Optoelectronic and thermoelectric properties of spinel chalcogenides HgLa2X4（X=s and se）:A first-principles study

We investigated spinel chalcogenides HgLa2（s/se）4by using density function theory,and scrutinized the structural,optical,electrical,mechanical and thermoelectric transport characteristics of HgLa2（s/se）4spinel *** enthalpy of formation,energy of cohesion,and energy volume optimum plots were used to obtain the stability as well as the perfect ground state of these *** ductility of these materials was the best illustrated with the help of Poisson's and Pugh's *** band gap results were obtained using Trans and Blaha modified Becke-Johanson potential（TB-mBJ）.Both the materials present semi-conducting nature with direct band gap equal to 1.449 and 0.892 eV respectively for HgLa2s4and *** were also made for optical characteristics with the values of dielectric function,absorption coefficient,optical conductivity,reflectivity,and refractive *** to the findings,both of these materials are suitable for infrared optoelectronic *** materials were found to have promising optoelectronic and thermoelectric applications after their optical properties and transport aspects were *** tiny levels of temperature conductivities,substantial am ounts of power conductivities,the figure of merit（more than unity）,as well as seebecs coefficients all point to the potential use of both the materials in thermoelectric power generators.

This study comprehensively assessed long-term vegetation changes and forest fragmentation dynamics in the Himalayan temperate region of Pakistan from 1989 to *** satellite images,including Landsat-5 TM and Landsat-8 Operational Land Imager(OLI),were chosen for subsequent assessments in October 1989,2001,2011 and *** classified maps of 1989,2001,2011 and 2019 were created using the maximum likelihood ***-classification comparison showed an overall accuracy of 82.5%and a Kappa coefficient of 0.79 for the 2019 *** revealed a drastic decrease in closed-canopy and open-canopy forests by 117.4 and 271.6 km^(2),respectively,and an increase in agriculture/farm cultivation by 1512.8 km^(2).The two-way ANOVA test showed statistically significant differences in the area of various cover *** fragmentation was evaluated using the Landscape Fragmentation Tool(LFT v2.0)between 1989 and *** large forest core(>2.00 km^(2))decreased from 149.4 to 296.7 km^(2),and a similar pattern was observed in medium forest core(1.00-2.00 km^(2))*** the contrary,the small core(st increased from 124.8 to 145.3 km^(2) in *** perforation area increased by 296.9 km^(2),and the edge effect decreased from 458.9 to 431.7 km^(2).The frequency of patches also increased by 119.1 km^(2).The closed and open canopy classes showed a decreasing trend with an annual rate of 0.58%and 1.35%,*** broad implications of these findings can be seen in the studied region as well as other global ecological *** serve as an imperative baseline for afforestation and reforestation operations,highlighting the urgent need for efficient management,conservation,and restoration *** on these findings,sustainable land-use policies may be put into place that support local livelihoods,protect ecosystem services,and conserve biodiversity.

This study investigated the relationships between human resource(HR)practices,employee psychological empowerment,employee innovative work behavior,and firm innovation capability in the context of the Information and Communication Technology(ICT)sector in *** the social Exchange Theory(sET)as a guiding framework,this study explored how employee psychological empowerment and innovative work behavior mediated the influence of HR practices on a firm’s innovative *** on extensive data collected from ICT organizations in Jordan,our analysis had several key findings.A significant positive correlation between HR practices and psychological empowerment was *** design emerged as the most influential factor affecting psychological empowerment,whereas compensation had a weaker ***,we established that psychological empowerment significantly enhanced innovative work behavior,underscoring its role as a catalyst for innovative work behavior within the ***,our study supported the theory that psychological empowerment influenced a firms’innovation capabilities,emphasizing the pivotal role of employee empowerment in driving firm-level innovation in the Jordanian ICT *** findings provide insights for academic and practical audiences,clarifying how HR practices,employee psychological empowerment,and innovative work behavior collectively influenced firm innovation capability within the unique context of the Jordanian ICT sector.

Many nanoparticles have been created over the last few decades using a variety of techniques and used to develop environmental technology, including water treatment, the detection of persistent contaminants, and soil and water remediation. The studies of alternative inputs for nanoparticle production as well as the use of green synthesis techniques are driven by the field of materials science and engineering’s growing interest in increasing the sustainability of the processes involved in their production. In this paper, we begin by providing an overview of the fundamental principles of producing nanoparticles from different sources, such as plastic, electronic, metal, and industrial waste. We elaborate on key facts of waste identification as a workable input for the treatment and recovery of metal and carbon-based nanoparticles. We next go over several controlling factors that play a role in creating nanoparticles, pointing out probable conclusions as we go. Then, we show some instances of waste-derived nanoparticles used in a proof-of-concept experiment of technology for applications in water quality and safety. Before scaling up production and implementing waste-derived nanoparticles, there are several present problems from the toxicological and life-cycle perspectives that must be taken into account.

The newborn infant presented with severe proptosis. Data on clinical history, presentation, photos, radiological imaging, and laboratory results were presented. A literature review was conducted for the case and relevant treatment modalities. The surgical technique and the outcome were also discussed. The mass was present since birth in a full term neonate, causing complete globe dislocation of the left eye. Imaging showed a large cystic retro-bulbar mass completely occupying the orbital cavity and causing anterior dislocation of the left globe. surgical excision of the tumor was carried out with globe preservation and Histopathology examination confirmed the diagnosis of optic nerve glioma. This was an atypical presentation of an optic nerve glioma causing globe dislocation in a neonate. The resection of such a large orbital tumor made globe preservation possible and resulted in an excellent cosmetic outcome. .

The Origin of the Flat Rotation Curves in spiral Galaxies: The Hidden Roles of Glitching sMDEOs and Emission of Gravitational Waves

supermassive DEOs (sMDEOs) are cosmologically evolved objects made of irreducible incompressible supranuclear dense superfluids: The state we consider to govern the matter inside the cores of massive neutron stars. These cores are practically trapped in false vacua, rendering their detection by outside observers impossible. Based on massive parallel computations and theoretical investigations, we show that sMDEOs at the centres of spiral galaxies that are surrounded by massive rotating torii of normal matter may serve as powerful sources for gravitational waves carrying away roughly 1042 erg/s. Due to the extensive cooling by GWs, the sMDEO-Torus systems undergo glitching, through which both rotational and gravitational energies are abruptly ejected into the ambient media, during which the topologies of the embedding spacetimes change from curved into flatter ones, thereby triggering a burst gravitational energy of order 1059 erg. Also, the effects of glitches found to alter the force balance of objects in the Lagrangian-L1 region between the central sMDEO-Torus system and the bulge, enforcing the enclosed objects to develop violent motions, that may explain the origin of the rotational curve irregularities observed in the innermost part of spiral galaxies. Our study shows that the generated GWs at the centres of galaxies, which traverse billions of objects during their outward propagations throughout the entire galaxy, lose energy due to repeatedly squeezing and stretching the objects. Here, we find that these interactions may serve as damping processes that give rise to the formation of collective forces f∝m(r)/r, that point outward, endowing the objects with the observed flat rotation curves. Our approach predicts a correlation between the baryonic mass and the rotation velocities in galaxies, which is in line with the Tully-Fisher relation.
