Fluid-driven Hydrovolcanic Activity along Fracture Zones and near seamounts:Evidence from Deep-sea Fe-rich spherules,Central Indian Ocean Basin

An insight on occurrence of Fe-rich spherules from the Central Indian Ocean Basin(CIOB)provides an understanding of their distribution at a water depth of>5,000 *** the present study,Fe-rich spherules are identified to occur in two different sediment types(i.e.,siliceous and pelagic)and tectonic settings(*** seamounts and fracture zones).These are single spheres or aggregates,of different sizes(63 to 390μm)and show textural variability(smooth/quenched,brickwork,corkscrew,interlocking and dendritic).A comparative study based on physical morphology and chemical composition suggests a common mechanism of *** association of spherules with fracture zones(FZ)and seamounts signifies that morpho-tectonic features play an important role in fluid-driven *** on the evidence and geologic conditions existing in the basin,we conclude that molten fuel-coolant interaction(MFCI)coupled with submarine hydrothermal exhalations could be an ideal mechanism for the formation of spherules and *** accretion of the spherules on the surface sediments could be a result of recent volcanic phenomena,while those occurring at different depths(280-355,and 460-475 cm-bsf)within the sediment core indicate two different *** study provides a global implication in understanding fluid-driven magmatism in a deep-sea intraplate environment.

In this paper,we analyze a stage structured mathematical model for the transmission of malaria and its control by killing mosquitoes in larvae(immature)*** the Mosquito and human populations are divided into susceptible and infective ***-ceptible class of mosquito population is further divided into mature and *** model is analyzed by using stability theory of nonlinear ordinary differential *** reproduction ratio is derived which is found to be the decreasing function of maturation delay and larvicidal *** addition,it is observed that biting rate of mosquito,transmission efficiency of parasitic infection from infective human to mosquito and critical value of maturation delay are the key parameters determining the stability switch in the *** simulation is also carried out to confirm the analytical results obtained in the paper.

sol-gel processed alumina(Al_(2)O_(3))thin film has been investigated for sensing *** sensor was based on ordered nanoporous Al_(2)O_(3)thin film,which consisted of gold electrodes on both sides of the film forming parallel plate *** substrate was used for supporting thin film moisture *** was achieved by controlling the surface energy of the substrate and polymer(polyvinyl alcohol(PVA))optimization was done for developing rigid thin film over it.A high change in capacitance was observed as the moisture level increased from 5 ppmV to 500 *** electron microscopy(sEM)results revealed that pores were distributed uniformly throughout the sample,which enhanced the adsorption of water molecule over the film.X-ray diffraction(XRD)study clearly confirmed the gamma(γ)phase of alumina thin *** was found that the sensitivity of our sensor was suitable for commercial application.

Intelligent Multilevel Node Authentication in Mobile Computing Using Clone Node

Nodes in a mobile computing system are vulnerable to clone attacks due to their *** such attacks,an adversary accesses a few network nodes,generates replication,then inserts this replication into the network,potentially resulting in numerous internal network *** existing techniques use a central base station,which introduces several difficulties into the system due to the network’s reliance on a single point,while other ways generate more overhead while jeopardising network *** this research,an intelligent double hashing-based clone node identification scheme was used,which reduces communication and memory costs while performing the clone detection *** approach works in two stages:in the first,the network is deployed using an intelligent double hashing procedure to avoid any network collisions and then in the second,the clone node identification procedure searches for any clone node in the *** first phase verifies the node prior to network deployment,and then,whenever a node wants to interact,it executes the second level of ***-to-end delay,which is bound to increase owing to the injection of clone nodes,and packet loss,which is reduced by the double hashing technique,were used to evaluate the performance of the aforementioned approach.

Ligand Based Virtual screening of Molecular Compounds in Drug Discovery Using GCAN Fingerprint and Ensemble Machine Learning Algorithm

A detailed investigation on the effect of preparation method on the structural,magnetic,and acidic properties of cobalt ferrite nanoparticles prepared by sol-gel and co-precipitation is *** acid and ethylene glycol were used as gelling agents,while sodium hydroxide and aqueous ammonia were used as precipitating *** resulting ferrites were calcined at 450℃ and 750℃.sharper X-ray diffraction(XRD)peaks were observed for the samples calcined at 750℃,indicating greater crystallinity of the samples calcined at higher *** crystallite sizes fell in the ranges of 7.1-21.1 nm and 30.4-42.1 nm for the samples calcined at 450℃ and 750℃,*** infrared spectra revealed two main absorption bands,the high frequency bandν1 around 600 cm^(-1) and the low frequency bandν2 around 400 cm^(-1) arising from stretching vibrations of the oxygen bond with the metal in the tetrahedral(A)and octahedral(B)sites in the spinel *** of particles was observed in the scanning electron microscopy(sEM)*** parameters of CoFe_(2)O_(4) nanoparticles greatly depended on calcination temperature and preparation *** temperature programmed desorption(TPD)measurements indicated that weak acid sites predominate medium strength sites,while the number of strong acid sites is the *** acidity decreased for the samples calcined at higher *** results underline the effect of preparation conditions on the morphology,crystallite size,and magnetic properties of nano ferrites.

Giant magneto resistance and temperature coefficient of resistance in sm0.55sr0.30Ag0.15MnO3 perovskite

silver ions substituted samarium strontium manganite(sm0.55sr0.30Ag0.15MnO3) pervoskite was synthesized by using respective oxides in stoichiometric ratio through solid state reaction. The as-prepared sample was characterized by various analytical techniques to confirm its formation and understand the effect of monovalent silver ions in pervoskite lattice. X-ray diffraction pattern confirms the single phase formation while grain morphology in sEM image indicates good connectivity among the grains. The enhancement in metal to insulator transition temperature shows quenched disorder and magnetoresistance phenomena. The magnetoresistance(MR) and temperature coefficient of resistance(TCR) emerge from grain growth factor and homogeneity induced by Ag~+ ions in the lattice. The reduction in hysteresis loss resulted from antiferromagnetic-ferromagnetic(TN) and ferromagnetic- paramagnetic(Tc) transitions reveals the removal of disorder in perovskite lattice by Ag~+ ions substitution. This increases the magnetic moment across distinct ions on the applying magnetic field. The rise in MR%(~99%) with silver doping emerging from smooth spin tunneling of the grains across the boundary and suppression of the disordered magnetic fluctuations with increase in magnetic field has been reported. The present compound exhibits the first order nature of magnetism and observed first time the highest value of TCR ~ 95%.

人工鱼礁构建对维护海洋生态和保护渔业资源至关重要。在人工鱼礁设计中,开孔形状和尺寸是关键要素,对鱼类的聚集行为有着显著性影响。针对人工鱼礁区常见的礁栖鱼类红鳍笛鲷(Lutjanus erythropterus),设计制作了不同开孔形状(圆形、正方形、菱形)和尺寸(1.0、2.0、3.0、4.0 cm)的人工鱼礁模型,观察了在室内实验池中其对幼鱼的吸引作用及其行为变化。结果显示,在未设置人工鱼礁模型的情况下,幼鱼主要聚集在实验池的边缘区域;而放入鱼礁模型后,幼鱼在鱼礁区的平均分布比例显著上升(p0.05),但菱形处理组的比例最高[(19.84±6.08)%]。在开孔尺寸的研究中,3个处理组的平均分布率存在显著性差异(ps^(-1)降至(4.29±1.59)cm·s^(-1),平均加速度从(106.93±69.17)cm·s^(-2)降至(54.45±21.47)cm·s^(-2),活动时间百分比从(68.01±8.61)%减至(40.29±11.85)%,且在圆形、正方形和菱形4.0 cm组中均为最低。研究表明,这一阶段的红鳍笛鲷幼鱼对开孔为圆形、尺寸为4.0 cm组的人工鱼礁模型有最强的趋向性,同时其活跃程度相对较低,诱集效果最为显著。
