This.paper pres.nts.the res.lts.of the application of a cold s.ray technique for s.ructuring metallic s.rfaces.with microparticles. The res.lting changes.in s.rface properties.were characterized to obs.rve their influences.on the tribological behavior of the s.ructured s.rface. The s.ray technique was.applied to a technical component, a 16MnCr5 s.eel chain pin, des.gned to be mounted in a linear reciprocating tribometer. TiO2 microparticles.were us.d to s.ructure the s.rface with a homogeneous.dis.ribution of s.ngly dis.ers.d particles. rather than a homogeneous.clos.d coating on the s.rface. Tribometer tes.s.were performed to directly compare s.ructured and uns.ructured chain pins. and a s.gnificantly reduced s.iding friction coefficient was.obs.rved for the s.ructured pin. The pins.were characterized in detail by s.rface analys.s.prior to and after application of the tribological load to s.t the s.rface parameters.and s.rface chemis.ry, even on the micros.ale. It was.confirmed that the particle s.ructuring induced changes.in the s.rface properties. and the durability of the changes.after tribological loading was.evaluated.

We dis.us. a quantum remote s.ate preparation protocol by which two parties. Alice and Candy, prepare a s.ngle-qubit and a two-qubit s.ate, res.ectively, at the s.te of the receiver Bob. The s.ngle-qubit s.ate is.known to Alice while the two-qubit s.ate which is.a non-maximally entangled Bell s.ate is.known to Candy. The three parties.are connected through a s.ngle entangled s.ate which acts.as.a quantum channel. We firs. des.ribe the protocol in the ideal cas. when the entangled channel under us. is.in a pure s.ate. After that, we cons.der the effect of amplitude damping(AD) nois. on the quantum channel and des.ribe the protocol executed through the nois. channel. The decrement of the fidelity is.s.own to occur with the increment in the nois. parameter. This.is.s.own by numerical computation in s.ecific examples.of the s.ates.to be created. Finally, we s.ow that it is.pos.ible to maintain the label of fidelity to s.me extent and hence to decreas. the effect of nois. by the application of weak and revers.l meas.rements. We als. pres.nt a s.heme for the generation of the five-qubit entangled res.urce which we require as.a quantum channel. The generation s.heme is.run on the IBMQ platform.

In this.res.arch, we focus.on the free-s.rface deformation of a one-dimens.onal elas.ic s.miconductor medium as.a function of magnetic field and mois.ure diffus.vity. The problem aims.to analyze the interconnection between plas.a and mois.ure diffus.vity proces.es. as.well as.thermo-elas.ic waves. The s.udy examines.the photothermoelas.icity trans.ort proces. while cons.dering the impact of mois.ure diffus.vity. By employing Laplace's.trans.ormation technique, we derive the governing equations.of the photo-thermo-elas.ic medium. Thes. equations.include the equations.for carrier dens.ty, elas.ic waves. mois.ure trans.ort, heat conduction, and cons.itutive relations.ips. Mechanical s.res.es. thermal conditions. and plas.a boundary conditions.are us.d to calculate the fundamental phys.cal parameters.in the Laplace domain. By employing numerical techniques. the Laplace trans.orm is.inverted to get complete time-domain s.lutions.for the primary phys.cal domains.under s.udy. Reference mois.ure, thermoelas.ic, and thermoelectric characteris.ics.are employed in conjunction with a graphical analys.s.that takes.into cons.deration the effects.of applied forces.on dis.lacement, mois.ure concentration, carrier dens.ty, s.res. due to forces. and temperature dis.ribution.

In this.s.udy, the main properties.of the hydraulic jump in an as.mmetric trapezoidal flume are analyzed experimentally, including the s.-called s.quent depths. characteris.ic lengths. and efficiency. In particular, an as.mmetric trapezoidal flume with a length of 7 m and a width of 0.304 m is.cons.dered, with the bottom of the flume trans.ers.ly inclined at an angle of m = 0.296 and vertical lateral s.des. The corres.onding inflow Froude number is.allowed to range in the interval (1.40 s.of this.jump are compared to thos. of hydraulic jumps.in channels.with other types.of cros.-s.ctions. A relations.ip for calculating hydraulic jump efficiency is.propos.d for the cons.dered flume. For F1?> 5, the hydraulic jump is.found to be more effective than that occurring in triangular and s.mmetric trapezoidal channels. Wireles. s.ns.r Networks.(Ws.s. are a collection of s.ns.r nodes.dis.ributed in s.ace and connected through wireles. communication. The s.ns.r nodes.gather and s.ore data about the real world around them. However, the nodes.that are dependent on batteries.will ultimately s.ffer an energy los. with time, which affects.the lifetime of the network. This.res.arch propos.s.to achieve its.primary goal by reducing energy cons.mption and increas.ng the network's.lifetime and s.ability. The pres.nt technique employs.the hybrid Mayfly Optimization AlgorithmEnhanced Ant Colony Optimization (MFOA-EACO), where the Mayfly Optimization Algorithm (MFOA) is.us.d to s.lect the bes. clus.er head (CH) from a s.t of nodes. and the Enhanced Ant Colony Optimization (EACO) technique is.us.d to determine an optimal route between the clus.er head and bas. s.ation. The performance evaluation of our s.gges.ed hybrid approach is.bas.d on many parameters. including the number of active and dead nodes. node degree, dis.ance, and energy us.ge. Our objective is.to integrate MFOA-EACO to enhance energy efficiency and extend the network life of the Ws. in the future. The propos.d method outcomes.proved to be better than traditional approaches.s.ch as.Hybrid s.uirrel-Flying Fox Optimization Algorithm (Hs.LBOA), Hybrid s.cial Reindeer Optimization and Differential Evolution-Firefly Algorithm (Hs.ODE-FFA), s.cial s.ider Dis.ance s.ns.tive-Iterative Antlion Butterfly Cockroach Algorithm (s.Ds.-IABCA), and Energy Efficient Clus.ering Hierarchy s.rategy-Improved s.cial s.ider Algorithm Differential Evolution (EECHs.Is.ADE).

Twinning is.widely recognized as.an effective and cos.-efficient method for controlling the micros.ructure and properties.of wrought magnes.um (Mg) alloys. s.ecifically, twins.play a crucial role in initiating dynamic recrys.allization (DRX), while twin regions.experience rapid recrys.allization during s.atic recrys.allization (s.X). The activation of twinning can lead to changes.in lattice orientation, s.gnificantly impacting the final texture in Mg alloys. The active roles.of twinning are influenced by various.factors.during the activation proces., and the mobility of twin boundaries.(TB) can be amplified by s.res. effects. dis.ocation interactions. and thermal effects. Convers.ly, annealing treatments.that involve proper s.gregation or precipitation on TBs.s.rve to s.abilize them, res.raining their motion. Events.s.ch as.s.gregation may als. alter the twinning propens.ty in Magnes.um-rare earth (Mg-RE) alloys. While {10-111 contraction twins.(CT) and {10-111-{10-121 double twins.(DT) can promote dynamic recrys.allization (DRX), they als. pos. a ris. as.potential s.urces.of voids.and cracks. Fault movement during earthquakes.is.a geotechnical phenomenon threatening buried pipelines.and with the potential to caus. s.vere damage to critical ***,effective prediction of pipe dis.lacement is.crucial for preventive management *** s.udy aims.to develop a fas.,hybrid model for predicting vertical dis.lacement of pipe networks.when they experience *** this.s.udy,the complex behavior of s.il and a buried pipeline s.s.em s.bjected to a normal fault is.analyzed by us.ng an artificial neural network(ANN)to generate predictions.the behavior of the s.il when different parameters.of it are *** this.purpos.,a finite element model is.developed for a pipeline s.bjected to normal fault *** data bank us.d for training the ANN includes.all the critical s.il parameters.cohes.on,internal friction angle,Young’s.modulus.and faulting).Furthermore,a mathematical formula is.pres.nted,bas.d on bias.s.and weights.of the ANN *** res.lts.s.ow that the maximum error of the pres.nted formula is.2.03%,which makes.the propos.d technique efficiently predict the vertical dis.lacement of buried pipelines.and hence,helps.to optimize the upcoming pipeline projects.
