In cloud environment,an efficient resource management establishes the allocation of computational resources of cloud service providers to the requests of users for meeting the user’s *** proficient resource management and work allocation determines the accomplishment of the cloud ***,it is very difficult to persuade the objectives of the Cloud service Providers(CsPs)and end users in an impulsive cloud domain with random changes of workloads,huge resource availability and complicated service policies to handle them,With that note,this paper attempts to present an Efficient Energy-Aware Resource Management Model(EEARMM)that works in a decentralized ***,the model involves in reducing the number of migrations by definite workload management for efficient resource *** is,it makes an effort to reduce the amount of physical devices utilized for load balancing with certain resource and energy consumption management of every *** Estimation Model Algorithm(EMA)is given for determining the virtual machine ***,VM-selection Algorithm(sA)is also provided for choosing the appropriate VM to migrate for resource *** the incorporation of these algorithms,overloading of VM instances can be avoided and energy efficiency can be improved *** performance evaluation and comparative analysis,based on the dynamic workloads in different factors provides evidence to the efficiency,feasibility and scalability of the proposed model in cloud domain with high rate of resources and workload management.

This article deals with the existence of solutions of nonlinear fractional pantograph equations. such model can be considered suitable to be applied when the corresponding process occurs through strongly anomalous media. The results are obtained using fractional calculus and fixed point theorems. An example is provided to illustrate the main result obtained in this article.

Recent developments in space technology and exponential increase in demand of earth observation data from space have generated a requirement of a data processing environment,where users can discover the data and process,based on their *** services for Earth Observation Image Data Processing(GEOID)is proposed with a motivation to cater to future earth observation applications requirements of digital *** paper discusses the overview of the GEOID architecture,its deployment scenario,use-cases and simulation *** technologies used for implementation include Grid computing and service Oriented *** provides capability to address require-ments of applications such as real-time monitoring,time series data processing and processing with user required quality to meet the requirements of end user *** allows users to access the archive products or the raw satellite data stream and process their area of *** show that applications such as time series analysis show considerable improvement in processing time by using GEOID.

Antifouling Activities of Marine Bacteria Associated with sponge (sigmadocia sp.)

The present study aimed at assessing the antifouling activity of bacteria associated with marine sponges. A total of eight bacterial strains were isolated from the surface of sponge sigmadocia sp., of them, s.02, s.05 and s.06 showed inhibitory activity against biofilm-forming bacteria. The extracts of these 3 strains considerably affected the extracellular polymeric substance producing ability and adhesion of biofilm-forming bacterial strains. In addition to disc diffusion assay, microalgal settlement assay was carried out with the extracts mixed with polyurethane wood polish and coated onto stainless steel coupons. The extract of strain s.05 showed strong microalgal settlement inhibitory activity. strain s.05 was identified as Bacillus cereus based on its 16s rRNA gene. Metabolites of the bacterial strains associated with marine invertebrates promise to be developed into environment-friendly antifouling agents.

Feeding on clean food?Potential effects of electric organ discharges by Torpedo spp.(Torpediniformes:Torpedinidae)on their trophically transmitted parasites

Members of the Torpedinidae(torpedoes)and Hypnidae(coffin ray)use electric organ discharges(EOD)to stun or kill their prey before *** investigated whether EOD could also negatively affect the helminth larvae infecting these preys through a surrogate model:we applied electric discharges to individuals of blue whiting,Micromesistius poutassou,that harbored live larvae of *** mortality throughout a 6-h period was significantly higher in the treatment group,suggesting that EODs could significantly hamper helminth *** then tested whether torpedinids and hypnids(“strong-EOD”families)harbored species-poor helminth(cestode)assemblages compared with“weak-EOD”Torpediniformes(Narcidae and Narkidae)and other *** on comparisons on estimated species diversity and mean species richness of tapeworms at host individual level we found that(i)Torpediniformes had the lowest tapeworm diversity of all Batoidea orders;(ii)Torpedo *** had the lowest mean cestode richness at host individual level,and this could not be related to other host factors influencing cestode diversity in chondrichthyans,that is body size,trophic level or dietary ***,a preliminary comparison between“strong-EOD”and“weak-EOD”Torpediniformes did not detect clear differences of cestode ***,evidence supporting an unambiguous contribution of EODs to depauperate cestode assemblages requires further research.

Novel performance of fiber lasers:tunable operation in visible range

A review of the main physical processes important for frequency doubling of fiber lasers and the results of development by the Novosibirsk group of the fiber lasers operating from blue-green to yellow-red spectral ranges with a potential of the broad continuous tuning are presented. These lasers with ～100 mW power are treated to be attractive light sources for applications in medicine, especially in confocal microscopy and flow cytometry.

In today's Internet routing infrastructure,designers have addressed scal-ing concerns in routing constrained multiobjective optimization problems examining latency and mobility concerns as a secondary *** tactical Mobile Ad-hoc Network(MANET),hubs can function based on the work plan in various social affairs and the internally connected hubs are almost having the related moving standards where the topology between one and the other are tightly coupled in steady support by considering the touchstone of hubs such as a self-sorted out,self-mending and *** in the routing process is one of the key aspects to increase MANET performance by coordinat-ing the pathways using multiple criteria and *** present a Group Adaptive Hybrid Routing Algorithm(GAHRA)for gathering portability,which pursues table-driven directing methodology in stable accumulations and on-request steering strategy for versatile *** on this aspect,the research demonstrates an adjustable framework for commuting between the table-driven approach and the on-request approach,with the objectives of enhancing the out-put of MANET routing computation in each *** analysis and replication results reveal that the proposed method is promising than a single well-known existing routing approach and is well-suited for sensitive MANET applications.

Preservation of a Paleoproterozoic rifted margin in the Himalaya:Insight from the Ulleri-Phaplu-Melung orthogneiss

Orthogneiss within the Paleoproterozoic strata of Lesser Himalayan sequence across the Himalaya has been variably linked to development in a continental arc setting, Indian basement, or a continental *** whole rock and trace element geochemical data and U/Pb zircon geochronology indicate that the granitoid protoliths to these rocks were derived from upper crustal sources in the Paleoproterozoic and have within-plate, A-type affinities. This is consistent with their generation in a rifted margin and is compatible with paleogeographic reconstructions that indicate an open boundary for present-day northern India in the Paleoproterozoic.

solution of schrdinger Equation for Two-Dimensional Complex Quartic Potentials

We investigate the quasi-exact solutions of the schrodinger wave equation for two-dimensional non-hermitian complex Hamiltonian systems within the frame work of an extended complex phase space characterized by x = x1 ＋ ip3, y = x2 ＋ ip4, px= p1＋ ix3, py= p2 ＋ ix4. Explicit expressions of the energy eigenvalues and the eigenfunctions for ground and first excited states for a complex quartic potential are obtained. Eigenvalue spectra of some variants of the complex quartic potential, including PT-symmetrie one, are also worked out.

Landscape changes have greater effects than climate changes on six insect pests in China

In recent years, global changes are the major causes of frequent, widespread outbreaks of pests in mosaic landscapes, which have received substantial attention worldwide. We collected data on global changes(landscape and climate) and economic damage caused by six main insect pests during 1951–2010 in China. Landscape changes had significant effects on all six insect pests. Pest damage increased significantly with increasing arable land area in agricultural landscapes. However, climate changes had no effect on damage caused by pests, except for the rice leaf roller(Cnaphalocrocis medinalis Guenee) and armyworm(Mythimna separate(Walker)), which caused less damage to crops with increasing mean temperature. Our results indicate that there is slight evidence of possible offset effects of climate changes on the increasing damage from these two agricultural pests. Landscape changes have caused serious outbreaks of several species, which suggests the possibility of the use of landscape design for the control of pest populations through habitat rearrangement. Landscape manipulation may be used as a green method to achieve sustainable pest management with minimal use of insecticides and herbicides.
