Human fallopian tubes (FTs) play important roles in the w.ole reproductive process. FTs are the site for the final maturation of gametes, fertilization, transport of preimplantation embryos, and early embryonic development before entering the uterus. All these functions are critical in the establishment of a successful pregnancy. w.en the embryo is in transit through the FT, the FT microenvironment changes through endocrine, paracrine, autocrine, and juxtacrine mechanisms w.ich involve various hormones and bioactive substances mainly from the neighboring cells. Therefore, the interactions betw.en the embryo and the FT may be the earliest embryo-maternal communications that are essential for the establishment of pregnancy. This review.critically discusses the evidence of various hormonal and bioactive mediated control of the microenvironment in the FTs during the earliest embryo-maternal communications. Moreover, w. highlight existing gaps in the k.ow.edge and the importance of exploring more of the physiology of FTs w.ich w.ll hold the k.y to producing high-quality embryos for patients seek.ngin vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments.

The classical Alexander’s Theorem states that every proper holomorphic self-mapping of a complex unit ball of dimension at least 2 is an automorphism. since then, the study of proper holomorphic mappings has become an important topic in several complex variables. Bounded symmetric domains, w.ich include the complex unit balls, are among the most important domains in complex Euclidean spaces, due to the fact that they possess a lot of symmetries and are the universal covering spaces of various important mathematical objects. Henk.n and Novik.v proved that the analogue of Alexander’s Theorem is also true for irreducible bounded symmetric domains of higher rank. These rigidity results for proper holomorphic mappings among bounded symmetric domains have been, by the efforts of a lot of people, extended to the cases w.th positive co-dimension or rank.difference. The purpose of this article is to give a survey for these developments. In addition, w. also include a section discussing some generalizations to the Hartogs domains over irreducible bounded symmetric domains.

The limited material removal rate of conventional chemical mechanical polishing(CMP)significantly hinders the fabrica-tion efficiency and surface quality,thereby preventing the development of gallium nitride(GaN)-based ***,the incorporation of photoelectrochemistry in CMP has garnered increasing attention because of its potential to enhance the quality and efficiency of the GaN ***,a considerable gap still exists in the comprehensive understanding of the specific photoelectrochemical(PEC)behavior of ***,w. report the influence of the electrolyte on the PEC etching of *** acids and bases w.re tested,w.th their pH being carefully *** concentrations of the cations and anions w.re also *** results show.d that photocorrosion/photoetching w.s more pronounced in sulfuric acid,phosphoric acid,and nitric acid environments than in alk.line environments,but it w.s less pronounced in hydrochloric ***,the effects of pH and anion concentration on photoetching w.re investigated,and the results revealed that pho-toetching in acidic environments w.ak.ned w.th increasing pH levels and diminished w.th increasing sulfate *** underlying reasons contributing to this observation w.re *** findings provide ideas for improving the pho-toetching efficiency of GaN,thereby enriching the photoelectrochemical mechanical polishing(PECMP)technology of GaN.

The sARs-CoV-2 Omicron variants are notorious for their transmissibility,but little is k.ow. about their subgenomic RNA(sgRNA)*** study applied RNA-seq to delineate the quantitative and qualitative profiles of canonical sgRNA of 118 respiratory samples collected from patients infected w.th Omicron BA.2 and compared w.th 338 patients infected w.th non-variant of concern(non-VOC)-D614G.A unique characteristic profile depicted by the relative abundance of 9 canonical sgRNAs w.s reproduced by both BA.2 and non-VOCD614G regardless of host gender,age and presence of ***,such profile w.s lost in samples w.th low.viral load,suggesting a potential application of sgRNA pattern to indicate viral activity of individual patient at a specific time point.A characteristic qualitative profile of canonical sgRNAs w.s also reproduced by both BA.2 and *** presence of a full set of canonical sgRNAs carried a coherent correlation w.th crude viral load(AUC¼0.91,95%CI 0.88–0.94),and sgRNA ORF7b w.s identified to be the best surrogate mark.r allow.ng feasible routine application in characterizing the infection status of individual *** potentials in using sgRNA as a target for vaccine and antiviral development are w.rth pursuing.
