Hierarchical TiO_2/ZnO Nanostructure as Novel Non-precious Electrocatalyst for Ethanol Electrooxidation

Metal oxides have a higher chemical stability in comparison to metals,so they can be utilized as electrocatalysts if the activity could be *** the composition,the morphology of the nanostructures has a considerable impact on the electrocatalytic *** this work,zinc oxide nano branches-attached titanium dioxide nanofibers were investigated as an economic and stable catalyst for ethanol electrooxidation in the alkaline *** introduced material has been synthesized by electrospinning process followed by hydrothermal ***,electrospinning of colloidal solution consisting of titanium isopropoxide,poly（vinyl acetate） and zinc nanoparticles was performed to produce nanofibers embedding solid *** order to produce TiO2nanofibers containing ZnO nanoparticles,the obtained electrospun nanofiber mats were calcined in air at 600 °*** formed ZnO nanoparticles were exploited as seeds to outgrow ZnO branches around the TiO2nanofibers using the hydrothermal technique at sub-critical water conditions in the presence of zinc nitrate and bis-hexamethylene *** morphology of the final product,as well as the electrochemical measurements indicated that zinc nanoparticles content in the original electrospun nanofibers has a significant influence on the electrocatalytic activity as the best performance was observed with the nanofibers synthesized from electrospun solution containing 0.1 g Zn,and the corresponding current density was 37 mA/***,this study paves a way to titanium dioxide to be exploited to synthesize effective and stable metal oxide-based electrocatalysts.

In Vitro assessment of the nutritive value of expanded soybean meal for dairy cattle

Little information is available about the nutritive value of expanded soybean meal, which is produced by expansion of soybeans prior to solvent extraction of the oil. During processing, expanded soybean meal is subjected to additional heat, which might increase the concentration of ruminally undegraded protein. Processing of soybeans with heat during oil extraction could affect lysine availability by increasing ruminally undegraded protein or by impairing intestinal digestion. Our objective was to compare solvent and expanded soybeans with regard to chemical composition and nutritive value for dairy cattle. samples of expanded soybean meal （n = 14） and solventextracted soybean meal （n = 5） were obtained from People＇s Republic of China to study effects of the expansion process on nutritive value for dairy cattle. solvent-extracted soybean meal （n = 2） and mechanically extracted （heated） soybean meal （n = 2） from the United states served as references for comparison. samples were analyzed for crude fat, long-chain fatty acids, crude protein, amino acids, chemically available lysine, in situ ruminal protein degradation, and in vitro intestinal digestibility. No differences were found between solvent-extracted soybean meals from China and expanded soybean meals from China for crude fat, crude protein, amino acids, or chemically available lysine. In situ disappearance of nitrogen, ruminally undegraded protein content, and in vitro intestinal digestion of the ruminally undegraded protein were generally similar between solvent-extracted soybean meals made in China and expanded soybean meals made in China; variation among soybean meals was small. Results indicate that the additional heat from the expansion process was not great enough to affect the nutritive value of soybean meal protein for ruminants. The etiological spectrum of bowel obstruction and early postoperative outcome among neonates at a tertiary hospital in Uganda

Background Bowel obstruction is a common surgical emergency in ***-fourth of neonates with obstruction suffer postoperative complications,with high mortality,especially in low-income *** attributed to mortality include prematurity,late presentation and associated multiple congenital *** prevalence and the predictors of mortality in our setting have not been well *** aimed to describe the early postoperative outcomes and to determine the predictors of mortality among neonates with bowel *** We conducted a prospective cohort study during 4 months,when we recruited postoperative neonates from the pediatric surgery unit of Mulago *** collected data on demographics,clinical presentations,maternal characteristics,the surgical procedure performed,postoperative outcomes,*** follow-up for 2 weeks,we analyzed the data using Cox proportional hazards regression models of predictors of *** A total of 76 neonates were recruited,with a male-to-female ratio of 2.2:*** age ranged from 1 to 26 days,a median of 3[interquartile range(IQR):2,7].About 67.1%had birth weights ranging between 2.5 kg and 3.5 kg,a mean of 2.8[standard deviation(sD)=0.64];76.3%were termed;with anorectal malformation(ARM),31.6%as the leading cause,followed by jejunoileal atresia(JIA),25%.Nearly 55.3%of neonates developed complications;53.9%with post-operative fever,15.8%had wound *** mortality rate was 44.7%(34/76)and was highest among cases of JIA,41.2%.The predictors of mortality included prematurity,fever at admission,breastfeeding status,and mother’s parity as well as the cadre of healthcare providers(psions ARM is the predominant cause of bowel obstruction among neonates,followed by *** morbidity and mortality due to bowel obstruction among neonates are unacceptably *** major predictors of mortality were prematurity,fever at admission,and the cadre of the healthcare providers.

The idea of the present article is to look into the nonlinear dynamics and vibration of a damping Duffing-jerk oscillator in fractal space exhibiting the non-perturbative *** a new analytical technique,namely,the modification of a He’s fractal derivative that converts the fractal derivative to the traditional derivative in continuous space,this study provides an effective and easy-to-apply procedure that is dependent on the He’s fractal derivative *** analytic approximate solution has a significant match with the results of the numerical simulation as the fractal parameter is very closer to unity,which proves the reliability of the *** behavior is discussed and illustrated *** new powerful analytical tools are developed in an attempt to obtain effective analytical tools,valid for any fractal nonlinear problems.

The Algorithm of the Time-Dependent shortest Path Problem with Time Windows

In this paper, we present a new algorithm of the time-dependent shortest path problem with time windows. Give a directed graph , where V is a set of nodes, E is a set of edges with a non-negative transit-time function . For each node , a time window ?within which the node may be visited and ?, is non-negative of the service and leaving time of the node. A source node s, a destination node d and a departure time?t0, the time-dependent shortest path problem with time windows asks to find an s, d-path that leaves a source node s at a departure time t0;and minimizes the total arrival time at a destination node d. This formulation generalizes the classical shortest path problem in which ce are constants. Our algorithm of the time windows gave the generalization of the ALT algorithm and A* algorithm for the classical problem according to Goldberg and Harrelson [1], Dreyfus [2] and Hart et al. [3].

收集了国内北京、山东、广东和海南等 14个省市 2 3个地区的蔬菜、园林花卉和杂草上的 2 3个烟粉虱Bemisiatabaci(Gennadius)种群 ,根据报道合成了一个随机引物H1 6 ,运用RAPD PCR技术对所收集的烟粉虱种群进行了生物型鉴定。结果表明在 2 3个烟粉虱种群中 ,有 17个种群同属于危害严重的“B生物型” ,这些种群主要分布在交通便利的城市或沿海地区 ,而非B生物型则主要分布在交通不便的山区或内陆。

Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis(CVsT)is a type of stroke associated with COVID-19 vaccine-induced immune thrombotic *** precise etiology of CVsT often remains elusive due to the highly heterogeneous nature of its governing mechanisms,specifically,Virchow’s triad that involves altered blood flow,endothelial dysfunction,and hypercoagulability,which varies substantially amongst *** diagnostic and monitoring approaches lack the capability to reflect the combination of these patient-specific thrombotic *** response to this challenge,we introduce a Vein-Chip platform that recapitulates the CVsT vascular anatomy from magnetic resonance venography and the associated hemodynamic flow profile using the“Chinese Movable Type-like”soft stereolithography *** resultant full-lumen personalized Vein-Chips,functionalized with endothelial cells,enable in-vitro thrombosis assays that can elucidate distinct thrombogenic scenarios between normal vascular conditions and those of endothelial *** former displayed minimal platelet aggregation and negligible fibrin deposition,while the latter presented significant fibrin extrusion from platelet *** low-cost movable typing technique further enhances the potential for commercialization and broader utilization of personalized Vein-Chips in surgical labs and at-home *** research and development in this direction will pave the way for improved management and prevention of CVsT,ultimately benefiting both patients and healthcare systems.
