Brain tumors pose a significant threat to human lives and have gained increasing attention as the tenth leading cause of global *** study addresses the pressing issue of brain tumor classification using magnetic resonance imaging(mRI).It focuses on distinguishing between Low-Grade Gliomas(LGG)and High-Grade Gliomas(HGG).LGGs are benign and typically manageable with surgical resection,while HGGs are malignant and more *** research introduces an innovative custom convolutional neural network(CNN)model,*** stands out as a lightweight CNN model compared to its *** research utilized the BraTs 2020 dataset for its *** with the gradient-boosting algorithm,GliomaCNN has achieved an impressive accuracy of 99.1569%.The model’s interpretability is ensured through sHapley Additive exPlanations(sHAP)and Gradient-weighted Class Activation mapping(Grad-CAm++).They provide insights into critical decision-making regions for classification *** challenges in identifying tumors in images without visible signs,the model demonstrates remarkable performance in this critical medical application,offering a promising tool for accurate brain tumor diagnosis which paves the way for enhanced early detection and treatment of brain tumors.

The utilization of piezo-photocatalytic technol ogy for environmental remediation under full spectrum solar light is promising but still ***,one dimensional Bi2s3nanowires,which can utilize both mechanical energy and near-infrared （NIR） light to remov hexavalent chromium (Cr （VI）) efficiently,were synthe sized by a restrained growth *** reaction rat constants of Cr （VI） reduction in piezo-photocatalyti process under NIR （800–2500 nm） reached 0.334 min-1which were 3.2 and 12.4 times as that of single piezo and photocatalytic *** formation of polarized electri fields and one-dimensional structure allow ultrafast sepa ration of charge carriers,thereby promoting the catalyti ***,due to the strong penetrability o NIR light,the piezo-photocatalysis performance in turbid solutions under NIR light (0.188 min-1) was even com parable to that under visible light (0.186 min-1).Thi study provides a new concept on the development of piezo photocatalytic technology for environmental remediation by utilization of NIR light and natural mechanical energy.

Engineering of efficient visible light photocatalysts:Ti_(1-x+y)Cu_(x)La_(y)O_(2)(x=0.03;y=0,0.005,0.01) compositions

In dye-photocatalysis, widening the wavelengths absorption range of catalysts as well as aborting the recombination of the photoexcited charge carriers(electrons-holes pairs) are of paramount *** the current study, we report the photocatalytic characteristics of four compositions composed of TiO_(2),Ti_(0.97)Cu_(0.03)O_(2), Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)powders for two harmful dyes(Congo red and methylene blue). The X-ray diffraction technique verified the configuration of mixed anatase and rutile phases in pure TiO_(2)and Ti_(0.97)Cu_(0.03)O_(2)powders while Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)powders possess anatase phase only. The changes of the band gap structure and dimensions of the unit cell volume of TiO_(2)confirm the substitution of Ti^(4+)sites by Cu^(2+)and La^(3+)ions. Remarkable widening of wavelengths absorption with formation of long absorption tails were found in TiO_(2)(3.13 e V) through insertion of La^(3+)plus Cu^(2+)ions. Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)samples exhibit a visible light band gap of 2.3 and 2.7 e V, respectively. Based on sEm images, incorporation of Cu^(2+)and La^(3+)ions influences the surface morphology of TiO_(2). The resulting Ti_(0.97)Cu_(0.03)O_(2), Ti_(0.965)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)powders present enhanced photocatalytic activity towards Congo red dye degradation compared to pure one under natural solar spectrum. The best Ti_(0.96)Cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)catalyst exhibits superior photocatalytic activity of 96% for 10 ppm CR dye in 20 min as well as above average photocatalytic efficiency of 63% for 30 ppm CR dye in 120 min. As well, it showed acceptable photodegradation activity of 52% for 30 ppm mB solution in 140 min of sunlight irradiation. Direct microwave leaching conditions of rare earth elements in fluorescent wastes

The luminescent phosphor powder in the fluorescent lamp constitutes 2%of the lamp’s *** can be mentioned that fluorescent wastes are a crucial raw material to produce rare earth *** the present study,microwave leaching process was conducted to dissolve rare earth elements yttrium(Y),europium(Eu),and remaining rare earth elements(REEs)present in the phosphor powder of the fluorescent *** the yields were *** the microwave leaching process,the effects of the temperature(80-160℃),acid type(hydrochloric acid(HCl),nitric acid(HNO_(3)),sulphuric acid(H_(2)sO_(4))),acid concentration(0.5-6 mol/L),solid to liquid ratio(0.1:10-0.5:10)and reaction time(5-90 min)parameters on leaching efficiencies of varying rare earth elements and calcium were *** highest yield was obtained in the direct microwave leaching of fluorescent waste with the experimental conditions of 6 mol/L HCl,160℃,0.1:10 solid-to-liquid ratio(s:L),and 90 *** energy calculations were made,and kinetic models of the reactions were obtained,and it is observed that Y and Eu dissolution is diffusion-controlled,on the other hand,lanthanum(La),cerium(Ce),and terbium(Tb)were examined to be chemical reaction ***,calcium(Ca)and gadolinium(Gd)seem coherent with the mixed ***,mathematical models of all experimental studies are created with the response surface Box-Behnken method and the correlation coefficients of all the models are over 90%.

4He monolayer on graphene: a quantum monte Carlo study

We revisit the problem of adsorption of a single4He layer on graphene, focusing on the commensurate(C1/3) crystalline phase, specifically on whether it may possess a nonzero superfluid response, and on the existence of superfluid phases, either（metastable） liquid or vacancy-doped crystalline. We make use of canonical quantum monte Carlo simulations at zero and finite temperature, based on a realistic microscopic model of the system. Our results confirm the absence of any superfluid response in the commensurate crystal, and that no thermodynamically stable uniform phase exists at lower coverage. No evidence of a possibly long-lived, metastable superfluid phase at C1/3coverage is found. Altogether, the results of ground-state projection methods and finite-temperature simulations are entirely consistent.

The hazardous environmental effects of greenhouse gas emissions and climate change demand alternative sources for cementitious materials in the construction *** development of geopolymer structures provides a way of producing 100%cement-free *** this research work,a novel and simple way of deriving nano particles from waste fly ash particles is *** effect of adding the synthesized nano fly ash particles as a filler medium in geopolymer mortars was investigated by considering strength and durability *** optimization was done by using regression analysis on the geopolymer mortar and the impact of adding nano fly ash particles was studied by varying different percentages of addition ranging from 0 to 7.5%by weight of binder *** the results,it was observed that 1%nano fly ash acted not only as a filler but also as nano-sized precursors of the polymerization process,resulting in denser geopolymer *** can explain the extraordinary gain in strength of 72.11 mPa as well as the denser core with negligible level of chloride ion penetration,making the material suitable for the development of structures susceptible to marine environment.

Broadband electromagnetic(Em)wave absorption materials play an important role in military stealth and health ***,metal–organic frameworks(mOFs)-derived magnetic-carbon CoNim@C(m=Cu,Zn,Fe,mn)microspheres are fabricated,which exhibit flower-like nano–microstructure with tunable Em response *** on the mOFs-derived CoNi@C microsphere,the adjacent third element is introduced into magnetic CoNi alloy to enhance Em wave absorption *** term of broadband absorption,the order of efficient absorption bandwidth(EAB)value is mn>Fe=Zn>Cu in the CoNim@C ***,mOFs-derived flower-like CoNimn@C microspheres hold outstanding broadband absorption and the EAB can reach up to 5.8 GHz(covering 12.2–18 GHz at 2.0 mm thickness).Besides,off-axis electron holography and computational simulations are applied to elucidate the inherent dielectric dissipation and magnetic *** heterointerfaces in CoNimn@C promote the aggregation of the negative/positive charges at the contacting region,forming interfacial *** graphitized carbon layer catalyzed by the magnetic CoNimn core offered the electron mobility path,boosting the conductive *** importantly,magnetic coupling is observed in the CoNimn@C to strengthen the magnetic responding *** study provides a new guide to build broadband Em absorption by regulating the ternary magnetic alloy.

Global images of auroras obtained by cameras on spacecraft are a key tool for studying the near-Earth ***,the cameras are sensitive not only to auroral emissions produced by precipitating particles,but also to dayglow emissions produced by photoelectrons induced by *** emissions and scattered sunlight can contribute to the background *** fully utilize such images in space science,background contamination must be removed to isolate the auroral *** we outline a data-driven approach to modeling the background intensity in multiple images by formulating linear inverse problems based on B-splines and spherical *** approach is robust,flexible,and iteratively deselects outliers,such as auroral *** final model is smooth across the terminator and accounts for slow temporal variations and large-scale asymmetries in the *** demonstrate the model by using the three far ultraviolet cameras on the Imager for magnetopause-to-Aurora Global Exploration(ImAGE)*** method can be applied to historical missions and is relevant for upcoming missions,such as the solar wind magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(smILE)mission.

Non-radical activation of persulfate(Ps)by photocatalysts is an effective approach for removing organic pollutants from aqueous *** this study,a novel Bi_(2)O_(3)/BiO_(1.3)I_(0.4)heterojunction was synthesized using a facile solvothermal approach and used for the first time for non-radical activation of Ps to degrade propranolol(PRO)in the presence of visible *** findings found that the degradation rate of PRO in the Bi_(2)O_(3)/BiO_(1.3)I_(0.4)/Ps system was significantly increased from 19%to more than 90%within 90 min compared to the Bi_(2)O_(3)/BiO_(1.3)I_(0.4)*** indicated that the composite system exerted an excellent synergistic effect between the photocatalyst and the persulfate-based *** tests and electron paramagnetic resonance demonstrated that the non-radical pathway with singlet oxygen as the active species played a major role in the photocatalytic *** existence of photo-generated holes during the reaction could also be directly involved in the oxidation of ***,a possible PRO degradation pathway was also ***,the impacts of pH,humic acid and common anions on the PRO degradation by the Bi_(2)O_(3)/BiO_(1.3)I_(0.4)/Ps were explored,and the system’s stability and reusability were also *** study exhibits a highly productive catalyst for Ps activation via a non-radical pathway and provides a new idea for the degradation of PRO.

QCD sum rule study of J^(P)=1^(±)exotic states with two heavy quarks in the molecular picture

In this study,the spectroscopic parameters of exotic molecular states composed of mesons containing two heavy quarks(scalar-axial and pseudoscalar-axial meson combinations)are investigated within the QCD sum *** findings reveal that molecular states containing charm quarks do not form bound states,whereas states with b-quarks can form exotic molecular *** observation has significant implications for understanding the structure of these exotic states.
