Emerging two-dimensional MXenes have been extensively studied in a wide range of fields thanks to their superior electrical and hydrophilic attributes as well as excellent chemical stability and mechanical *** them,the ultrahigh electrical conductivity(σ)and tunable band structures of benchmark Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene demonstrate its good potential as thermoelectric(TE)***,both the large variation ofσreported in the literature and the intrinsically low seebeck coefficient(s)hinder the practical ***,this study has for the first time systematically investigated the TE properties of neat Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) films,which are finely modulated by exploiting different dispersing solvents,controlling nanosheet sizes and constructing ***,deionized water is found to be superior for obtaining closely packed MXene sheets relative to other polar ***,a simultaneous increase in both s andσis realized via elevating centrifugal speed on MXene aqueous suspensions to obtain small-sized nanosheets,thus yielding an ultrahigh power factor up to~156μW m^(-1) K^(-2).Third,s is significantly enhanced yet accompanied by a reduction inσwhen constructing MXene-based nanocomposites,the latter of which is originated from the damage to the intimate stackings of MXene ***,a correlation between the TE properties of neat Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) films and the stacking of nanosheets is elucidated,which would stimulate further exploration of MXene TEs.

With the widespread use of upper gastrointestinal endoscopy,more and more gastric polyps(GPs)are being *** management strategies often rely on histopathologic examination,which can be time-consuming and may not guide immediate clinical *** paper aims to introduce a novel classification system for GPs based on their potential risk of malignant transformation,categorizing them as"good","bad",and"ugly".A review of the literature and clinical case analysis were conducted to explore the clinical implications,management strategies,and the system's application in endoscopic *** polyps,mainly including fundic gland polyps and inflammatory fibrous polyps,have a low risk of malignancy and typically require minimal or no *** polyps,mainly including hyperplastic polyps and adenomas,pose an intermediate risk of malignancy,necessitating closer monitoring or *** polyps,mainly including type 3 neuroendocrine tumors and early gastric cancer,indicate a high potential for malignancy and require urgent and comprehensive *** new classification system provides a simplified and practical framework for diagnosing and managing GPs,improving diagnostic accuracy,guiding individualized treatment,and promoting advancements in endoscopic *** some challenges,such as the risk of misclassification due to similar endoscopic appearances,this system is essential for the standardized management of *** also lays the foundation for future research into biomarkers and the development of personalized medicine.

Ischemic stroke is a secondary cause of mortality worldwide,imposing considerable medical and economic burdens on *** vesicles,serving as natural nanocarriers for drug delivery,exhibit excellent biocompatibility in vivo and have significant advantages in the management of ischemic ***,the uncertain distribution and rapid clearance of extracellular vesicles impede their delivery *** utilizing membrane decoration or by encapsulating therapeutic cargo within extracellular vesicles,their delivery efficacy may be greatly ***,previous studies have indicated that microvesicles,a subset of large-sized extracellular vesicles,can transport mitochondria to neighboring cells,thereby aiding in the restoration of mitochondrial function post-ischemic *** extracellular vesicles have also demonstrated the capability to transfer mitochondrial components,such as proteins or deoxyribonucleic acid,or their sub-components,for extracellular vesicle-based ischemic stroke *** this review,we undertake a comparative analysis of the isolation techniques employed for extracellular vesicles and present an overview of the current dominant extracellular vesicle modification *** the complex facets of treating ischemic stroke,we also delineate various extracellular vesicle modification approaches which are suited to different facets of the treatment ***,given the burgeoning interest in mitochondrial delivery,we delved into the feasibility and existing research findings on the transportation of mitochondrial fractions or intact mitochondria through small extracellular vesicles and microvesicles to offer a fresh perspective on ischemic stroke therapy.

Themulti-soil-layering(MsL)systems is an emerging solution for environmentally-friendly and cost-effective treatment of decentralized rural domestic ***,the role of the seemingly simple permeable layer has been overlooked,potentially holding the breakthroughs or directions to addressing suboptimal nitrogen removal performance in MsL *** this paper,the mechanism among diverse substrates(zeolite,green zeolite and biological ceramsite)coupled microorganisms in different systems(activated bacterial powder and activated sludge)for rural domestic wastewater purification was *** removal efficiencies performed by zeolite coupled with microorganisms within 3 days were 93.8%for COD,97.1%for TP,and 98.8%for NH_(4)^(+)-***,activated sludge showed better nitrification and comprehensive performance than specialized nitrifying bacteria *** attained an impressive 89.4%NH4+-N desorption efficiency,with a substantive fraction of NH_(4)^(+)-N manifesting as exchanged ***-throughput 16s rRNA gene sequencing revealed that aerobic and parthenogenetic anaerobic bacteria dominated the reactor,with anaerobic bacteria conspicuously *** the heterotrophic nitrificationaerobic denitrification(HN-AD)process was significant,with the presence of denitrifying phosphorus-accumulating organisms(DPAOs)for simultaneous nitrogen and phosphorus *** study not only raises awareness about the importance of the permeable layer and enhances comprehension of the HN-AD mechanism in MsL systems,but also provides valuable insights for optimizing MsL system construction,operation,and rural domestic wastewater treatment.

Background:Resilience is crucial for medical college students to thrive in the highly stressful environment of medical ***,the prevalence of problematic internet use(PIU)in this population may negatively impact their *** study investigated the influence of problematic online gaming(PG)and problematic social media use(PsMU)on the resilience of medical college students in ***:A sample of 5075 first-year medical college students from four Chinese universities was *** served as the independent variable,resilience as the dependent variable,fatigue as the mediator,and PsMU as the *** equation modeling was conducted using LIsREL ***,a moderated mediation model was evaluated using the jAMM module in jamovi ***:The study’s findings revealed significant negative correlations between resilience and the variables of PG,PsMU,and *** mediated the relationship between PG and resilience(B=−0.04,95%CI=[−0.05,−0.03]).PsMU moderated the direct relationship between PG and resilience with the interaction term PG×PsMU significant(B=−0.004,t=−6.501,pst stage(PG→fatigue)of the mediation with PG×PsMU significant(B=0.055,t=8.351,ps of PG on resilience were more pronounced among individuals with lower levels of ***:This study concluded that addressing PIU,particularly PG,is essential for fostering resilience in medical college *** PsMU itself is maladaptive,the underlying social media engagement may serve a protective role through social support in mitigating the adverse effects of PG on resilience.

This paper proposes a lightweight reinforcement network (LRN) and auxiliary label distribution learning (ALDL)based robust facial expression recognition (FER) *** designed representation reinforcement (RR) network mainly comprises two modules,i.e.,the RR module and the auxiliary label space construction (ALsC) *** RR module highlights key feature messaging nodes in feature maps,and ALsC allows multiple labels with different intensities to be linked to one ***,LRN has a more robust feature extraction capability when model parameters are greatly reduced,and ALDL is proposed to contribute to the training effect of LRN in the condition of ambiguous training *** tested our method on FER-Plus and RAF-DB datasets,and the experiment demonstrates the feasibility of our method in practice during rehabilitation robots.

The utilization of iron coke provides a green pathway for low-carbon *** uncover the influence mechanism of iron ore on the behavior and kinetics of iron coke gasification,the effect of iron ore on the microstructure of iron coke was ***,a comparative study of the gasification reactions between iron coke and coke was conducted through non-isothermal thermogravimetric *** findings indicate that compared to coke,iron coke exhibits an augmentation in micropores and specific surface area,and the micropores further extend and *** provides more adsorption sites for CO_(2) molecules during the gasification process,resulting in a reduction in the initial gasification temperature of iron *** the heating rate in non-isothermal gasification can enhance the reactivity of iron *** metallic iron reduced from iron ore is embedded in the carbon matrix,reducing the orderliness of the carbon structure,which is primarily responsible for the heightened reactivity of the carbon *** kinetic study indicates that the random pore model can effectively represent the gasification process of iron coke due to its rich pore ***,as the proportion of iron ore increases,the activation energy for the carbon gasification gradually decreases,from 246.2 kJ/mol for coke to 192.5 kJ/mol for iron coke 15wt%.
