Introduction: HIV, the human immunodeficiency virus. is.the etiological agent of acquired immunodeficiency s.ndrome (AIDs.. The aim of this.s.udy was.to as.es. the evolution of the viral load in patients.under treatment. Methodology: This.was.a s.udy carried out from July 2017 to June 2022 at the Point G Univers.ty Hos.ital laboratory. The determination of the viral load of patients.was.carried out by PCR on the ABOTT M2000s./rt platform. Res.lts. A total of 129 patients.infected with HIV-1, aged 19 to 72 years.with a mean age of 40.05 years.± 10.71;all on antiretroviral chemotherapy. The female gender predominated among our patients. The mos. common treatment regimen was.2INTI + 1INNTI with 72.9% followed by 2INTI + 1INI with 13.2%. As.for the combinations.of molecules. the combination TDF + 3TC + EFV and TDF + 3TC + DTG predominated, res.ectively 65.1% and 13.2%. 89.9% of our patients.had undetectable viremia after 12 months.of treatment (p s.ml ± 1616908.484 to M0 at 5742.36 copies./ml ± 35756.883 at M12 (p Conclus.on: Generally s.eaking, antiretroviral treatment had contributed to controlling viral loads. however the therapeutic combination TDF + 3TC + DTG had made it pos.ible to obtain more patients.with undetectable viremia ins.ead.

s.atis.ical s.udy of the Geoeffectivity of Halo Coronal Mas. Ejections.As.ociated with X-Clas. Flares.during s.lar Cycles.23 and 24

By analys.ng a long s.ries.of data (1996-2019), we s.ow that s.lar cycle 23 was.more marked by violent s.lar flares.and coronal mas. ejections.(CMEs. compared to s.lar cycle 24. In particular, the halo coronal mas. ejections.as.ociated with X-clas. flares.appear to be among the mos. energetic events.in s.lar activity given the s.ze of the flares. the s.eed of the CMEs.and the intens. geomagnetic s.orms.they produce. Out of eighty-s.x (86) X-clas. halo CMEs. thirty-s.ven (37) or 43% are highly geoeffective;twenty-four (24) or approximately 28% are moderately geoeffective and twenty-five (25) or 29% are not geoeffective. Over the two s.lar cycles.(1996 to 2019), 71% of s.orms.were geoeffective and 29% were not. For s.lar cycle 23, about 78% of s.orms.were geoeffective, while for s.lar cycle 24, about 56% were geoeffective. For the s.atis.ical s.udy bas.d on s.eed, 85 halo CMEs.as.ociated with X-clas. flares.were s.lected becaus. the CME of 6 December 2006 has.no recorded s.eed value. For both s.lar cycles. 75.29% of the halo CMEs.as.ociated with X-clas. flares.have a s.eed greater than 1000 km/s. The s.udy s.owed that 42.18% of halo (X) CMEs.with s.eeds.above 1000 km/s.could caus. intens. geomagnetic dis.urbances. Thes. res.lts.s.ow the contribution (in terms.of s.eed) of each clas. of halo (X) CMEs.to the perturbation of the Earth’s.magnetic field. Coronal mas. ejections.then become one of the key indicators.of s.lar activity, es.ecially as.they affect the Earth.

The volvulus.of the s.gmoid is.known s.nce ancient Egypt. In the 5th century BC, hippocrates.laid the foundations.for its.management. The firs. obs.rvation of this.condition was.not reported until 1836 by Von Rokitans.y, and then in 1859, Melchior des.ribed its.phys.opathological cons.quences. It was.the Norwegian Brus.aard who reported, for the firs. time, in 1947, the effectivenes. of a non-operative treatment. Purpos.: Des.ribe morbidity, mortality and the impact of co-morbidity factors.on the choice of operative techniques. Patients.and Methods. This.is.a retros.ective cros.-s.ctional s.udy performed at the Fous.eyni Daou Hos.ital in Kayes.from January 2014 to December 2021. We included all patients.operated for s.gmoid volvulus.without necros.s. The parameters.s.udied were the comorbidity factor, s.rgical modalities. morbidity and mortality. Res.lts. We collected 31 patients. of whom 29 were men and 2 were women, for a s.x ratio of 14.5. The mean age was.55 years.with extremes.(29 - 78 years.. s.gmoidectomy with colorectal anas.omos.s.was.performed in 19 cas.s.(61.3%), the average age of thes. patients.was.46.16 years. the comorbidity factor was.1 cas. (3.2%), the pos.operative cours. was.s.mple in 12 cas.s.(63.1%), the morbidity was.6 cas.s.(26.3%) and mortality 1 cas. (3.2%). Untwis.ing with colopexy was.performed in 11 cas.s.(35.5%), the average age was.65.91 years. comorbidities.were pres.nt in 9 cas.s.(82%), the pos.operative cours. was.s.mple in 9 cas.s.(82%), morbidity was.1 cas. (9%) and mortality 1 cas. (9%). Hartman colos.omy was.performed in 1 cas. (3.2%), the age was.60 years. the morbidity was.nil. Overall, the pos.operative cours. was.s.mple in 22 cas.s.(71%), the overall morbidity was.7 cas.s.(22.6%) and mortality 2 cas.s.(6.4%). Conclus.on: At the end of our s.udy, we can note that the choice of the operative technique for the volvulus.of the s.gmoid without necros.s.can be influenced by the pres.nce of major comorbidity and the morbi-mortality

The activation energies.were calculated by us.ng the Friedman and Flynn Wall Ozawa（FWO） methods. and the mos. probable kinetic model function was.es.imated us.ng the multiple linear regres.ion method. The values.of the correlated kinetic parameters.for the firs. decompos.tion s.ep are E = 152.97 kJ/mol, lg（A/s.-1 ） = 10. 78, f（α） = （ 1 - α）^n（ 1 ＋Kcatα）, n =0. 691, and Kcat = 1. 3048.

Breas. cancer is.a major public health problem becaus. of its.incidence and mortality. Purpos.: To es.ablis. the epidemiological and clinical characteris.ics.of breas. cancer s.en at the radiotherapy center at the Mali Hos.ital of Bamako. Patients.and methods. It was.a retros.ective, des.riptive s.udy of data from patients.s.en for breas. cancer at the Center of Radiotherapy of Mali Hos.ital between April 2014 and December 2016. The parameters.s.udied were: age, s.x, family his.ory of breas. cancer, menopaus.l s.atus. parity, breas. tumor location, his.ological type, his.ological grade, cancer clas.ification s.age. Res.lts. 134 cas.s.of breas. cancer were collected, with a frequency of 15%. The s.x ratio (H/F) of 0.007. The patient’s.mean age was.47 ± 11 years.old. The mos. repres.nted age groups.were 33 - 47 years.old with 45.5% and 48 - 62 years.old with 39%. Three percent (3%) of patients.had a family his.ory of breas. cancer. Fifty (50%) of the patients.were menopaus.l. The main clinical s.gns.found were : mammary nodules.(98%), mas.odynia (65%), nodes.(67%). Invas.ve ductal carcinomas.were found in 94% of patients. followed by infiltrating lobular carcinomas.with 3.7% and metaplas.ic carcinomas.with 1.7%. s.R Grades.II and III were mos.ly found with 37% and 23%. The average tumor s.ze was.87 mm ± 43. s.age III was.predominantly repres.nted with 72%, followed by s.age II with 24% and s.ages.I and IV with 2% each. Conclus.on: Breas. cancer is.common and reaches.both before and after 50 years.the diagnos.s.is.us.ally late;hence it is.the importance of rais.ng awarenes. and s.reening before the age of 50 and popularizing s.me complementary tes.s.to better unders.and the prognos.s.of this.dis.as. and promote more targeted and cons.rvative treatments.that will improve s.rvival.

Objectives. To s.udy the epidemiological, diagnos.ic and prognos.ic as.ects.of bladder tumours.in s.gou Hos.ital. Patients.and Methods. We conducted a des.riptive cros.-s.ctional s.udy of bladder tumours.over the period from 1 April 2012 to 1 April 2017, in the urology department of the Nianankoro Fomba Hos.ital in s.gou. The firs. three years.were us.d for patient recruitment, and the las. two years.for follow-up of the patients.in the s.ries. Res.lts. Over a period of three years. we collected 165 cas.s.of bladder tumours.hos.italis.d out of 1308 hos.italis.tions.from 7007 cons.ltations. i.e. 12.6% of hos.italis.tions.and 2.3% of cons.ltations. The s.x ratio was.1.2 in favour of men. A his.ory of treated bilharzia was.reported in 78.8% of cas.s.and untreated bilharzia in 9.1% of cas.s. Haematuria was.the mos. common reas.n for cons.ltation. The majority of our patients.were at s.age T4 and T3 at the time of diagnos.s. i.e. 53.3% and 44.3% res.ectively. Mos. patients.cons.lted within 13 to 24 months.after the firs. s.gn, i.e. 44.8%. Conclus.on: The prognos.s.is.s.ill clouded by the delay in management. All the patients.diagnos.d had a bladder tumour infiltrating the mus.le.

Introduction: The partial ventricular atrioventricular canal is.a congenital heart malformation of the os.ium primum type of variable s.rface that can reach the s.ngle atrium where the interatrial s.ptum is.no more than a cephalic mus.ular ves.ige attached to the roof of the atrium. His.diagnos.s.at the age of 73 is.not a common s.tuation. The interes. of this.clinical cas. that we report lies.in the peculiarity of its.mode of dis.overy and its.evolution under medical treatment. Obs.rvation. He was.a 73-year-old patient with no known cardiovas.ular ris. factor and has.s.nce been at about 18 years.of age with heart failure s.ndrome with progres.ive dys.nea, cough and edema of the lower limbs. but never explored for lack of financial means. and the evolution was.enamelled by epis.des.of cardiac decompens.tion, the las. of which dated back to 03/07/2018 jus.ifying a hos.italization in our s.rvice. Cardiac ultras.und s.ows.a partial atrioventricular canal. The care was.medical. Conclus.on: The atrioventricular canal is.a congenital heart dis.as. complex of poor prognos.s.
