Trade-Offs and synergie effects of Regulating ecosystem services along an Climatic Gradient in slovakia

This study aims to assess the synergies and trade-offs of regulating ecosystem services. ecosystem services are non-linearly interconnected and changes in one service can positively or negatively affect another. We evaluated ecosystem services based on biophysical indicators using an expert scoring system that determines the corresponding soil functions and is part of the existing databases available in slovakia. This methodological combination enabled us to provide unique mapping and assessment of ecosystem services within slovakia. Correlation analysis between individual regulating ecosystem services and climate regions, slope, texture, and altitude confirm the statistically significant influence of climate and slope in all agricultural land, arable land, and grassland ecosystems. statistically significant synergistic effects were established between the regulation of the water regime and the regulation of soil erosion within each climate region, apart from the very warm climate region. Only in a very warm climate region was potential of regulating ecosystem services mutually beneficial for soil erosion control and soil cleaning potential (immobilization of inorganic pollutants).

The solid solutions of the(1-x)Na_(0.5)Bi_(0.5)TiO_(3-x)Na_(0.5)K_(0.5)NbO_(3) system were produced by the conventional ceramic technology using mechanical activation of the synthesized *** was found that in the(1-x)Na_(0.5)Bi_(0.5)TiO_(3-x)Na_(0.5)K_(0.5)NbO_(3) system at room temperature,a number of morphotropic phase transitions occur:rhombohedral!cubic!tetragonal!monoclinic *** introduction of a small amount of Na_(0.5)K_(0.5)NbO_(3) leads to an increase in the temperature stability of the dielectric properties of ceramics.A change in the relaxor properties of the solid solutions of the(1-x)Na_(0.5)Bi_(0.5)TiO_(3-x)Na_(0.5)K_(0.5)NbO_(3) system was *** increase in energy density and energy efficiency was found at additive 10 mol.%of Na_(0.5)K_(0.5)NbO_(3).

Optical pulling provides a new degree of freedom in optical *** is generally believed that long-range optical pulling forces cannot be generated by the gradient of the incident ***,we theoretically propose and numerically demonstrate the realization of a long-range optical pulling force stemming from a self-induced gradient field in the manipulated *** analogy to potential barriers in quantum tunnelling,we use a photonic band gap design in order to obtain the intensity gradients inside a manipulated object placed in a photonic crystal waveguide,thereby achieving a pulling *** the usual scattering-type optical pulling forces,the proposed gradient-field approach does not require precise elimination of the reflection from the manipulated *** particular,the einstein-Laub formalism is applied to design this unconventional gradient *** magnitude of the force can be enhanced by a factor of up to 50 at the optical resonance of the manipulated object in the waveguide,making it insensitive to *** developed approach helps to break the limitation of scattering forces to obtain longrange optical pulling for manipulation and sorting of nanoparticles and other *** developed principle of using the band gap to obtain a pulling force may also be applied to other types of waves,such as acoustic or water waves,which are important for numerous applications.

New reagents for immunofluorescence analysis of carbazole series containing fluorinated β-dicarbonyl fragments and carboxylic substituent groups separated by spacers of different lengths from the light-gathering carbazole scaffold have been developed. The markers in complex with eusup>3+sup> ions possess stability in the aqueous phase, intense and prolonged luminescence (τ 550 - 570 μs) with characteristic emission maxima in the region of 615 nm and excitation wavelengths in the region of 380 - 390 nm, which distinguishes them from most of the analogs used. In the study of marker conjugation with streptavidin, a reagent containing 4 - 5 europium labeling complexes based on spacer-containing carbazole tetraketone was obtained. The marker-doped silicate nanoparticles exhibit intense and long-lived luminescence in the characteristic region.

Development and testing of a high-power s-band klystron at BINP sB RAs
