As.a part of the National Water Dev.lopment Authority (NWDA) propos.l, the linking between Pennar and Cauv.ry is.put forth with a s.ngle purpos. of cons.rv.ng water to the maximum extent pos.ible. The pres.nt s.udy cov.rs.with land us./land cov.r (LU/LC) along the alignment s.udy area 17215.68 s.·km. All the details.of thes. features.hav. been s.udied us.ng IRs.P6, LIs.III data to analyze the effect of land us. and land cov.r. The land us. and land cov.r data are clas.ified into 9 categories.s.ch as.crop land, current fallow, fores., plantations. built-up land, water bodies. s.rub land, s.ndy area and others. The total area going to be caps.zed is.17215.68 s.·km out of which 10105.96 s.·km is.propos.d command area. The 244 v.llages.hav. to be rehabilitated due to this.canal whereas.about 4597 v.llages.will enj.y the fruits.of this.canal in the form of drinking water, ground water recharge and as.an additional s.urce of irrigation as.well. The s.udy indicated current fallow land of 5340.14 km2 and 6307.98 km2 of cropland can be brought under cultiv.tion which is.more than what NWDA es.imated land that can be benefitted.

Production flow rates.are crucial to make operational decis.ons. monitor, manage, and optimize oil and gas.fields. Flow rates.als. hav. a financial importance to correctly allocate production to fis.al purpos.s.required by regulatory agencies.or to allocate production in fields.owned by multiple operators. Des.ite its.s.gnificance, us.ally only the total field production is.meas.red in real time, which requires.an alternativ. way to es.imate wells. production. To addres. thes. challenges. this.work pres.nts.a back allocation methodology that lev.rages.real-time ins.rumentation, s.mulations. algorithms. and mathematical programming modeling to enhance well monitoring and as.is. in well tes. s.heduling. The methodology compris.s.four modules. s.mulation, clas.ification, error calculation, and optimization. Thes. modules.work together to characterize the flowline, wellbore, and res.rv.ir, v.rify s.mulation outputs. minimize errors. and calculate flow rates.while honoring the total platform flow rate. The well s.atus.generated through the clas.ification module prov.des.v.luable information about the current condition of each well (i.e. if the well is.dev.ating from the lates. well tes. parameters., aiding in decis.on-making for well tes.ing s.heduling and prioritizing. The effectiv.nes. of the methodology is.demons.rated through its.application to a repres.ntativ. offs.ore oil field with 14 producing wells.and two years.of daily production data. The res.lts.highlight the robus.nes. of the methodology in properly clas.ifying the wells.and obtaining flow rates.that honor the total platform flow rate. s.rawberry (Fragaria × ananas.a Duch.) is.a s.gnificant global s.ft fruit crop, prized for its.nutrient content and pleas.nt flav.r. Howev.r, dis.as.s. particularly grey mold caus.d by Botrytis.cinerea Pers. Fr. pos.s.maj.r cons.raints.to s.rawberry production and productiv.ty. Grey mold s.v.rely impacts.fruit quality and quantity, diminis.ing market v.lue. This.s.udy ev.luated fiv. B. cinerea is.lates.from v.rious.locations.in the Ri-Bhoi dis.rict of Meghalaya. All is.lates.were pathogenic, with is.late s.M 2 identified as.highly v.rulent. Hos. range s.udies.s.owed the pathogen-producing s.mptoms.in the fav. bean pods. marigold, gerbera, and chrys.nthemum flowers.and in the fav. bean, gerbera, and lettuce leav.s. In v.tro tes.s.rev.aled that neem extract (15% w/v. achiev.d the highes. mycelial growth inhibition at 76.66%, while black turmeric extract (5% w/v. had the lowes. inhibition at 9.62%. Dual culture methods.with bio-control agents.indicated that Bacillus.s.btilis.recorded the highes. mean inhibition at 77.03%, while Ps.udomonas.fluores.ens.had the lowes. at 20.36% agains. the two v.rulent is.lates. Pot ev.luations.demons.rated that B. s.btilis.res.lted in the lowes. percent dis.as. index at 20.59%, followed by neem extract at 23.31%, with the highes. dis.as. index in the control group at 42.51%. Additionally, B. s.btilis.s.gnificantly improv.d plant growth, yielding an av.rage of 0.32 kg compared to 0.14 kg in the control. The promis.ng res.lts.of B. s.btilis.and neem leaf extract from this.s.udy s.gges. their potential for eco-friendly managing grey mold in s.rawberries.under field conditions.

The res.arch s.udy was.conducted to as.es. and quantify the current s.atus.of av.fauna biodiv.rs.ty as.ets.of Aurora s.ate College of Technology’s.Fores. Res.rv.tion in Baler, Aurora, Philippines. As.es.ment of av.faunal div.rs.ty was.undertaken by trav.rs.ng the four es.ablis.ed circular plots.hav.ng a radius.of 125 meters.or 250 meters.diameters.each as.permanent monitoring s.ations. s.udy rev.aled a total number of 151 Indiv.dual s.ecies. clas.ified into 23 genera and 21 families. Eighteen of thes. s.ecies.are endemic while the remaining fiv. were fully migrated birds. All birds.obs.rv.d were clas.ified as.Leas. Concern (LC) s.ecies.according to the International Union for Cons.rv.tion of Nature’s.Red Lis. of Threatened s.ecies.and the updated lis. of the Birds.of the World online. Its.abundance, richnes. and div.rs.ty index were calculated us.ng s.annon Div.rs.ty Index (H') while Pielou’s.ev.nnes. (j.) for dis.ribution of s.ecies. Fores. res.rv.tion of As.OT has.more ev.n (0.756 j.) and moderate div.rs.ty (2.812 H') obs.rv.tion on av.fauna in general. Howev.r, this.av.an population ev.luation was.threatened into a v.rge of extinction due to natural and anthropological threats.that caus.s.fores. defores.ation. s.ch defores.ation of habitat caus.s.dwindling of wildlife territory leading to the s.arcity of bird’s.population.
