Fluid-driven Hydrovolcanic Activity along Fracture Zones and near seamounts:Evidence from Deep-sea Fe-rich spherules,Central Indian Ocean Basin

An insight on occurrence of Fe-rich spherules from the Central Indian Ocean Basin(CIOB)provides an understanding of their distribution at a water depth of>5,000 *** the present study,Fe-rich spherules are identified to occur in two different sediment types(i.e.,siliceous and pelagic)and tectonic settings(*** seamounts and fracture zones).These are single spheres or aggregates,of different sizes(63 to 390μm)and show textural variability(smooth/quenched,brickwork,corkscrew,interlocking and dendritic).A comparative study based on physical morphology and chemical composition suggests a common mechanism of *** association of spherules with fracture zones(FZ)and seamounts signifies that morpho-tectonic features play an important role in fluid-driven *** on the evidence and geologic conditions existing in the basin,we conclude that molten fuel-coolant interaction(MFCI)coupled with submarine hydrothermal exhalations could be an ideal mechanism for the formation of spherules and *** accretion of the spherules on the surface sediments could be a result of recent volcanic phenomena,while those occurring at different depths(280-355,and 460-475 cm-bsf)within the sediment core indicate two different *** study provides a global implication in understanding fluid-driven magmatism in a deep-sea intraplate environment.

A stage structured model of malaria transmission and efficacy of mosquito larvicides in its control

In this paper,we analyze a stage structured mathematical model for the transmission of malaria and its control by killing mosquitoes in larvae(immature)*** the Mosquito and human populations are divided into susceptible and infective ***-ceptible class of mosquito population is further divided into mature and *** model is analyzed by using stability theory of nonlinear ordinary differential *** reproduction ratio is derived which is found to be the decreasing function of maturation delay and larvicidal *** addition,it is observed that biting rate of mosquito,transmission efficiency of parasitic infection from infective human to mosquito and critical value of maturation delay are the key parameters determining the stability switch in the *** simulation is also carried out to confirm the analytical results obtained in the paper.

sol-gel processed alumina(Al_(2)O_(3))thin film has been investigated for sensing *** sensor was based on ordered nanoporous Al_(2)O_(3)thin film,which consisted of gold electrodes on both sides of the film forming parallel plate *** substrate was used for supporting thin film moisture *** was achieved by controlling the surface energy of the substrate and polymer(polyvinyl alcohol(PVA))optimization was done for developing rigid thin film over it.A high change in capacitance was observed as the moisture level increased from 5 ppmV to 500 *** electron microscopy(sEM)results revealed that pores were distributed uniformly throughout the sample,which enhanced the adsorption of water molecule over the film.X-ray diffraction(XRD)study clearly confirmed the gamma(γ)phase of alumina thin *** was found that the sensitivity of our sensor was suitable for commercial application.

Intelligent Multilevel Node Authentication in Mobile Computing Using Clone Node

Nodes in a mobile computing system are vulnerable to clone attacks due to their *** such attacks,an adversary accesses a few network nodes,generates replication,then inserts this replication into the network,potentially resulting in numerous internal network *** existing techniques use a central base station,which introduces several difficulties into the system due to the network’s reliance on a single point,while other ways generate more overhead while jeopardising network *** this research,an intelligent double hashing-based clone node identification scheme was used,which reduces communication and memory costs while performing the clone detection *** approach works in two stages:in the first,the network is deployed using an intelligent double hashing procedure to avoid any network collisions and then in the second,the clone node identification procedure searches for any clone node in the *** first phase verifies the node prior to network deployment,and then,whenever a node wants to interact,it executes the second level of ***-to-end delay,which is bound to increase owing to the injection of clone nodes,and packet loss,which is reduced by the double hashing technique,were used to evaluate the performance of the aforementioned approach.

In this paper,a nonlinear mathematical model is proposed and analyzed to study the effects of population pressure augmented industrialization on the survival of competing species dependent on *** is assumed that the growths of competing species are logistic and carrying capacities increase with increase in the density of resource ***,it is assumed that the resource biomass too is growing logistically in the envi-ronment and its carrying capacity decreases with the increase in densities of competing species and *** growth rate of population pressure is assumed to be proportional to the densities of competing *** of all equilibria and con-ditions which influence the permanence of the system are carried out using theory of differential *** simulations are performed to accomplish our analytical *** is shown that the equilibrium density of resource biomass decreases as(i)the growth rate coefficient of population pressure increases(ii)the growth rate coeffi-cient of industrialization due to population pressure increases and(iii)the growth rate coefficient of industrialization due to resource biomass *** is found that the competitive outcome alters with increase in the growth rate coefficient of population *** in the equilibrium densities of competing species is also noted with increase in the growth rate coefficient of industrialization due to resource biomass.

The present paper demonstrates the applicability of finite element method of weighted residuals to study the effects of precipitation scavenging through raindrops on the steady-state dispersion of air pollutants in the atmosphere under realistic variable wind and diffusivity ***,the washout of pollutants by rain droplets is considered and the whole analysis for the pollutant concentration is carried out in two phases *** phase and droplet *** model solutions are obtained by using local basis and asymmetric quadratic weighting functions which can provide a promising alternative to the standard Galerkin formulation for problems with advective and diffusive *** results of the model reveal that the precipitation scavenging by rain is quite effective in cleaning the polluted *** the need of pollutant concentration in rain drops regarding acid precipitation(or acid rain),the concentration of the absorbed pollutant in the droplet phase are also ***,the present study provides an understanding on the concentration distribution of pollutant in gaseous and droplet phases,under the effects of variable wind and diffusivity profiles.

Ligand Based Virtual screening of Molecular Compounds in Drug Discovery Using GCAN Fingerprint and Ensemble Machine Learning Algorithm

The drug development process takes a long time since it requires sorting through a large number of inactive compounds from a large collection of compounds chosen for study and choosing just the most pertinent compounds that can bind to a disease *** use of virtual screening in pharmaceutical research is growing in *** the early phases of medication research and development,it is *** compound searches are nowmore narrowly *** the databases containmore andmore ligands,thismethod needs to be quick and *** network fingerprints were created more effectively than the well-known Extended Connectivity Fingerprint(ECFP).Only the largest sub-graph is taken into consideration to learn the representation,despite the fact that the conventional graph network generates a better-encoded *** using the average or maximum pooling layer,it also contains unrelated *** article suggested the Graph Convolutional Attention Network(GCAN),a graph neural network with an attention mechanism,to address these ***,it makes the nodes or sub-graphs that are used to create the molecular fingerprint more *** generated fingerprint is used to classify drugs using ensemble *** base classifiers,ensemble stacking is applied to support Vector Machines(sVM),Random Forest,Nave Bayes,Decision Trees,AdaBoost,and Gradient *** compared to existing models,the proposed GCAN fingerprint with an ensemble model achieves relatively high accuracy,sensitivity,specificity,and area under the ***,it is revealed that our ensemble learning with generated molecular fingerprint yields 91%accuracy,outperforming earlier approaches.

A detailed investigation on the effect of preparation method on the structural,magnetic,and acidic properties of cobalt ferrite nanoparticles prepared by sol-gel and co-precipitation is *** acid and ethylene glycol were used as gelling agents,while sodium hydroxide and aqueous ammonia were used as precipitating *** resulting ferrites were calcined at 450℃ and 750℃.sharper X-ray diffraction(XRD)peaks were observed for the samples calcined at 750℃,indicating greater crystallinity of the samples calcined at higher *** crystallite sizes fell in the ranges of 7.1-21.1 nm and 30.4-42.1 nm for the samples calcined at 450℃ and 750℃,*** infrared spectra revealed two main absorption bands,the high frequency bandν1 around 600 cm^(-1) and the low frequency bandν2 around 400 cm^(-1) arising from stretching vibrations of the oxygen bond with the metal in the tetrahedral(A)and octahedral(B)sites in the spinel *** of particles was observed in the scanning electron microscopy(sEM)*** parameters of CoFe_(2)O_(4) nanoparticles greatly depended on calcination temperature and preparation *** temperature programmed desorption(TPD)measurements indicated that weak acid sites predominate medium strength sites,while the number of strong acid sites is the *** acidity decreased for the samples calcined at higher *** results underline the effect of preparation conditions on the morphology,crystallite size,and magnetic properties of nano ferrites.

Giant magneto resistance and temperature coefficient of resistance in sm0.55sr0.30Ag0.15MnO3 perovskite

silver ions substituted samarium strontium manganite(sm0.55sr0.30Ag0.15MnO3) pervoskite was synthesized by using respective oxides in stoichiometric ratio through solid state reaction. The as-prepared sample was characterized by various analytical techniques to confirm its formation and understand the effect of monovalent silver ions in pervoskite lattice. X-ray diffraction pattern confirms the single phase formation while grain morphology in sEM image indicates good connectivity among the grains. The enhancement in metal to insulator transition temperature shows quenched disorder and magnetoresistance phenomena. The magnetoresistance（MR） and temperature coefficient of resistance（TCR） emerge from grain growth factor and homogeneity induced by Ag+ions in the lattice. The reduction in hysteresis loss resulted from antiferromagnetic-ferromagnetic（TN） and ferromagnetic- paramagnetic（Tc） transitions reveals the removal of disorder in perovskite lattice by Ag+ions substitution. This increases the magnetic moment across distinct ions on the applying magnetic field. The rise in MR%（99%） with silver doping emerging from smooth spin tunneling of the grains across the boundary and suppression of the disordered magnetic fluctuations with increase in magnetic field has been reported. The present compound exhibits the first order nature of magnetism and observed first time the highest value of TCR ~ 95%.
