Photolithography is among the key phases in chip *** is also among the most expensive with manufacturing equipment valued at the hundreds of millions of *** is paramount that the process is ran efficiently,guaranteeing high resource utilization and low product cycle times.A key element in the operation of a photolithography system is the effective management of the reticles that are responsible for the imprinting of the circuit path on the *** reticles means determining which are appropriate to mount on the very expensive scanners as a function of the product types being released to the *** the importance of the problem,several heuristic policies have been developed in the industry practice in an attempt to guarantee that the expensive tools are never ***,such policies have difficulties reacting to unforeseen events(e.g.,unplanned failures,unavailability of reticles).On the other hand,the technological advance of the semiconductor industry in sensing at system and process level should be harnessed to improve on these"expert policies".In this manuscript,we develop a system for the real time reticle management that not only is able to retrieve information from the real system,but also is able to embed commonly used policies to improve upon *** develop a new digital twin for the photolithography process that efficiently and accurately predicts the system performance,thus allowing our system to make predictions for future behaviors as a function of possible *** results demonstrate the validity of the developed model,and the feasibility of the overall approach demonstrating a statistically significant improvement of performance as compared to the current policy.

Chemotherapy in non-small cell lung cancer: opportunities for advancement

Locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NsCLC) continues to be a challenging disease to treat. With high rates of both local and distant failures, there is signiicant interest in inding more biologically active chemotherapy regimens that can contribute to reduce both failures. The phase III PROCLAIM trial, recently published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology entitled "PROCLAIM: randomized phase III trial of pemetrexed–cisplatin or etoposide–cisplatin plus thoracic radiation therapy followed by consolidation chemotherapy in locally advanced nonsquamous non-small-cell lung cancer", compared two diferent chemotherapy regimens given concurrently with radiotherapy in patients with stage III non-squamous lung cancer: pemetrexed plus cisplatin versus cisplatin plus etoposide. Both groups received consolidation chemotherapy. After enrolling 598 of planned 600 patients, the study was stopped early due to futility as no diference was seen in the primary end-point of overall survival. since PROCLAIM was designed as a superiority trial, these results suggest that pemetrexed regimens do not ofer a clinical advantage over standard cisplatin plus etoposide. There are some subpopulations who might still beneit from pemetrexed, especially if clinicians are concerned about myelosuppression-related adverse events. Future trials are needed to investigate novel biologic agents and irradiation techniques that can result in more durable local and distant disease control in locally advanced NsCLC.

Microporous Hypercross-linked Conjugated Quinonoid Chromophores of Anthracene: Novel Polymers for CO_2 Adsorption

Microporous hypercross-linked conjugated quinonoid chromophores represent a novel class of amorphous polymers, synthesized by the reaction of anthracene with dimethoxy methane in the presence of FeCl3 catalyst. Their N2 adsorption isotherms confirm their microporous nature. Diffuse reflectance UV-Visible（DRs UV-Vis） spectroscopy confirms their matrix built with the conjugated quinonoids by their broad light absorption characteristics extending from 1000 nm to 200 nm with the absorbance maximum close to 400 nm. The catalyst cross-linked anthracene with ―CH2― bridges and subsequently dehydrogenating them to form quinonoids. Their Fourier transform infrared（FTIR） spectra showed their characteristic quinonoid vibrations between 1600 and 1700 cm-1. The synthesis of polymers was carried out at 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80 ℃, but the quinonoid content of the polymer obtained at 80 ℃ was higher than that of the others. Their scanning electron microscopy（sEM） images showed microspheres of 1 to 5 μm size built with tiny particles. Their surfaces were not smooth. The polymer synthesized at 80 ℃ showed 5.1 wt% CO2 sorption at 25 ℃ and 0.1 MPa, but when it was recross-linked, the CO2 sorption increased to 8 wt%. Hence, hypercross-linked conjugated quinonoid chromophores of anthracene are good for sorption of CO2.

Neuromorphic vision sensors have been extremely beneficial in developing energy-efficient intelligent systems for robotics and privacy-preserving security *** is a dire need for devices to mimic the retina's photoreceptors that encode the light illumination into a sequence of spikes to develop such ***,we develop a hybrid perovskite-based flexible photoreceptor whose capacitance changes proportionally to the light intensity mimicking the retina's rod cells,paving the way for developing an efficient artificial retina *** proposed device constitutes a hybrid nanocomposite of perovskites(methyl-ammonium lead bromide)and the ferroelectric terpolymer(polyvinylidene fluoride trifluoroethylene-chlorofluoroethylene).A metal-insulator-metal type capacitor with the prepared composite exhibits the unique and photosensitive capacitive behavior at various light intensities in the visible light *** proposed photoreceptor mimics the spectral sensitivity curve of human photopic *** hybrid nanocomposite is stable in ambient air for 129 weeks,with no observable degradation of the composite due to the encapsulation of hybrid perovskites in the hydrophobic *** functionality of the proposed photoreceptor to recognize handwritten digits(MNIsT)dataset using an unsupervised trained spiking neural network with 72.05%recognition accuracy is *** demonstration proves the potential of the proposed sensor for neuromorphic vision applications.

Dear Editor,Zika virus(ZIKV),a pathogen within the genus Flavivirus,family Flaviviridae brought an international public health emergency due to its association with neonatal microcephaly case(Platt and Miner 2017).Currently the most reliable diagnostic test is PCR detection of ZIKV RNA from body fluid ***,the short viremia window and asymptomatic/mild infections greatly reduce the success rate of PCRs(de Vasconcelos et al.2018).

A comparative study on microstructural evolution and surface properties of graphene/CNT reinforced Al6061-siC hybrid surface composite fabricated via friction stir processing

A comparative study on the surface properties of Al-siC-multi walled carbon nanotubes (CNT) and Al-siC-graphene nanoplatelets (GNP) hybrid composites fabricated via friction stir processing (FsP) was documented. Microstructural characterization reveals a more homogeneous dispersion of GNPs in the Al matrix as compared to CNTs. Dislocation blockade by siC and GNP particles along with the defect-free interface between the matrix and reinforcements is also observed. Nanoindentation study reveals a remarkable ~207% and ~27% increment in surface nano-hardness of Al-siC-GNP and Al-siC-CNT hybrid composite compared to as-received Al6061 alloy, respectively. On the other hand, the microhardness values of Al-siC-GNP and Al-siC-CNT are increased by ~36% and ~17% relative to as-received Al6061 alloy, respectively. Tribological assessment reveals ~56% decrease in the specific wear rate of Al-siC-GNP hybrid composite, whereas it is increased by ~122% in Al-siC-CNT composite. The higher strength of Al-siC-GNP composite is attributed to the mechanical exfoliation of GNPs to few layered graphene (FLG) in the presence of siC. Also, various mechanisms such as thermal mismatch, grain refinement, and Orowan looping contribute significantly towards the strengthening of composites. Moreover, the formation of tribolayer by the squeezed-out GNP on the surface is responsible for the improved tribological performance of the composites. Raman spectroscopy and various other characterization methods corroborate the results.

Photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants is of great significance for wastewater remediation but is still hindered by the poor catalytic efficiency of the ***,we report a strategy to simultaneously introduce piezocatalysis and to enhance the intrinsic photocatalysis in a single catalyst,which improved the performance for catalytic degradation of methylene blue(MB)***,piezoelectric BiFeO_(3)(BFO)nanotube doped with different contents of Gd and La(Bi_(0.9)(GdxLa_(1−x))0.1FeO_(3))were produced by *** doping led to a higher concentration of surface oxygen vacancy(OV)in Bi_(0.9)Gd_(0.07)La_(0.03)FeO_(3),which effectively increased the piezoelectric field due to the deformation of BFO,and suppressed the recombination of photon-generated electron–hole *** Bi_(0.9)Gd_(0.07)La_(0.03)FeO_(3)nanotube showed excellent catalytic performance under simultaneous light irradiation and ultrasonic excitation,giving an extraordinary 95%degradation of MB within 90 *** findings suggest that the piezoelectric effect combined with defect engineering can enhance the catalytic performance of Bi_(0.9)Gd_(0.07)La_(0.03)FeO_(3)*** could potentially be extended to other catalytic systems for high-performance pollutant treatment.

Nonlinear Coupling of Kinetic Alfvén Waves and Ion Acoustic Waves in the Inner Heliosphere

We study the nonlinear coupling of kinetic Alfvén waves with ion acoustic waves applicable to the Earth’s radiation belt and near-sun streamer belt solar wind using dynamical equations in the form of modified Zakharov *** simulations show the formation of magnetic field filamentary structures associated with density humps and dips which become turbulent at later times,redistributing the energy to higher *** magnetic power spectra exhibit an inertial range Kolmogorov-like spectral index value of-5/3 for k_(⊥)ρ_(i)steeper dissipation range spectra with indices~-3 for the radiation belt case and~-4 for the nearsun streamer belt solar wind case,here k_(⊥)andρ_(i)represent the wavevector component perpendicular to the background magnetic field and the ion thermal gyroradius,*** quasilinear theory in terms of the Fokker-Planck equation in the region of wavenumber turbulent spectra,we find the particle distribution function flattening in the superthermal tail population which is the signature of particle energization and plasma heating.

Influences of Annealing Temperature and Doping Concentration on Microstructural and Optical Properties of CeO_2:sm^(3+) Nanocrystals

Nanocrystals of CeO2 with different doping concentrations of sm3＋ were synthesized by a novel and cost- effective method. The crystal structure, morphology and particle size were systematically investigated by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. Effects of the annealing temperature and doping concentrations on the microstructural properties of the crystals were studied. X-ray diffraction analysis indicates that the cubic structure of the CeO2 is not affected by the doping of sm3＋ up to a doping concentration of 20%. Different structural parameters such as lattice constant, surface area, bulk density and porosity of the crystal were determined and discussed. Microscopic images of the CeO2：sm3＋ suggest that the thermal decomposition of oxalate precursor is a suitable synthesis pathway to produce uniform-sized microparticles and nanoparticles. The influences of annealing temPerature and doping concentration of sm3＋ on the optical properties of the nanocrystals were also discussed. The photoluminescence excitation spectra reveal that the charge transfer band is redshifted with increasing annealing temperatures. Emission attains its maximum intensity for sm3＋ concentration of 1%, and higher concentrations lead to emission quenching.

Carvacrol Promotes Cell Cycle Arrest and Apoptosis through PI3K/AKT signaling Pathway in MCF-7 Breast Cancer Cells

Objective:To examine the role of carvacrol in modulating PI3 K/AKT signaling involved in human breast cancer pathogenesis using in vitro experimental model MCF-7 ***:MTT and lactate dehydrogenase assays were performed with cells treated with different doses of carvacrol(0–250μmol/L)at different time points(24 and 48 h).The nuclear morphology was assessed in MCF-7 cells with propidium iodide(PI)and acridine orange/ethidium bromide(AO/EB)staining and analyzed by fluorescence *** like cell cycle arrest and apoptosis were observed by flow cytometric analysis and expressions of p-Rb,cyclin D1,cyclin-dependent kinase 4(CDK4),CDK6,Bax,Bcl-2,PI3 K/p-AKT were analyzed by ***:Carvacrol significantly reduced cell viability with the half maximal inhibitory concentration value of 200μmol/L at 24 and 48 h(Ps a significant increase in the accumulation of the G0/G1 phase upon treatment with carvacrol in MCF-7 cells(Pse in protein expressions of p-Rb,cyclin D1,CDK4 and CDK6 denoted cell cycle arrest(Psignificantly inhibited PI3 K/p-AKT protein expressions leading to induction of apoptosis mediated by decreased Bcl2 and increased Bax protein ***,Annexin V/PI staining by FACs analysis,dual staining by AO/EB and PI staining studies suggested induction of apoptosis by carvacrol through PI3 K/Akt signaling pathway in MCF-7 ***:Carvacrol significantly inhibited the breast cancer MCF-7 cell proliferation and induced apoptosis via suppressing PI3/AKT signaling pathway.
