Dynamic operation and control of power system is being increasingly done with the help of phasor measurement unit(PmU) based wide area monitoring and control system. The data communication requirements for the PmU based applications are well addressed by IEEE C37.118.2 standard. However, IEC 61850 is now becoming a leading standard for power utility automation needs. A new part of IEC 61850, IEC 61850-90-5, specifying the IEEE C37.118.1 based synchrophasors data transfer according to IEC 61850, will lead to IEC 61850-90-5 based PmU communication networks. A novel IEC 61850-90-5 compliant communication model of PmU is proposed in this paper. We also present a comparative performance analysis of the PmU communication networks supporting the new synchrophasor standard for data transfer, i.e. IEC61850-90-5, and the existing standard, i.e. IEEE C37.118.2, for end to end(ETE) delay requirements for a modified IEEE 30 bus test system.

The conventional power systems are evolving as smart *** recent times cyberattacks on smart grids have been *** different attacks,False Data Injection(FDI)is considered as an emerging threat that has significant *** exploiting the vulnerabilities of IEC 61850 Generic Object-Oriented substation Events(GOOsE)and sam-pled Values(sV)attackers can launch different FDI *** this paper,a real-time set up capable of simulating FDI on GOOsE and sV protocols is developed to evaluate the impact of such attacks on power *** 62351 stipulates cybersecurity guidelines for GOOsE and sV,but only at communication or Information Technology(IT)*** there is a need to develop a holistic security both at IT and Operation Technology(OT)*** this regard,a novel sequence content resolver-based hybrid security scheme suitable to tackle FDI attacks on GOOsE and sV is ***,the computational performance of the proposed hybrid security scheme is presented to demonstrate its applicability to the time critical GOOsE and sV protocols.

The present study explores the physical and acoustic characteristics of fine sand and clay in novel seabed marine sediments from of Pakistan coastline of the Arabian *** measured physical parameters included mean grain size,mass density,bulk density,salinity,porosity,permeability,pore size and mineralogical *** properties,including sound speed and attenuation,in the high frequency range of 90-170 kHz were analyzed.A controlled laboratory setup with the acoustic transmission method and Fourier transform techniques was utilized to examine the sound propagation and absorption of novel seabed *** standard deviation of mean sound speed in fresh water was 0.75 m/s,and attenuation was observed in the range of 0.43 to 0.61 dB/*** mean sound velocity in sand and clay varied from 1706 to 1709 m/s and 1602 to 1608 m/s,*** average attenuation was observed at 80 to 93 dB/m in sandy sediments and from 31.8 to 38.6 dB/m in clayey *** velocity variation within sandy sediment is low,consistent with expected results,and smaller than the predicted ***,clay sediment exhibited a positive linear correlation and low sound speed *** increased linearly with frequency for both ***,the laboratory results were validated by using the Biot−stoll *** dispersion of sound speed in sandy and clayey sediments was consistent with the predictions of the Biot−stoll *** attenuation aligned more with Biot−stoll model predictions due to improved permeability,tortuosity and pore size parameter fitting.

The high-gap plant protection machine is taken in this paper as the research object to ensure the good driving power and safety of the high-gap plant protection machine,and the control strategy of inter-shaft torque distribution is established under different working conditions to improve vehicle power and lateral *** anticipated demand torque is initially determined based on the structural characteristics and operational principles of the plant protection ***,a hierarchical control framework is devised by incorporating a formulated switching control ***,a simulation model for torque distribution control strategy between shafts is developed on the matlab/simulink platform,followed by simulation and experimental *** results are presented as follows:the inter-shaft torque distribution strategy established in this paper increases the average longitudinal acceleration by 0.13 m/s^(2) and 0.14 m/s^(2) under the control of low and high to low adhesion road surfaces,*** the control of the single-line shifting condition,the yaw velocity can successfully follow the expected value with a maximum value of 0.61 rad/*** side deflection angle of the center of mass does not exceed 2.8°,which can follow the ideal trajectory and improve power and safety.
