BACKGROUND Anti-programmed death-1/programmed death-ligand 1(PD-1/PD-L1)immuno-therapy has demonstrated promising results on gastric cancer(GC).However,PD-L1 can express differently between metastatic sites and primary tumors(PT).AIM To compare PD-L1 status in PT and matched lymph node metastases(LNM)of GC patients and to determine the correlation between the PD-L1 status and clinicopathological *** We retrospectively reviewed 284 GC patients who underwent ***-L1 was evaluated by immunohistochemistry(clone sP142)using the com-bined positive *** PD-L1+PT staged as pN+were also tested for PD-L1 expression in their ***-L1(-)GC with pN+served as the comparison *** Among 284 GC patients included,45 had PD-L1+PT and 24 of them had pN+.For comparison,44 PD-L1(-)cases with pN+were included(sample loss of 4 cases).Of the PD-L1+PT,54.2%(13/24 cases)were also PD-L1+in the *** PD-L1(-)PT,9.1%(4/44)had PD-L1+in the *** agreement between PT and LNM had a kappa value of *** tumor size and moderate/severe peritumoral inflammatory response were associated with PD-L1 positivity in both *** was no statistical difference in overall survival for PT and LNM according to the PD-L1 status(P=0.166 and P=0.837,respectively).CONCLUsION Intra-patient heterogeneity in PD-L1 expression was observed between the PT and matched *** disagreement in PD-L1 status may emphasize the importance of considering different tumor sites for analyses to select patients for immunotherapy.

Warthin’s tumor is the second most frequent neoplasm next to pleomorphic adenoma in the salivary gland. The tumor contains the epithelial oncocyte cells with the presence of rich-mitochondria and their surrounding abundant lymphocytes. A relatively new disease entity of IgG4-related disease frequently occurs in the salivary gland. However, the coexistence of Warthin’s tumor and IgG4-related disease is scarcely observed. We have recently experienced a rare case of Warthin’s tumor with IgG4-related sialadenitis. A 51-year-old man presented to our hospital, complaining of a mass with right submandibular tenderness and spontaneous pain. A computed tomography scan of the cervical region revealed a suspicion of lymph node proliferative disease, including malignant lymphoma. Elevated serum levels of IL-2R: 1843 U/ml (reference value 122 - 496 U/ml), IgG: 3430 mg/dl (reference value 861 - 1747 mg/dl), and IgG4: 3140 mg/dl (reference value 11 - 121 mg/dl) were observed. Other laboratory data showed within normal ranges. The cervical tumor was diagnosed as Warthin’s tumor by the findings of fine-needle aspiration cytology and biopsy examination. Immunohistochemistry revealed numerous IgG4- and IgG-positive cells with fibrosis surrounding the epithelial component of Warthin’s tumor, suggesting IgG4-rerated sialadenitis. Finally, we diagnosed the cervical tumor as Warthin tumor with IgG4-related sialadenitis. This is the second report describing a case of Warthin’s tumor with possible involvement of IgG4-related sialadenitis.

High-performance all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries require observation,control,and optimization of the electrode structure.X-ray computational tomography(CT)is an effective nondestructive method for observing the electrode structure in three ***,the limited availability of synchrotron radiation CT,which offers high-resolution imaging with a high signal-to-noise ratio,makes it difficult to conduct experiments and restricts the use of X-ray CT in battery ***,laboratory CT systems are widely available,but they use X-rays emitted from a metal target,resulting in lower image quality and resolution compared with synchrotron radiation *** study explores a method for achieving comparable resolution in laboratory CT images of all-solid-state batteries to that of synchrotron radiation *** method involves using the synchrotron radiation CT images as training data for machine learning *** results demonstrate that,by employing an appropriate machine learning algorithm and activation function,along with a sufficiently deep network,the image quality of laboratory CT becomes equivalent to that of synchrotron radiation CT.

Although the Japan society of Obstetrics and Gynecology （JsOG） endorses new-type PGD using CGH for only carriers of balanced chromosomal translocations, it is against the ethical guidelines of the JsOG to decide whether or not embryos should be implanted due to aneuploidy discovered as a result of new-type PGD. In the author＇s opinion, it should be at the discretion of the JsOG＇s own randomized controlled trials, which should involve multiple facilities, whether or not a scientific basis can be found for the value of the new-type PGD in cases of recurrent miscarriage, in cases of implantation failure, and in cases where the women are of advanced maternal age. Dr. Netsu＇s 36 cases of selective reduction may be against the Japanese Maternal Health Protection Law that prohibits abortion due to congenital disease, but with the backdrop that there are many abortions that are performed as a result of parental convenience in Japan, it is difficult to understand the difference between the over 300,000 abortions that are performed every year in Japan and Dr. Netsu＇s prescribed surgery which is designed to selectively reduce fetuses with congenital disease for the purpose of evading physical danger for women with multiple gestations.

本文发展了基于Front Tracking的直接数值模拟方法研究气液两相界面的迁移特性,该方法对气液两相采用半隐式的分步法直接求解N-s方程,耦合Front Tracking Method获得两相界面的三维变形。针对无边界以及垂直壁面附近静止水中的单个气泡上升过程进行模拟,研究气泡运动的机理以及气泡与壁面的相互作用。数值模拟准确再现了气泡的上升过程和变形,不同Re数下气泡的上升速度计算结果同经验关联式非常吻合,验证了该方法的有效性。随后分析了气泡周围流场的结构,发现壁面对气泡周围流场的抑制是壁面对气泡作用力的主要原因,将导致气泡逐渐偏离垂直壁面。

Many difficult-to-cut materials such as Ni-base super alloy, titanium alloy, and austenite stainless steel which are used extensively in aerospace generally have high strength-to-weight ratios, high corrosion resistance, high strength retention ability at elevated temperatures, and low thermal conductivity. These characteristics can result in uneven tool wear and chatter vibration. Therefore, determining the appropriate end-milling conditions is more difficult for difficult-to-cut materials than for other materials. There has been much research on the high-speed milling of difficult-to-cut materials, and effective end-milling conditions, end-mill tool shapes, and processing methods have been reported. In addition, irregular pitch and lead end-mills with different helix angles have been developed by tool maker＇s to reduce chatter vibration, making it easier to perform high-speed milling. However, there have been few reports of slotting information useful for determining appropriate end-milling conditions and processing methods for Ni-base super alloy. The aim of this study is to derive end-milling condition with high efficiency grooving process for Ni-base super alloy （Inconel 718） sheet. Effects of cutting parameters were examined from the view point of cutting resistance, ＂tool tip maximum temperature and tool flank wear width. As a result from experiments, if the grooving process condition of axial depth of cut is smaller than other conditions on the same material removable rate value, it has been found that it is possible to reduce the tool tip maximum temperature and prolong the tool life.
