Carbon nitride has been extensively used as a visible-light photocatalyst,but it has the disadvantages of a low specific surface area,rapid electron-hole recombination,and relatively low light *** this study,s.ngle-atom Ag was successfully anchored on ultrathin carbon nitride(UTCn)via thermal polymerization,the catalyst obtained is called *** Ag hardly changed the carbon nitride's layered and porous physical *** exhibited efficient visible-light photocatalytic performances in the degradation of various recalcitrant pollutants,eliminations of 85% were achieved by visible-light irradiation for *** with Ag improved the photocatalytic performance of UTCn by narrowing the forbidden band gap from 2.49 to 2.36 e V and suppress.ng electron-hole pair *** addition,Ag doping facilitated O_(2) adsorption on UTCn by decreas.ng the adsorption energy from -0.2 to -2.22 e V and favored the formation of O_(2)^(·-).Electron spin res.nance and radical-quenching experiments showed that O_(2)^(·-)was the major reactive species in the degradation of Acetaminophen(paracetamol,APAP).

Herein,the successful preparation of a s.ngleatom catalyst V-n-C us.ng vanadium-doped zeolitic imidazolate framework(ZIF)-8 as a precursor is *** experimental results showed that the V-n-C had a good promoting effect on the hydrogen storage performance of MgH_(2),and the optimal addition amount of V-n-C was 10wt%.The hydrogenation and dehydrogenation apparent activation energies of 10 wt%V-n-C-catalyzed MgH_(2)were reduced by 44.9 and 53.5 kJ·mol^(-1),respectively,compared to those of additive-free MgH_(2).The 10 wt%V-n-C-catalyzed MgH_(2)could reabsorb 5.92 wt%of hydrogen in 50 min at 150℃,with a capacity retention rate of 99.1%after 30 cycles of hydrogen absorption and *** analysis showed that V-n-C was partially transformed into Vn and metallic V when it was milled with MgH_(2);the in-situ-formed Vn and metallic V played an important role in improving the hydrogen storage performance of MgH_(2).This approach provides a potential solution for obtaining high-performance Mg-based hydrogen storage materials through s.nergistic interactions between V,n and C.

skeletal muscle plays a vital role in the regulation of systemic metabolism,partly through its secretion of endocrine factors which are collectively known as *** myokine levels are associated with metabolic diseases,such as type 2 diabetes(T2D).The significance of interorgan crosstalk,particularly through myokines,has emerged as a fundamental aspect of nutrient and energy ***,a comprehensive understanding of myokine biology in the setting of obesity and T2D remains a major chal*** this review,we discuss the regulation and biological functions of key myokines that have been extensively studied during the past two decades.namely interleukin 6(IL-6),iris.n,myostatin(Ms.n),growth differentiation factor 11(GDF11),fibroblast growth factor 21(FGF21),apelin,brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDnF),meteorin-like(Metrnl),secreted protein acidic and rich in cysteine(sPARC),β-aminoisobutyric acid(BAIBA),Musclin,and Dickkopf 3(Dkk3).Related to these,we detail the role of exercise in myokine expression and secretion together with their contributions to metabolic physiology and *** significant advancements in myokine research,many myokines remain challenging to measure accurately and investigate ***,new research techniques and detection methods should be developed and rigorously ***,developing a comprehensive perspective on myokine biology is crucial,as this will likely offer new insights into the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying obesity and T2D and may reveal novel targets for therapeutic interventions.

The sessile drop method was applied to the experimental investigation of the wetting and spreading behaviors of liquid Mg drops on pure ni *** comparis.n,the experiments were performed in two variants:(1)us.ng the Capillary Purification(CP)procedure,which allows the non-contact heating and squeezing of a pure oxide-free Mg drop;(2)by classical Contact Heating(CH)*** high-temperature tests were performed under isothermal conditions(CP:760℃for 30 s;CH:715℃for 300 s)us.ng Ar+5 wt%H_(2) *** the sessile drop tests,images of the Mg/ni couples were recorded by CCD cameras(57 fps),which were then applied to calculate the contact angles of metal/substrate *** and transmission electron microscopy analyses,both coupled with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy,were used for detailed structural characterization of the solidified *** was found that an oxide-free Mg drop obtained by the CP procedure showed a wetting phenomenon on the ni substrate(an average contact angleθns),followed by fast spreading and good wetting over the ni substrate(θ_((CP))~20°in 5 s)to form a final contact angle ofθ_(f(CP))~18°.In contrast,a different wetting behavior was observed for the CH procedure,where the unavoidable primary oxide film on the Mg surface blocked the spreading of liquid Mg showing apparently non-wetting behavior after 300 s contact at the test ***,in both cases,the deep craters formed in the ni substrates under the Mg drops and significant change in the structure of initially pure Mg drops to Mg-ni alloys suggest a strong dissolution of ni in liquid Mg and apparent values of the final contact angles measured for the Mg/ni system.

stress measurement plays a crucial role in geomechanics and rock engineering, especially for the design and construction of large-scale rock projects. This paper pres.nts a novel method, based on the traditional stress relief approach, for indirectly measuring rock stress us.ng optical techniques. The proposed method allows for the acquisition of full-field strain evolution on the borehole's inner wall before and after disturbance, facilitating the determination of three-dimensional (3D) stress information at multiple points within a s.ngle borehole. The study focuses on pres.nting the method's theoretical framework, laboratory validation results, and equipment design conception. The theoretical framework comprises three key components: the optical imaging method of the borehole wall, the digital image correlation (DIC) method, and the stress calculation procedure. Laboratory validation tests investigate strain field distribution on the borehole wall under varying stress conditions, with stress results derived from DIC strain data. Remarkably, the optical method demonstrates better measurement accuracy during the unloading stage compared to conventional strain gauge methods. At relatively high stress levels, the optical method demonstrates a relative error of less than 7% and an absolute error within 0.5 MPa. Furthermore, a comparative analysis between the optical method and the conventional contact resistance strain gauge method highlights the optical method's enhanced accuracy and stability, particularly during the unloading stage. The proposed optical stress measurement device repres.nts a pioneering effort in the application of DIC technology to rock engineering, highlighting its potential to advance stress measurement techniques in the field.
