We examine the reflection and transmission phenomena of quasi-longitudinal plane(QP)waves in an AlN-ZnO laminated composite *** structure is designed under the influence of the initial stresses in which one carrier piezoelectric semiconductor(PsC)half-space is in welded contact with another PsC *** secular equations in the transversely isotropic PsC material are derived from the general dynamic equation,taking the initial stresses into *** is shown that the incident quasi-longitudinal wave(QP-mode)at the interface generates four types of reflected and transmitted waves,namely,QP wave,quasi-transverse(QsV)wave,electric-acoustic(EA)wave,and carrier plane(CP)*** algebraic equations are obtained by imposing the boundary conditions on the common interface of the laminated *** and transmission coefficients of waves are obtained by implementing Cramer’s *** impacts of the initial stresses and exterior electric biasing field on the reflection and transmission coefficients of waves are investigated and presented graphically.

The frequency of the Love-type surface waves in a bedded structure con- sisting of a porous piezoelectric (PP) medium and a functionally graded material (FGM) substrate is approximated. The FGM layer is assumed to have a constant initial stress. The Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin (WKB) approximation technique is used for the wave solution in the FGM layer, and the method of separation of variables is applied for the solution in the porous piezoelectric medium. The dependence of the wave frequency on the wave number is obtained for both electrically open and short cases. The effects of the gradient coefficient of the FGM layer, the initial stresses (tensile stress and compressive stress), and the width of the FGM layer are marked distinctly and shown graphically. The findings may contribute towards the design and optimization of acoustic wave devices.

This paper presents a two-dimensional unsteady laminar boundary layer mixed convection flow heat and mass transfer along a vertical plate filled with Casson nanofluid located in a porous quiescent medium that contains both nanoparticles and gyrotactic microorganisms. This permeable vertical plate is assumed to be moving in the same direction as the free stream velocity. The flow is subject to a variable heat flux, a zero nanoparticle flux and a constant density of motile microorganisms on the surface. The free stream velocity is time-dependent resulting in a non-similar solution. The transport equations are solved using the bivariate spectral quasilinearization method. A grid independence test for the validity of the result is given. The significance of the inclusion of motile microorganisms to heat transfer processes is discussed. We show, inter alia, that introducing motile microorganisms into the flow reduces the skin friction coefficient and that the random motion of the nanoparticles improves the rate of transfer of the motile microorganisms.

The observation of oxygen(O)-and nitrogen(N)-bearing molecules gives an idea about the complex prebiotic chemistry in the interstellar *** millimeter and submillimeter wavelength observations have shown the presence of complex O-and N-bearing molecules in the star formation ***,the investigation of those molecules is crucial to understanding the chemical complexity in the star-forming *** this article,we present the identification of the rotational emission lines of N-bearing molecules ethyl cyanide(C_(2)H_(5)CN)and cyanoacetylene(HC_(3)N),and O-bearing molecule methyl formate(CH_(3)OCHO)toward high-mass protostar IRAs18089–1732 using the Atacama Compact *** also detected the emission lines of both the N-and O-bearing molecule formamide(NH_(2)CHO)in the envelope of IRAs 18089–*** have detected the v=0 and 1 state rotational emission lines of CH_(3)*** also detected the two vibrationally excited states of HC_(3)N(v7=1 and v7=2).The estimated fractional abundances of C_(2)H_(5)CN,HC_(3)N(v7=1),HC_(3)N(v7=2),and NH_(2)CHO toward IRAs 18089–1732 are(1.40±0.5)×10^(-10),(7.5±0.7)×10^(-11),(3.1±0.4)×10^(-11),and(6.25±0.82)×10^(-11)***,the estimated fractional abundances of CH_(3)OCHO(v=0)and CH_(3)OCHO(v=1)are(1.90±0.9)×10^(-9)and(8.90±0.8)×10^(-10),*** also created the integrated emission maps of the detected molecules,and the observed molecules may have originated from the extended envelope of the *** show that C_(2)H_(5)CNand HC_(3)N are most probably formed via the subsequential hydrogenation of the CH_(2)CHCNand the reaction between C_(2)H_(2)and CN on the grain surface of IRAs 18089–*** found that NH_(2)CHO is probably produced due to the reaction between NH_(2)and H_(2)CO in the gas ***,CH_(3)OCHO is possibly created via the reaction between radical CH_(3)O and radical HCO on the grain surface of IRAs 18089–1732.

Background: Bifurcation lesions pose a high risk for adverse events after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Evidence supporting the benefits of the two-stent strategy (2ss) for treating coronary bifurcation lesions in India is limited. This study aimed to evaluate the clinical outcomes of various 2sss for percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty for bifurcation lesions in India. Materials and Methods: This retrospective, observational, multicentric, real-world study included 64 patients over 8 years. Data on demographics, medical history, PCI procedures, and outcomes were recorded. Descriptive statistics were computed using the sPss software. Results: Patients (n = 64) had an average age of 65.3 ± 11.1 years, with 78.1% males. Acute coronary syndrome was reported in 18.8%, chronic stable angina in 40.6%, and unstable angina in 34.4% of participants. Two-vessel disease was observed in 98.4% of patients, and 99.4% had true bifurcation lesions. The commonly involved vessels were the left anterior descending artery (50%), left circumflex coronary artery (34.4%), and first diagonal artery (43.8%). Mean percent diameter stenosis was 87.2% ± 10.1%. The mean number of stents used was 2.00 ± 0.34. The 2ss techniques included the T and small protrusion (TAP) (39.1%), double kissing (DK) crush (18.8%), and the culotte techniques (14.1%). Procedural and angiographic success rate was 92.18%. Major adverse cardiovascular events at 1-year follow-up occurred in 7.8% of cases. Conclusion: The 2ss for bifurcation lesions showed favorable in-hospital and follow-up outcomes. Findings can serve as a resource for bifurcation angioplasty in India. Larger real-world studies with robust methodology are needed to validate these results.
