogens of interest in fecally contaminated surface waters,soil,or fomites,in low-resource settings for public health action.1,2 The power of es in lowresource settings is most clearly illustrated with the over 30 years of well-established and standardized polio *** part of the Global Polio eradication Initiative,the World Health Organization(WHO)has accredited 146 laboratories within the Global Polio Lab Network(GPLN).These facilities across 92 countries process over 8,000 wastewater or fecally contaminated surface water samples per year,in addition to over 220,000 stool samples annually.3 The data generated from the GPLN are closely linked to clear public health action related to targeted vaccination *** investment and adoption of es for polio eradication efforts serves as a use-case for other targets of *** explore the current state of the field,the National science Foundation-funded Research Coordination Network(RCN)on Wastewater Based epidemiology for sARs-CoV-2 and emerging Public Health Threats held a workshop in December 2023 to discuss the opportunities and challenges for es in low-resource settings(Figure 1).Discussions during the workshop highlighted knowledge gaps,best-practices,target selection,academic/government/private partnerships and overall public health action and sustainability of these programs.

Background: The actual cause of Gestational gigantomastia (Gg) remains a dilemma. Its treatment has ideally been surgical, employing most commonly the different pedicle techniques in the last decade. Aim: This paper reviews the literature on the management of Gg using the inferior pedicle technique (IPT) and supports it with a successful case presentation using the IPT. Method: Using the PubMed search engine and Google scholar, literature search was done for Gg treated with the inferior pedicle reduction method. Published literature from other sources was also included. Data obtained was cleaned and analysed. The inferior pedicle breast reduction technique was employed without any modification in the normal procedure for the case presented. Results: Thirty-one literature addressing Gg and IPT were identified. Most surgeons use this technique with very good outcomes. Our patient confirmed reduced breast mould, firm and adolescent looking breast with no back, shoulder, neck and rib pains. she also experienced with time increased nipple areolar sensation, ability to undertake all tasks with ease and a new sense of confidence. Conclusion: The inferior pedicle breast reduction technique can be the standard treatment for gestational gigantomastia with the length from suprasternal notch to the nipple ≤ 50 cm that present without any anatomical complications.

Competitive expression of endogenous Wheat CeNH3 May Lead to suppression of Alien ZmCeNH3 in Transgenic Wheat × Maize Hybrids

Uniparental chromosome elimination in wheat × maize hybrid embryos is widely used in double haploid production of wheat. several explanations have been proposed for this phenomenon, one of which is that the lack of cross-species CeNH3 incorporation may act as a barrier to interspecies hybridization. However, it is unknown if this mechanism applies universally. To study the role of CeNH3 in maize chromosome elimination of wheat x maize hybrid embryos,？cos, maize ZmCeNH3 and wheat aTaCeNH3-B driven by the constitutive CaMV35s promoter were transformed into wheat variety Yangmai 158. Five transgenic lines for ZmCeNH3 and six transgenic lines for ctTaCeNH3-B were identified. RT-PCP analysis showed that the transgene could be transcribed at a low level in all ZmCeNH3 transgenic lines, whereas transcription of endogenous wheat CeNH3 was significantly up-regulated. Interestingly, the expression levels of both wheat CeNH3 and ZmCeNH3 in the ZmCeNH3 transgenic wheat × maize hybrid embryos were higher than those in the non-transformed Yangmai 158 × maize hybrid embryos. This indicates that the alien ZmCeNH3 in wheat may induce competitive expression of endogenous wheat CeNH3, leading to suppression of ZmCeNH3 over-expression. eliminations of maize chromosomes in hybrid embryos of ZmCeNH3 transgenic wheat ×maize and Yangmai 158 x maize were compared by observations on micronuelei presence, by marker analysis using maize ssRs （simple sequence repeats）, and by FIsH （fluorescence in situ hybridization） using 45s rDNA as a probe. The results indicate that maize chromosome elimination events in the two crosses are not sigmficantly different. Fusion protein ZmCeNH3- YFP could not be detected in ZmCeNH3 transgenic wheat by either Western blotting or immnunostaining, whereas accumulation and loading of the αTaCeNH3-B-GFP fusion protein was normal in aTaCeNH3-B transgenic lines. On the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,extreme environmental conditions have imposed intense selective pressure on the evolution of phenotypic traits of wild *** date,limited information is available on behavioral and ecological traits concerning niche differentiation among sympatric animals on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,especially during winter when the environments are most ***,we studied the seasonal variations in habitat occurrence,territorial behavior,and diet in two sympatric snow finches(the white-rumped snow finch,Onychostruthus taczanowskii,WRsF;and the rufous-necked snow finch,Pyrgilauda ruficollis,RNsF)to determine convergence and divergence of ecological traits in such severe climatic *** results showed that:(i)WRsF occupied rural areas as a dominant species throughout the annual cycle while RNsF occupied the rural areas in summer and then shifted to human-occupied areas in winter and spring;(ii)WRsFs exhibited robust aggressive behavior and territoriality during winter relative to RNsFs;(iii)the diets of both species varied with the season but did not vary between species except that WRsF ate significantly more seeds but RNsF consumed more starchy material derived from human food waste during ***,the separations in the spatial niche and territoriality between WRsF and RNsF,especially in winter,may contribute to alleviating the pressure of interspecific competition,and promoting the coexistence of the two sympatric snow finches in the extreme environments on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

Tocopherol sources in diets are often a combination of all-rac-a-tocopheryl acetate(synthetic a-tocopherol)from vitamin supplements and natural tocopherols and 2R-(4’R,8’R)-5,7,8-trimethyltocotrienol(a-tocotrienols)from the feed *** a-tocopherol consists of 8 different stereoisomers including 2R-(4’R,8’R)-5,7,8-trimethyltocol(RRR-a-tocopherol),2R-(4’s,8’R)-5,7,8-trimethyltocol(RsR-a-tocopherol),2R-(4’R,8’s)-5,7,8-trimethyltocol(RRs-a-tocopherol),2R-(4’s,8’s)-5,7,8-trimethyltocol(Rss-a-tocopherol),2s-(4’s,8’s)-5,7,8-trimethyltocol(sss-a-tocopherol),2s-(4’R,8’s)-5,7,8-trimethyltocol(sRs-a-tocopherol),2s-(4’s,8’R)-5,7,8-trimethyltocol(ssR-a-tocopherol),and2s-(4’R,8’R)-5,7,8-trimethyltocol(sRR-a-tocopherol).The pre-absorption metabolism of tocopherols and tocotrienols in ruminants differs from monogastric animals due to the extensive microbial fermentation in the anaerobic *** current study investigated the impact of toasting and decortication of oats on metabolism in the digestive tract(synthesis,digestion),and intestinal digestibility of tocopherols in dairy cows by using 4 ruminal and intestinal cannulated Danish Holstein cows in a 4×4 Latin square design for 4 *** were fed a total mixed ration ad libitum containing different forms of oats:whole oat,decorticated oat,toasted oat,and decorticated toasted oat,all rolled before mixed *** means across 4 treatments were statistically analyzed,testing whether overall means were different from *** or toasting did not affect the balance or digestibility of a-tocopherols in *** across treatments showed the ruminal degradation of synthetic a-tocopherol(279 mg/d,P=0.02;P-value shows that average across treatments is different from zero),synthetic 2R-a-tocopherol(133 mg/d,Psummation of RRs-,RsR-and Rss-a-tocopherol),and 2s-a-tocopherol(190 mg/d;Psummation of sss-,sRs-,ssR,and sRR-a-tocopherol),while RRR-a-tocopherol was formed in the rumen(221 mg/d,P=0.1

Nanoparticle-based theranostics has served as a preferential technology for diagnosis and treatment of ***,there are still massive challenges in constructing the ideal platform,which hopefully integrate various characteristics such as easy preparation,multiple utilization,and high therapeutic effect and safety into a single ***,we reported a drug delivery system-based on natural silk fibroin(denoted as sF NPs),and systematically evaluated the physicochemi-cal properties,biological properties and the biosafety assessment of sF *** in vitro and in vivo experimental results confirmed that sF NPs showed high stability,low blood hemolysis and the universal delivery ability of ***,the sF NPs could rapidly enter into cells due to its nanoscale size,and had a weak cytotoxicity against MCF-7,4T1 and L929 ***,the sF NPs showed enhanced tumor permeability in a simulative model of multicellular spheroids,combined with excellent in vivo biosafety and the negligible organ injury,demonstrate that sF-based nanomedicine presents the utilization potentiality for drug delivery and may provide a new view for cancer treatment.

Generating hydrogen gas from biomass is one approach to lowering dependencies on fossil fuels for energy and chemical feedstock, as well as reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Using both equilibrium simulations and batch experiments with NaOH as a model alkaline, this study established the technical feasibility of converting various biomasses （e.g., glucose, cellulose, xylan and lignin） into H2-rich gas via catalyst-free, alkali-thermal gasification at moderate temperatures （as low as 300℃）. This process could produce more H2 with less carbon-containing gases in the product than other comparable methods. It was shown that alkali-thermal gasification follows CxHyO2 ＋ 2xNaOH ＋（x-z）H20 = （2x＋y/2-z）H2 ＋xNa2CO3, with carbonate being the solid product which is different from the one suggested in the literature. Moreover, the concept of hydrogen genera- tion potential （H2-GP）-the maximum amount of H2 that a biomass can yield, was introduced. For a given biomass CxHyO2, the H2-GP would be （2x ＋ y/2-z） moles of H2. It was demonstrated experimentally that the H2-GP was achievable by adjusting the amounts of H20 and NaOH, temperature and pressure.
