Use of surface Observations to Estimate Upper Air Humidity for the Objective Analysis of Relative Humidity over Indian Region

In the present study objective analyses of relative humidity (RH) at surface and at the levels of 850, 700 and 500 hPa have been made using gandin's (1963) optimum interpolation scheme. As the horizontal resolution of the radiosonde stations is rather inadequate for upper air humidity analysis, a scheme has been developed, following Rasmussen (1982) to estimate the upper air RH from the surface observations like surface RH, present weather and cloud cover. The relative humidities at the levels 850, 700 and 500 hPa were related to the surface observations through three separate regression relations. The RH values at 850, 700 and 500 hPa levels were estimated from the surface RH, cloud coverage and present weather using the above regression relations and subsequently the objective analyses at 00 gMT for the period from 4 July to 8 July 1979, were made using these estimated data along with the observed radiosonde data. Objective analyses were also made for the same period using only the radiosonde data for comparison to study the impact of those estimated data. Root mean square errors were computed for all the five days by interpolating RH at the observing stations from the objectively analysed field and comparing them with the actually observed RH to examine how best the analyses (with and without estimated data) fitted the observations. Lastly they were compared with satellite cloud pictures. This study shows that the estimated upper air RH values have positive impact on the analysis of upper air RH and could be used over radiosonde data sparse region and even over oceanic regions.

The commollly used objective analysis scheme(scheme-A) for the analysis Of wind and geopotential height smoothen the divergent component of the wind which is rather important in the tropics,specifically over convective *** overcome this deficiellcy, a new analysis sCheme in which divergent component is included in the statistical model of the wind forecast errors,has been proposed by Daley(1985).Following this scheme,a new set of correlahon functions of forecast errors for the indian region during monsoon season which are suitable for analysing the tropical wind are *** analysis scheme(scheme--B) as well as scheme-A were used to make analyses for the period from 4 July to & July 1979(12 gMT) at 850,700 and 200 hpa levels over an area bounded by l.875'N to 39.375'N and 41.250'E to 108.750'E and subsequently divergent component,velocity potential are computed for both *** from both these schemes show that in the monsoon depression region the velocity potential and divergence have increased in the later case(scheme-B).This suggests that the divergent component has been enhanced in scheme-B and that the objechve of this study is realized to some extent.

In weak field limits, we compute the deflection angle of a gravitational decoupling extended black hole(BH) solution. We obtained the gaussian optical curvature by examining the null geodesic equations with the help of gauss–Bonnet theorem(gBT). We also looked into the deflection angle of light by a black hole in weak field limits with the use of the gibbons–Werner method. We verify the graphical behavior of the black hole after determining the deflection angle of light. Additionally, in the presence of the plasma medium, we also determine the deflection angle of the light and examine its graphical behavior. Furthermore, we compute the Einstein ring via gravitational decoupling extended black hole solution. We also compute the quasi-periodic oscillations and discuss their graphical behavior.

A distinguished category of operational fluids, known as hybrid nanofluids,occupies a prominent role among various fluid types owing to its superior heat transfer properties. By employing a dovetail fin profile, this work investigates the thermal reaction of a dynamic fin system to a hybrid nanofluid with shape-based properties, flowing uniformly at a velocity U. The analysis focuses on four distinct types of nanoparticles,i.e., Al2O3, Ag, carbon nanotube (CNT), and graphene. specifically, two of these particles exhibit a spherical shape, one possesses a cylindrical form, and the final type adopts a platelet morphology. The investigation delves into the pairing of these *** examination employs a combined approach to assess the constructional and thermal exchange characteristics of the hybrid nanofluid. The fin design, under the specified circumstances, gives rise to the derivation of a differential equation. The given equation is then transformed into a dimensionless form. Notably, the Hermite wavelet method is introduced for the first time to address the challenge posed by a moving fin submerged in a hybrid nanofluid with shape-dependent features. To validate the credibility of this research, the results obtained in this study are systematically compared with the numerical simulations. The examination discloses that the highest heat flux is achieved when combining nanoparticles with spherical and platelet shapes.

We show that when A is a separable C^(*)-algebra,every countably generated Hilbert A-module is projective(with bounded module maps as morphisms).We also study the approximate extensions of bounded module *** the case where A is aσ-unital simple C^(*)-algebra with strict comparison,and every strictly positive lower semicontinuous affine function on quasitraces can be realized as the rank of an element in the Cuntz semigroup,we show that the Cuntz semigroup is equivalent to unitarily equivalent classes of countably generated Hilbert A-modules if and only if A has stable rank one.
