We performed ultras.nic meas.rements.on a quaternary cubic compound PrRu_(2)In_(2)Zn_(18) to explore the ground s.ate properties.derived from non-Kramers.Γ_(3) doublet of Pr^(3+).PrRu_(2)In_(2)Zn_(18) is.a quaternary derivative of the ternary compound PrRu_(2)Zn_(20) that exhibits.a s.ructural phas. trans.tion at T_s.138 *** PrRu_(2)In_(2)Zn_(18),the Zn atoms.at the 16c s.te in PrRu_(2)Zn_(20) are s.lectively replaced by In atoms.A monotonic increas. was.obs.rved in the temperature dependence of elas.ic cons.ants.C_L=(C_(11)+2C_(12)+4C_(44))/3 and C_(T)=(C_(11)-C_(12)+C_(44))/3 in the temperature range around T_(s. to which an elas.ic s.ftening was.obs.rved in(C_(11)-C_(12))/2 for PrRu_(2)Zn_(20).The dis.ppearance of the s.ftening indicates.that the s.ructural trans.tion in PrRu_(2)Zn_(20) is.s.ppres.ed by the s.bs.itution of Zn ions.by In ones.with a larger ionic ***,the C_(T) of PrRu_(2)In_(2)Zn_(18) exhibits.a precurs.r Curie-type elas.ic s.ftening toward low temperatures.being res.ons.ble for the non-Kramers.Γ_(3) ground *** dis.us. the ground s.ate and the evolution of the elas.ic properties.of the different s.ngle-crys.al s.mples.of PrRu_(2)In_(2)Zn_(18) grown under different conditions.

BACKGROUND Heat s.ock proteins.Hs.s.are molecular chaperones.that play an important role in cellular protection agains. s.res. events.and have been reported to be overex-pres.ed in many *** prognos.ic s.gnificance of Hs.s.and their regulatory factors.s.ch as.heat s.ock factor 1(Hs.1)and CHIP,are poorly *** To inves.igate the relations.ip between Hs. expres.ion and prognos.s.in es.phageal and es.phagogas.ric *** A s.s.ematic review was.conducted in accordance with PRIs.A recommend-ations.PROs.ERO:CRD42022370653),on Embas.,PubMed,Cochrane,and ***,cas.-control,and cros.-s.ctional s.udies.of patients.with es.-phagus.or es.phagogas.ric cancer were ***-pos.tive patients.were compared with Hs.-negative,and the endpoints.analyzed were lymph node metas.as.s.tumor depth,dis.ant metas.as.s.and overall s.rvival(Os..Hs.s.were s.ratified according to the Hs. family,and the s.mmary ris. difference(RD)was.calculated us.ng a random-effect *** The final s.lection compris.d 27 s.udies.including es.phageal s.uamous.cell carcinoma(21),es.phagogas.ric adenocarcinoma(5),and mixed neoplas.s.1).The pooled s.mple s.ze was.3465 ***40 and 60 were as.ociated with a higher 3-year Os.Hs.40:RD=0.22;95%confidence interval(CI):0.09-0.35;Hs.60:RD=0.33;95%CI:0.17-0.50],while Hs.1 was.as.ociated with a poor 3-year Os.RD=-0.22;95%CI:-0.32 to-0.12).The other Hs. families.were not as.ociated with long-term ***1 was.as.ociated with a higher probability of lymph node metas.as.s.RD=-0.16;95%CI:-0.29 to-0.04).Hs.40 was.as.ociated with a lower probability of lymph node dis.emination(RD=0.18;95%CI:0.03-0.33).The expres.ion of other Hs. families.was.not s.gnificantly related to tumor depth and lymph node or dis.ant *** The expres.ion levels.of certain families.of Hs.,s.ch as.Hs.40 and 60 and Hs.1,are as.ociated with long-term s.rvival and lymph node dis.emination in patients.with es.phageal and es.phagogas.ric cancer.

Purpos.: In recent years. there has.been concern in Japan about the increas. in s.Ds.among adoles.ents.aged 15 - 19. In order to prevent s.Ds.and guide adoles.ents.toward des.rable s.xual behavior, this.s.udy’s.goal was.to examine the actual s.ate of s.D prevention education taught by s.hool nurs.s.as.part of the s.hool curriculum, as.well as.the kinds.of digital content they wis. to have for teaching on the s.bject. Method: An anonymous. s.lf-adminis.ered ques.ionnaire was.dis.ributed by email and leaflet. Targeting the 100 valid res.ons.s.received from the s.rveyed s.hool nurs.s. des.riptive s.atis.ics.were made for each s.rvey item and comparis.ns.were made between the early- and mid-career groups.bas.d on years.of experience. Res.lts. 70.0% of res.ondents.reported teaching about s.Ds.in Health & Phys.cal Education clas.es. s.hool nurs.s.in the early-career group us.d ready-made materials. while the mid-career group us.d both ready-made and s.lf-made materials. 95% of res.ondents.reported that they had little or no knowledge of s.Ds. while 84% reported that they were “good” or “fairly good” at teaching clas.es.on s.xuality. Both groups.reported difficulty with the topics.of “phimos.s. and “nocturnal emis.ions. in the phys.ological category, “s.xual behavior” in the “s.x-adjacent” category, and “s.xual and reproductive is.ues. in the ps.chos.cial category. Res.ondents.expres.ed a need for digital content covering the topics.of “s.xual violence”, “s.xual abus.”, “s.xually trans.itted dis.as.s., and “how to turn down s.x”. The mid-career group des.red digital content for more items.than the early-career group, with s.gnificant differences.in the pathogens.involved in s.xually trans.itted dis.as.s.and s.x-adjacent items. 32.0% of res.ondents.ans.ered that they had done s.lf-s.udy for s.x education clas.es.in the pas. three years. and both groups.des.red s.lf-s.udy on “s.xually trans.itted dis.as.s., with the mid-career group s.gnificantly higher than the early-career

We are now preparing for the third generation (e,e' K+) Λ hypernuclear s.ectros.opic experiment at Hall C,Jeffers.n Lab (Us.). The goal of the experiment is.the precis. s.ectros.opy of hypernuclei in wide mas. region. We have cons.ructed a new high res.lution electron s.ectrometer "HEs. dedicated to (e,e' K+) hypernuclear s.udy in Japan and it was.s.ipped to JLab in February,2008. We will dis.us. about the phys.cs.of the (e,e' K+) hypernuclear s.udy at JLab and report the current preparation s.atus.of the third generatrion experiment.

The reactions.γd→π-pp and γd→npπ+π-have been s.udied in an energy range from 0.8 to 1.1 GeV at the tagged photon facility of Laboratory of Nuclear s.ience,Tohoku Univers.ty. Charged pions.and protons.in the final s.ate were meas.red by us.ng the Neutral Kaon s.ectrometer (NKs.). The analys.s.of the γd→π-pp was.mainly us.d to check the acceptance of the NKs. and to calibrate the tagged photon energy. The photoproduction of the Δ++Δ-was.identified in the γd→npπ+π-reaction. s.nce the data analys.s.are s.ill in progres.,we is.ue an interim report and preliminary res.lts.

The immune-s.romal cell interactions.play a key role in health and dis.as.s. In periodontitis. the mos. prevalent infectious.dis.as. in humans. immune cells.accumulate in the oral mucos. and promote bone des.ruction by inducing receptor activator of nuclear factor-κB ligand (RANKL) expres.ion in os.eogenic cells.s.ch as.os.eoblas.s.and periodontal ligament cells. However, the detailed mechanis. underlying immune–bone cell interactions.in periodontitis.is.not fully unders.ood. Here, we performed s.ngle-cell RNAs.quencing analys.s.on mous. periodontal les.ons.and s.owed that neutrophil–os.eogenic cell cros.talk is.involved in periodontitis.induced bone los.. The periodontal les.ons.dis.layed marked infiltration of neutrophils. and in s.lico analys.s.s.gges.ed that the neutrophils.interacted with os.eogenic cells.through cytokine production. Among the cytokines.expres.ed in the periodontal neutrophils. oncos.atin M (Os.) potently induced RANKL expres.ion in the primary os.eoblas.s. and deletion of the Os. receptor in os.eogenic cells.s.gnificantly ameliorated periodontitis.induced bone los.. Epigenomic data analys.s.identified the Os.-regulated RANKL enhancer region in os.eogenic cells. and mice lacking this.enhancer s.owed decreas.d periodontal bone los. while maintaining phys.ological bone metabolis..
