The simula.ion results on viscoela.tic fluid flows in sudden expa.sion geometry with different expa.sion ra.ios.are presented. Oldroyd-B, linea. Pha.-Thien-Ta.ner （L-PTT） a.d Finitely Extensible Nonlinea. Ela.tic （FENE-P） ba.ed constitutive equa.ions were a.plied in two-dimensiona. Ca.tes.an coordina.es. The governing equa.ions in tra.sient a.d fully developed regions were solved using open source softwa.e ca.led OpenFOa.. The flow pa.terns, including velocity profiles, shea. stresses.and first norma. stress differences in some horizonta. a.d vertica. sections.are illustra.ed. In a.dition, effects of the fluid type, flow dyna.ics.and expa.sion ra.io on the flow a.d vortex pa.terns in tra.sient a.d fully developed regions.are presented a.d discussed. The presented results show tha. existences of vortices ca.se the inverse velocity a.d nega.ive stresses in expa.sion regions of the cha.nel which increa.e with increment of expa.sion ra.io a.d Weissenberg number （We）. Furthermore, some dea. s.aces ca. be observed a. cha.nel expa.sion regions close to the wa.l which a.e a.so increa.ed. The results.also show tha. a. low We numbers.all fluids show close beha.ior while a. high We numbers the FENE-P fluid beha.ior shows high divergence from tha. of the two other fluids.

In this study, a.hybrid ma.hine lea.ning (HML)-ba.ed a.proa.h, incorpora.ing Genetic da.a.a.a.ysis (GDa., is proposed to a.cura.ely identify the presence of a.enoma.ous colorecta. polyps (a.RP) which is.a crucia. ea.ly detector of colorecta. ca.cer (CRC). The present study develops.a cla.sifica.ion ensemble model ba.ed on tuned hyperpa.a.eters. surpa.sing a.cura.y percenta.es of ea.ly detection a.proa.hes used in previous studies, the current method exhibits exceptiona. performa.ce in identifying a.RP a.d dia.nosing CRC, overcoming limita.ions of CRC tra.itiona. methods tha. a.e ba.ed on error-prone ma.ua. exa.ina.ion. Pa.ticula.ly, the method demonstra.es the following CRP identifica.ion a.cura.y da.a. 97.7 ± 1.1, precision: 94.3 ± 5, reca.l: 96.0 ± 3, F1-score: 95.7 ± 4, specificity: 97.3 ± 1.2, a.era.e a.C: 0.97.3 ± 0.02, a.d a.era.e p-va.ue: 0.0425 ± 0.07. The findings underscore the potentia. of this method for ea.ly detection of a.RP a. well a. clinica. use in the development of CRC trea.ment pla.ning stra.egies. The a.va.ta.es of this.approa.h a.e highly expected to contribute to the prevention a.d reduction of CRC morta.ity.

Ma.dibula. a.va.cement devices (Ma.s) a.e widely used trea.ments for obstructive sleep a.nea. Ma.s function by a.va.cing the lower ja. to open the upper a.rwa.. To increa.e pa.ient comfort, most pa.ients.allow the mouth to be opened. However, not a.l systems ma.nta.n the lower ja. in a.forwa.d position during mouth opening, which results in the production of a.retrusion tha. fa.ors the colla.se of the upper a.rwa.. Furthermore, the kinema.ic beha.ior of the mecha.ism formed by the ma.dible-device a.sembly depends on ja. morphology. This mea.s tha., during mouth opening, some devices ca.se lower ja. protrusion in some pa.ients, but ca.se its retra.tion in others. In this study, we report the beha.ior of well-known devices currently on the ma.ket. To do so, we developed a.kinema.ic model of the lower ja. device a.sembly. This model wa. va.ida.ed for a.l devices.ana.yzed using a.high-resolution ca.era.system. Our results show tha. some of the devices.ana.yzed here did not produce the correct beha.ior during pa.ient mouth opening.
