AutoRhythmAI: A Hybrid Machine and Deep Learning Approach for Automated Diagnosis of Arrhythmias

In healthcare,the persistent challenge of arrhythmias,a leading cause of global mortality,has sparked extensive research into the automation of detection using machine learning(ML)***,traditional ML and AutoML approaches have revealed their limitations,notably regarding feature generalization and automation *** glaring research gap has motivated the development of AutoRhythmAI,an innovative solution that integrates both machine and deep learning to revolutionize the diagnosis of *** approach encompasses two distinct pipelines tailored for binary-class and multi-class arrhythmia detection,effectively bridging the gap between data preprocessing and model *** validate our system,we have rigorously tested AutoRhythmAI using a multimodal dataset,surpassing the accuracy achieved using a single dataset and underscoring the robustness of our *** the first pipeline,we employ signal filtering and ML algorithms for preprocessing,followed by data balancing and split for *** second pipeline is dedicated to feature extraction and classification,utilizing deep learning ***,we introduce the‘RRI-convoluted trans-former model’as a novel addition for binary-class *** ensemble-based approach then amalgamates all models,considering their respective weights,resulting in an optimal model *** our study,the VGGRes Model achieved impressive results in multi-class arrhythmia detection,with an accuracy of 97.39%and firm performance in precision(82.13%),recall(31.91%),and f1-score(82.61%).In the binary-class task,the proposed model achieved an outstanding accuracy of 96.60%.These results highlight the effectiveness of our approach in improving arrhythmia detection,with notably high accuracy and well-balanced performance metrics.

Unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)have been widely used in military,medical,wireless communications,aerial surveillance,*** key topic involving UAVs is pose estimation in autonomous navigation.A standard procedure for this process is to combine inertial navigation system sensor information with the global navigation satellite system(GNss)***,some factors can interfere with the GNss signal,such as ionospheric scintillation,jamming,or *** alternative method to avoid using the GNss signal is to apply an image processing approach by matching UAV images with georeferenced *** a high effort is required for image edge *** a support vector regression(sVR)model is proposed to reduce this computational load and processing *** dynamic partial reconfiguration(DPR)of part of the sVR datapath is implemented to accelerate the process,reduce the area,and analyze its granularity by increasing the grain size of the reconfigurable *** show that the implementation in hardware is 68 times faster than that in *** architecture with DPR also facilitates the low power consumption of 4 mW,leading to a reduction of 57%than that without *** is also the lowest power consumption in current machine learning hardware ***,the circuitry area is 41 times *** with Gaussian kernel shows a success rate of 99.18%and minimum square error of 0.0146 for testing with the planning *** system is useful for adaptive applications where the user/designer can modify/reconfigure the hardware layout during its application,thus contributing to lower power consumption,smaller hardware area,and shorter execution time.

Electron kinetic effects in back-stimulated Raman scattering bursts driven by broadband laser pulses

We examine electron kinetic effects in broadband-laser-driven back-stimulated Raman scattering(BsRs)bursts using particle-in-cell *** bursts occur during the nonlinear stage,causing reflectivity spikes and generating large numbers of hot ***-duration simulations are performed to observe burst events,and a simplified model is developed to eliminate the interference of the broadband laser’s random intensity *** the simplified model,we isolate and characterize the spectrum of electron plasma *** spectrum changes from a sideband structure to a turbulence-like structure during the burst.A significant asymmetry in the spectrum is *** asymmetry is amplified and transferred to electron phase space by high-intensity broadband laser pulses,leading to violent vortex-merging and generation of hot *** proportion of hot electrons increases from 6.76%to 14.7%during a single violent burst *** demonstrate that kinetic effects profoundly influence the BsRs evolution driven by broadband lasers.

This study reflects on the impact that the neighborhoods’in-between spaces have on:spatial perception,social interaction,and *** sites,characterized by their abandonment and deterioration,can also be seen as crucial spaces of opportunity for cities,in the architectural,urban and landscape *** paper aims to analyze the sociospatial relationships in the neighborhoods’in-between spaces and examine the impact of inbetween space configuration on urban *** investigation draws on a survey of perception to residents about the requirements for a suitable social interaction in these *** study was developed in a neighborhood in the city periphery,characterized by their social dynamics and location in a nature conservation *** findings indicate that the appropriation process,activities,and collective practices are dependent on the spatial legibility,in this case when this increases,gives rise to improve the habitability and the rehabilitation of the in-between ***,the lack of design on in-between spaces substantially affects the use of these spaces and the social interaction among residents.

One-neutron stripping process between^(6)Li and^(209)Bi was studied at 28,30,and 34 MeV using the in-beamγ-ray spectroscopy ***γ-γcoincident analysis clearly identified twoγ-rays feeding the ground and long-lived isomeric states,which were employed to determine the cross *** one-neutron stripping cross sections were similar to the cross sections of complete fusion in the^(6)Li+^(209)Bi system,but the one-neutron stripping cross sections decreased more gradually at the sub-barrier region.A coupled-reaction-channel calculation was performed to study the detailed reaction mechanism of the one-neutron stripping process in^(6)*** calculations indicated that the first excited state of 5 Li is critical in the actual one-neutron transfer mechanism,and the valence proton of 209Bi can be excited to the low-lying excited state in(^(6)Li,^(5)Li)reaction,unlike in the(d,p)reaction.

Rational design of robust and transparent superrepellent surfaces for long-term marine antifouling

superhydrophobic surfaces have demonstrated exceptional efficacy in combatting biofouling contaminations of optical devices and equipment in marine applications. However, the fabrication of highly transparent superhydrophobic materials remains a formidable challenge due to the inherent trade-off between surface roughness for superhydrophobicity and optical ***, we design a robust and transparent superhydrophobic coating(si-POss) embedded silica nanoparticles(200 nm) with fluorinated polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes(f-POss) and zinc pyrithione(ZPT). The si-POss coating exhibits excellent water repellence toward diverse liquids and optical transmittance exceeding 90% in the visible spectrum. Moreover, the si-POss coating sustains long-term anti-bacterial(> 99.11%) and anti-algal effects for over 30 days, accompanied by mechanical,chemical, and thermal stability. This research asserts that the si-POss coating with outstanding combined characteristics holds significant potential for marine applications, particularly in self-cleaning and antifouling endeavors.

sepsis poses a serious threat to health of children in pediatric intensive care *** mortality from pediatric sepsis can be effectively reduced through in-time diagnosis and therapeutic *** bacilliculture detection method is too time-consuming to receive timely *** this research,we propose a new framework:a deep encoding network with cross features(Cf-DEN)that enables accurate early detection of *** features are automatically constructed via the gradient boosting decision tree and distilled into the deep encoding network(DEN)we *** DEN is aimed at learning sufficiently effective representation from clinical test *** layer of the DEN fltrates the features involved in computation at current layer via attention mechanism and outputs the current prediction which is additive layer by layer to obtain the embedding feature at last *** framework takes the advantage of tree-based method and neural network method to extract effective representation from small clinical dataset and obtain accurate prediction in order to prompt patient to get timely *** evaluate the performance of the framework on the dataset collected from shanghai Children's Medical *** with common machine learning methods,our method achieves the increase on f1-score by 16.06%on the test set.

Molecular Chain flexibility and Dielectric Loss at High-frequency:Impact of Ester Bond Arrangement in Poly(ester imide)s

The evolution of high-frequency communication has accentuated the significance of controlling dielectric properties in polymer ***,it has been theorized that rigid molecular chains lead to lower dielectric ***,the validity of this proposition at high frequencies remains *** scrutinize the correlation between chain flexibility and dielectric properties,we synthesized six poly(ester imide)s(PEIs)with systematically varied molecular chain flexibilities by modifying the ester's substitution on the aromatic *** introduction of ester bonds bestowed all PEI films with a low dielectric dissipation factor(D_(f)),ranging from 0.0021 to 0.0038 at 10 GHz in dry *** dry D_(f)displayed a pattern consistent with volume polarizability(P/V).Unexpectedly,PI-mmm-T,featu ring the most flexible molecular chain,exhibited the lowest dielectric loss under both dry(0.0021@10 GHz)and hygroscopic(0.0029@10 GHz)***,the observed increase in D_(f)after humidity absorption suggests that the high dielectric loss of PEI in applications may be attributed to its hygroscopic *** simulations and characterization of the aggregation structure revealed that the smaller cavities within flexible molecular chains,after close stacking,impede the entry of water *** sacrificing high-temperature resistance,the precursor exhibited enhanced solubility properties and could be processed into high-quality *** research unveils new insights into the relationship between flexibility and highfrequency dielectric loss,offering innovative perspectives on synthesizing aromatic polymers with exceptional dielectric properties.

Radiative capture of proton through the ^(14)N(p,γ)^(15)O reaction at low energy

The CNO cycle is the main source of energy in stars more massive than our *** process defines the energy production,the duration of which can be used to determine the lifetime of massive *** cycle is an important tool for determining the age of globular *** proton capture via p+^(14)N→^(15)O+γ,at energies of astrophysical interest,is an important process in the CNO *** this project,we apply a potential model to describe both non-resonant and resonant reactions in the channels where radiative capture occurs through electric E1 *** employed the R-matrix method to describe the ongoing reactions via M1 resonant transitions,when it was not possible to correctly reproduce the experimental data using the potential *** partial components of the astrophysical s-factor are calculated for all possible electric and magnetic dipole transitions in ^(15)*** linear extrapolated s-factor at zero energy(s(0))agrees well with earlier reported values for all transition types considered in this *** on the value of the total astrophysical s-factor,depending on the collision energy,we calculate the nuclear reaction rates for p+^(14)N→^(15)O+γ.The computed rates agree well with the results reported in the NACRE II Collaboration and most recent existing measurements.
