Alzheimer’s disease(AD)is a neurodevelopmental impairment that results in a person’s behavior,thinking,and memory *** common symptoms ofADare losingmemory and early *** addition to these,there are several serious impacts ***,the impact ofADcanbemitigatedby early-stagedetection though it cannot be cured ***-stage detection is the most challenging task for controlling and mitigating the impact of *** study proposes a predictive model to detect AD in the initial phase based on machine learning and a deep learning approach to address the *** build a predictive model,open-source data was collected where five stages of images of AD were available as Cognitive Normal(CN),Early Mild Cognitive Impairment(EMCI),Mild Cognitive Impairment(MCI),Late Mild Cognitive Impairment(LMCI),and *** stage of AD is considered as a class,and then the dataset was divided into three parts binary class,three class,and five *** this research,we applied different preprocessing steps with augmentation techniques to efficiently *** integrates a random oversampling technique to handle the imbalance problem from target classes,mitigating the model overfitting and *** three machine learning classifiers,such as random forest(RF),K-Nearest neighbor(KNN),and support vector machine(sVM),and two deep learning methods,such as convolutional neuronal network(CNN)and artificial neural network(ANN)were applied on these *** analyzing the performance of the used models and the datasets,it is found that CNN with binary class outperformed 88.20%*** result of the study indicates that the model is highly potential to detect AD in the initial phase.

We have studied the dynamic and static processes occurring in disordered multiparticle colloidal Ag aggregates with natural structure and affecting their plasmonic absorption spectra under pico-and nanosecond pulsed laser radiations, as well as the physical origin responsible for these processes. We have shown that depending on the duration of the laser pulse,the mechanisms of laser modification of such aggregates can be associated both with changes in the resonant properties of the particles due to their heating and melting(picosecond irradiation mode) and with the particle shifts in the resonant domains of the aggregates(nanosecond pulses) which depend on the wavelength, intensity, and polarization of the *** mechanisms result in formation of a narrow dip in the plasmonic absorption spectrum of the aggregates near the laser radiation wavelength and affect the shape and position of the dip. The effect of polydispersity of nanoparticle aggregates on laser photochromic reaction has been studied.

sol-gel processed alumina(Al_(2)O_(3))thin film has been investigated for sensing *** sensor was based on ordered nanoporous Al_(2)O_(3)thin film,which consisted of gold electrodes on both sides of the film forming parallel plate *** substrate was used for supporting thin film moisture *** was achieved by controlling the surface energy of the substrate and polymer(polyvinyl alcohol(PVA))optimization was done for developing rigid thin film over it.A high change in capacitance was observed as the moisture level increased from 5 ppmV to 500 *** electron microscopy(sEM)results revealed that pores were distributed uniformly throughout the sample,which enhanced the adsorption of water molecule over the film.X-ray diffraction(XRD)study clearly confirmed the gamma(γ)phase of alumina thin *** was found that the sensitivity of our sensor was suitable for commercial application.

Linear and non-linear properties of ion acoustic wave （IAW） propagating in a two-electron temperature plasma are investigated from both analytical and numerical perspectives by employing the fluid theory. A one-dimensional modified Korteweg de Vries equation is derived for the IAW using the reductive perturbative technique in a nonplanar geometry. It is observed that the ion acoustic soliton in a two-temperature plasma admits rarefactive （dip like） solitons. In the limit that the cold electron population goes to zero, it is observed that the ion acoustic soliton yields compressive （hump like） solitons. The variation of the ion acoustic soliton with different plasma parameters is also shown. The present investigation may be beneficial to explain some aspects of ion acoustic rarefactive solitary structures observed in space environments where two-electron temperature plasmas have been observed.

Discontinuities are an inherent part of the rock mass and majorly affect the stability of the excavation skin and *** dip of the discontinuities and their properties also have a significant effect on the strength of the *** approaches are commonly used to determine the pillar strength but can overestimate the strength and don’t consider the inclination of the pillars and the strength reduction caused by *** modeling is a powerful tool and if calibrated can be used to evaluate the strength of the pillars with discontinuities having a range of *** effect of a discontinuity on inclined pillars was conducted which has been seldom considered in evaluating the pillar ***-dimensional vertical pillars were simulated,and the pillar strength was calibrated to accepted theoretical results and then the discontinuities were introduced in different pillar inclinations with distinct width to height ratios to gain an insight into the effective pillar strength *** upon the results,it was found that the discontinuities have a significant effect with the increase in the inclination of the pillars even at a higher width to height ratios.

A novel combined method for the formation of composite coatings on the Mg-Mn-Ce alloy is *** like matrix was formed on the Mg alloy surface by the plasma electrolytic *** the samples were subsequently processed by dip-coating in an alcohol suspension of superdispersed polytetrafluoroethylene and spraying with the tetrafluoroethylene telomers ***,OsP,and sPM was used to study structure of formed *** was established by measurements of CA and CAH,as well as surface free energy calculations that formed coatings demonstrate superhydrophobic properties due to the presence of an irregular hierarchical surface structure and low surface free energy of *** coating preserves its hydrophobic properties after exposure to high and low temperatures,for a long time as well as being in corrosive *** and XRD data analysis confirmed the presence of organofluorine compounds in the composite layers,including in the form of crystalline *** potentiodynamic polarization test and EIs,it was found that the resulting coatings significantly increase the corrosion resistance of Mg *** data are also confirmed by salt spray tests for 40 *** of fluoropolymers additionally decrease coatings coefficient of friction.

The corrosion behavior of hot dip galvanized steel pretrvated with bis-[triethoxysilylpropyl] tetrasulfide （BTEsPT） modified with alumina particles was studied. The corrosion resistance of the passiving films was evaluated by Tafel polarization curve and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The films formed on the galvanized steel substrate were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry. The surface morphology of the treated hot dip galvanized steel samples was observed by Field Emission scanning Electron Microscope. The results show that the pretrvatments on the basis of silane films modified with nanoalumina particles have reduced both anodic and cathodic current densities, and increased total impedance in the measured frequency, consequently, improving corrosion protection for hot dip galvanized steel during immersion in NaCl solutions compared to chromate films and silane films.

The boundary layer flow of a nanofluid past a stretching/shrinking sheet with hydrodynamic and thermal slip boundary conditions is studied. Numerical solutions to the governing equations are obtained using a shooting method. The results are found for the skin friction coefficient, the local Nusselt number, and the local sherwood number as well as the velocity, temperature, and concentration profiles for some values of the velocity slip parameter, thermal slip parameter, stretching/shrinking parameter, thermophoresis parameter, and Brownian motion parameter. The results show that the local Nusselt number, which represents the heat transfer rate, is lower for higher values of thermal slip parameter, thermophoresis parameter, and Brownian motion parameter.
