Vagus nerve stimulation(VNs)and stroke:stroke is the second leading cause of death and the third leading cause of disability worldwide(Baig et al.,2023).There have been significant paradigm shifts in the management of acute ischemic stroke through mechanical *** chronic ischemic stroke,invasive VNs paired with rehabilitation is associated with a significant increase in upper limb motor recovery and is FDA-approved(Baig et al.,2023).There are no treatments of similar efficacy in acute intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH)where several promising trials,e.g.,TICH-2,sTOP-AUsT,and TRAIGE did not show improvements in functional outcomes(Puy et al.,2023).

security and safety remain paramount concerns for both governments and individuals *** today’s context,the frequency of crimes and terrorist attacks is alarmingly increasing,becoming increasingly intolerable to ***,there is a pressing need for swift identification of potential threats to preemptively alert law enforcement and security forces,thereby preventing potential attacks or violent *** advancements in big data analytics and deep learning have significantly enhanced the capabilities of computer vision in object detection,particularly in identifying *** paper introduces a novel automatic firearm detection surveillance system,utilizing a one-stage detection approach named MARIE(Mechanism for Realtime Identification of Firearms).MARIE incorporates the single shot Multibox Detector(ssD)model,which has been specifically optimized to balance the speed-accuracy trade-off critical in firearm detection *** ssD model was further refined by integrating MobileNetV2 and InceptionV2 architectures for superior feature extraction *** experimental results demonstrate that this modified ssD configuration provides highly satisfactory performance,surpassing existing methods trained on the same dataset in terms of the critical speedaccuracy *** these innovations,MARIE sets a new standard in surveillance technology,offering a robust solution to enhance public safety effectively.

Intrusion detection system plays an important role in defending networks from security ***-to-end machine learning-based intrusion detection systems are being used to achieve high detection ***,in case of adversarial attacks,that cause misclassification by introducing imperceptible perturbation on input samples,performance of machine learning-based intrusion detection systems is greatly *** such problems have widely been discus.ed in image processing domain,very few studies have investigated network intrusion detection systems and proposed corresponding *** this paper,we attempt to fill this gap by using adversarial attacks on standard intrusion detection datasets and then using adversarial samples to train various machine learning algorithms(adversarial training)to test their defence *** is achieved by first creating adversarial sample based on Jacobian-based saliency Map Attack(JsMA)and Fast Gradient sign Attack(FGsM)using NsLKDD,UNsW-NB15 and CICIDs17 *** study then trains and tests JsMA and FGsM based adversarial examples in seen(where model has been trained on adversarial samples)and unseen(where model is unaware of adversarial packets)*** experiments includes multiple machine learning classifiers to evaluate their performance against adversarial *** performance parameters include Accuracy,F1-score and Area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC)score.

OBJECTIVE： Plants produce a variety of useful bio- active materials that have been used to cure differ- ent ailments of human beings. With the same idea in mind, the crude methanolic extract and various fractions of solanum surrattense were screened for antibacterial, antifungal, phytotoxic and heamag- glutination activities. METHODs： standardized assays were followed for the determination of antibacterial, antifungal phy- totoxic and heamagglutination activity. REsULTs： The results of the antibacterial showed that crude methanolic extract was significantly ac- tive against staphylococcus aureus （86%） The n- hexane fraction showed good activity against Pseu- domonas aerogenosa （66.6%） and Bacillus subtilus （66.6%）. The crude methanolic extract and various fractions were inactive against all test fungi. The crude methanolic extract, n-hexane, CHCI3 and aqueous fractions showed moderate phytotoxic ac- tivities of 46.67%, 40.00%, 33.34% and 33.34% re- spectively at 1000 pg/mL. The crude methanolic ex- tract and various fractions s. surrattense were un- able to aqqlutinate RBCs of the human blood indi-cating that this species lack phytolectins. CONCLUsION： The test sample showed significant antibacterial activity, no antifungal and heamagglu- tination activity while moderate phytotoxic was ob- served against Lemna minor L.

Along with conventional methods,this paper proposed a method in which ID and 3D models are integrated to identify the self-sourced reservoir potential of the Farewell Formation in the Kupe Gas Field within the Taranaki Basin,New *** rock characteristics were evaluated at both field and basin scales by investigating source rock maturity,type of organic matter,and hydrocarbon generation potential by rock pyrolysis,using Rock-Eval 2 and *** ID thermal and burial history model establis.ed the rate of sedimentation and thermal history of the Kupe 4 *** characterization at field-scale was determined by seismic interpretation,well log analysis,and 3D structural and petrophysical *** sediments of the Farewell Formation contain types Ⅱ-Ⅲ(oil/gas prone)and type Ⅲ(gas prone)and have fair-to-excellent generation *** oxygen and hydrogen indices ranged from 3 to 476 mg C0_(2)/g TOC and 26 to 356 mg HC/g TOC,respectively,whereas the thermal maturity determined by vitrinite reflectance values ranged between 0.3%and 0.72%,indicating that the Farewell Formation is in immature-to-mature hydrocarbon generation ***,Farewell Formation was verified to be a good source ***,structural interpretations demonstrated the structural complexity of an extensional and contractional regime within the reservoir *** faults indicated a good reservoir property there with a trapping mechanism as well as migration paths.A well-log-based petrophysical analysis establis.ed the presence of up to 70%hydrocarbon saturation within the pore spaces of Farewell *** 3D models confirmed that the Farewell Formation has significant sand zones and hydrocarbon-saturated zones,thereby proving its very good reservoir *** has been proved that the ID and 3D structural schemes,integrated with geological techniques,was vital in identifying the Kupe Field as a self-sourced reservoir.

Ce-doped WO_(3) nanoparticles were successfully synthesized by the sol-gel method and characterized through advanced characterization *** high resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM)and scanning electron microscopy(sEM)results show a reduction in the agglomeration of nanoparticles upon *** energy dispersive X-ray(edX)analysis validates the existence of the Ce element in all the doped samples.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPs)and Raman spectra justify the presence of structural defects(oxygen vacancies)and successful formation of the monoclinic WO_(3) phase,*** Kubelka-Munk function indicates a decrease in band gap with doping,while photoluminescence(PL)spectra show intense visible and UV emissions,significantly,all doped samples exhibit higher photocatalytic performance than pure WO_(3) nanoparticles,with the 6 wt%Ce-doped sample displaying the highest degradation *** with Ce can help to increase the surface area of WO_(3),thereby improving its photoactivity,Moreover,a correlation between PL and photocatalysis is establis.ed in the light of oxygen vacancies suggesting a direct dependence of high photocatalytic activity on strong PL signals of WO_(3) *** experiments further reveal that the degradation process is primarily driven by active species,providing insight into a plausible photocatalytic mechanism.
