In irrigated agricultural systems,nitrogen(N)and water are the vital resources for sustainability of the crop production in the modern era of climate *** current study aimed to assess the impact of water and N management on the productivity of irrigated rice *** the context,a field observation was done at the research farm of Bangladesh Agricultural University,Mymensingh,during dry seasons in consecutive two years(2018–2019 and 2019–2020).The experiments were set up following split-plot design assigning water management in the main plots,nitrogen management in the sub-plots,and the cultivars were approved in the split-split plot with three *** two years observation,it was revealed that rice cultivar Binadhan-8 gave the maximum value of leaf area index,number effective tillers hill-1 and grains panicle-1 which lead to the higher grain yield(GY).substantial relationships were observed among the concentration of N,growth,total dry matter(TDM)and N content,N uptake,N utilization effectiveness,and ***,with little exception,the Combined effect of water and N,cultivars and water management were varied significantly for all ***,the results of the current study concluded that application of irrigation at 8 days after the disappearance of ponded water and source of 105 kg N ha-1 from PU+Poultry manure are the best management approach for the excellent performance of rice cultivar Binadhan-8.

ADAM8 has been identified as the fibronectin-cleaving enzyme in human degenerative intervertebral disc(IVD)tissues.^(1)Increase of the active form of ADAM8 and its cleavage product,fibronectin fragment,correlated with an increased degree of IVD degeneration.1 Furthermore,fibronectin fragments have been shown to accelerate the progression of IVD degeneration.^(2)These findings suggest that ADAM8 may play a role in degenerative disc disease,a clinical problem with tremendous socioeconomic burdens in the United states.

Chrysene and 1.2-benzanthracene are successfully doped in a solid wax film and their vibrational spectra in gooo--400cm^-1 are discussed. The harmonic frequencies and relative intensities of both the molecules observed in the film are compared with theoretical values calculated by the density functional theory （DFT） model as well as with the previous experimental data. The effects on spectra due to change of matrix and some additional bands observed in the wax film are also reported. Excellent agreement in the spectral positions and strengths between the experiments and DFT values are found.

We investigated the floristic composition, woody species diversity and spatial distribution of trees in a tropical wet evergreen forest in Kaptai national park in Chittagong Hill Tracks, Bangladesh. We recorded 25 families, 37 genera, 40 species and 1771 woody individuals in a 0.09 ha plot. Euphorbiaceae and Moraceae were the most species- rich families, and Castanopsis, Ficus and Terminaliawere the most species-rich genera. Bursera serrata Wall. ex Colebr. was the dominant species in terms of highest importance value （13%）. Trema orientalis （L.） B1 was typically a light demanding species as it appeared in the top can- opy with only one individual having the seventh highest IV, but had no regeneration. The expected maximum number of species （smax） was 140, indicating that many species may invade the forest as the sm~ is greater than the recorded total number of species. The nature of the disappear- ance and appearance of species in the present forest reflects instability of floristic composition. The values of shannon＇s index H＇ and Pielou＇s index J＇（evenness） were 3.36 bit and 0.63, respectively. These values show moderately high species diversity as compared to other subtropical forests in the tropics. In addition, a sample area of 200 m2 in this forest would be sufficient for measuring the diversity indices H＂ and ,/＇, whereas the trend of J＇may indicate the rate of equality of individuals among the different species decreased with increasing area. The distribu- tion pattern for the total stand was completely random. However, the dominant species showed aggregate distribution for small areas, but random distribution for large areas. The spatial association between species showed that the strongest positive interspecific association occurred between streblus asper Lour. and Castanea indica Roxh. （09 = 0.51）. Due to the open nature of wireless data transmission,routing and data security pose an important research challenge in the Internet of Things(IoT)-enabled ***,the characteristic features,like constrained resources,heterogeneity,uncontrolled environment,and scalability requirement,make the security issues even more ***,an effective and secure routing protocol named modified Energy Harvesting Trust-aware Routing Algorithm(mod-EHTARA)is proposed to increase the energy efficiency and the lifespan of the *** proposed mod-EHTARA is designed by adopting the Link Lifetime(LLT)model with the traditional *** optimal secure routing path is effectively selected by the proposed mod-EHTARA using the cost metric,which considers the factors like delay,LLT,energy,and *** big data classification process is carried out at the Base station(Bs)using the MapReduce ***,the big data classification is progressed using a stacked autoencoder,which is trained by the Adaptive E-Bat *** Adaptive E-Bat algorithm is developed by integrating the adaptive concept with the Bat Algorithm(BA)and Exponential Weighted Moving Average(EWMA).The proposed mod-EHTARA showed better performance by obtaining a maximal energy of 0.9855.

This paper constructs a new non-uniform Doo-sabin subdivision scheme via eigen *** authors proved that the limit surface is always convergent and is G1 continuous for any valence and any positive knot intervals under a minor assumption, that λ is the second and third eigenvalues of the subdivision matrix. And then, a million of numerical experiments are tested with randomly selecting positive knot intervals, which verify that our new subdivision scheme satisfies the *** this is not true for the other two existing non-uniform Doo-sabin schemes in sederberg, et al.(1998), Huang and Wang(2013). In additional, numerical experiments indicate that the quality of the new limit surface can be improved.

Along with conventional methods, this paper proposed a method in which 1 D and 3 D models are integrated to identify the self-sourced reservoir potential of the Farewell Formation in the Kupe Gas Field within the Taranaki Basin, New Zealand. source rock characteristics were evaluated at both field and basin scales by investigating source rock maturity, type of organic matter,and hydrocarbon generation potential by rock pyrolysis,using Rock-Eval 2 and 6. The 1 D thermal and burial history model established the rate of sedimentation and thermal history of the Kupe 4 well. Reservoir characterization at field-scale was determined by seismic interpretation, well log analysis, and 3 D structural and petrophysical models. The sediments of the Farewell Formation contain types II-III（oil/gas prone） and type III（gas prone） and have fair-to-excellent generation potential. The oxygen and hydrogen indices ranged from 3 to 476 mg CO2/g TOC and 26 to 356 mg HC/g TOC, respectively, whereas the thermal maturity determined by vitrinite reflectance values ranged between 0.3% and 0.72%, indicating that the Farewell Formation is in immature-to-mature hydrocarbon generation stage. Thus, Farewell Formation was verified to be a good source rock. Additionally, structural interpretations demonstrated the structural complexity of an extensional and contractional regime within the reservoir package. Multiple faults indicated a good reservoir property there with a trapping mechanism as well as migration paths. A well-log-based petrophysical analysis established the presence of up to 70% hydrocarbon saturation within the pore spaces of Farewell *** 3 D models confirmed that the Farewell Formation has significant sand zones and hydrocarbon-saturated zones,thereby proving its very good reservoir characteristics. It has been proved that the 1 D and 3 D structural schemes,integrated with geological techniques, was vital in identifying the Kupe Field as a self-sourced reservoir.

Mechanical and thermodynamical stability of BiVO4 polymorphs using first-principles study

First principles calculations of structural, electronic, mechanical, and thermodynamic properties of different poly- morphs of BiVO4 are performed using Bender-type plane/wave ultrasoft pseudopotentials within the generalized gradient approximation （GGA） in the flame of density functional theory （DFT）. The calculated structural and electronic properties are consistent with the previous theoretical and experimental results. The electronic structures reveal that m-BiVO4, op- BiVO4, and st-BiVO4 have indirect band gaps, on the other hand, zt-BiVO4 has a direct band gap. From the DOs and Mulliken＇s charge analysis, it is observed that only m-BiVO4 has 6s2 Bi lone pair. Bond population analysis indicates that st-BiVO4 shows a more ionic nature and a similar result is obtained from the elastic properties. From the elastic prop- erties, it is observed that st-BiVO4 is more mechanically stable than the others, st-BiVO4 is more ductile and useful for high electro-optical and electro-mechanical coupling devices. Our calculated thermodynamic properties confirm the similar characteristics found from electronic and elastic properties, m-BiVO4 is useful as photocatalysts, solid state electrolyte, and electrode and other polymorphs are applicable in electronic device fabrications.
