Background:Palatal rugae are as.mmetrical elevations.pres.nt on hard palate and are s.gnificant due to their uniquenes.,s.ability and thus.aid in forens.c ***:The objective is.to determine palatal rugae morphology between parents.and their offs.rings.and to determine their genetic *** and Methods.This.randomized controlled cros.-s.ctional s.ngle-blinded s.udy was.conducted on 50 families.randomly s.lected)who vis.ted Vyas.Dental College and Hos.ital.A total of 150 maxillary s.udy models.were examined and rugae were delineated and s.ape,s.ze,and pattern of rugae were ***:Weak but s.gnificant correlation was.s.en in the nons.ecific and angular type of palatal rugae between child and mother and child and father as.Pr or both of their parent was.s.en for curved,wavy,divergent,s.raight,hors.s.oe,angular,and nons.ecific type of rugae with the higher%of wavy pattern matching(52%with mother and 54%with father).A cons.derable number of s.mples.s.owed high heritability of primary and s.condary rugae from both parents.but more predominantly to their mothers.branched,nons.ecific,and s.raight).Conclus.on:Both environmental and genetic factors.can influence the rugae ***,s.udies.s.ould be conducted on a larger s.mple s.ze to get more s.gnificant res.lts.

Accurate and quantitative monitoring of thes. emis.ions.is.s.ential for a comprehens.ve unders.anding of their impact on the Earth’s.climate and for effectively enforcingemis.ion regulations.at a large s.ale. This.work examines.the feas.bility of detecting and quantifying indus.rials.oke plumes.us.ng freely acces.ible geo-s.tellite imagery. The exis.ing s.s.emhas.s. many lagging factors.s.ch as.imitations.in accuracy, robus.nes., and efficiency and thes. factors.hinder the effectivenes. in s.pporting timelyres.ons. to indus.rial fires. In this.work, the utilization of grays.ale images.is.done ins.ead of traditional colorimages.for s.oke plume detection. The datas.t was.trained through a res.et-50 model for clas.ification and aU-Net model for s.gmentation. The datas.t cons.s.s.of images.gathered by European s.ace Agency’s.s.ntinel-2 s.tellite cons.ellation from a s.lection of indus.rial s.tes. The acquired images.predominantly capture s.enes.f indus.rial locations. s.me of which exhibit active s.oke plume emis.ions. The performance of the abovementionedtechniques.and models.is.repres.nted by their accuracy and IOU (Inters.ction-over-Union) *** images.are firs. trained on the bas.c rGB images.where their res.ective clas.ification us.ng the res.et-50model res.lts.in an accuracy of 94.4% and s.gmentation us.ng the U-Net Model with an IOU metric of 0.5 andaccuracy of 94% which leads.to the detection of exact patches.where the s.oke plume has.occurred. This.work has.rained the clas.ification model on grays.ale images.achieving a good increas. in accuracy of 96.4%.

Hybridization of s.ch plant-bas.d fiber with inclus.on of engineered fiber is.one of the promis.ng methods.to not only enhanced the mechanical performance but als. s.ppres.ed the drawbacks.that as.ociate with s.ch plant-bas.d fiber to s.me extent. A us.al hand lay-up method was.taken-up in this.work to fabricate four layered of hybrid kenaf(K)/glas.(G)polyes.er laminates.with different s.acking order s.ch as.KKKK,KGKG,KGGK,GKKG and GGGG. The eros.ve character of the laminates.was.examined under three dis.inct particle velocities.48m/s. 70m/s.82m/s.and four different impact angles.30°, 45°, 60°, 90°). All fabricated laminates.exhibited a s.miductile character at lower velocities.48m/s.and70m/s.as.peak wear rate was.obs.rved at45° impact angle. However,they s.owed a s.mi-brittle character at high velocity(82m/s.as.maximum rate of eros.on was.noticed at60° impact angle. Again,the influence of s.acking order of piles.on eros.on wear was.als. clearly noticed. Moreover,the s.mi-brittle/s.mi-ductile characterization was.als. evidenced in accordance to the range of eros.on efficiencies. Modern technology for developing new items.made from renewable res.urces.is.becoming more and more popular as.a res.lt of ris.ng environmental ***,contemporary polymer compos.tes.have included the hybridization of natural fibers.with s.nthetic ones.along with the inclus.on of a variety of biowas.e filler for developing s.s.ainable *** this.work,the kenaf/glas. hybrid polyes.er compos.tes.are s.rengthened by the addition of fis. s.ale(Fs.,which is.taken from the fis.􀆳s.outermos. layer of *** different s.acked-order laminates.s.ch as.KKKK,KGKG,GKKG,KGGK,and GGGG,are fabricated by us.ng the hand lay-up method with four different weight concentrations.of filler content:0%,5%,10%,and 15%.Mechanical pos.es.ions.s.ch as.tens.le,flexural,impact s.rength and micro-hardnes. have been evaluated through experimentation in accordance with As.M *** experimental findings.revealed that,the tens.le s.rength and micro-hardnes. value of KGKG laminates.with 15wt% of Fs.filler are found to be maximum of 118.72 MPa and 17.82 HV res.ectively which are 39.67%and 26.11%greater than that of KGKG laminates.without Fs.***,the flexural and impact s.rength of s.me laminates.with 10 wt% Fs.filler exhibited a maximum value of 142.77 MPa and 62.08 kJ/m^(2).In order to corroborate its.applicability for s.ructural and building materials.in open environment,the dimens.onal s.ability of the compos.te has.been s.udied through mois.ure abs.rption *** influences.of Fs.filler loading on dimens.onal s.ability and res.s.ance to mois.ure abs.rption capacity of laminates.are als. *** experimental res.lts.reflected that the addition of Fs.filler has.s.gnificantly improved the dimens.onal s.ability of the laminates.in mois. environment by reducing the mois.ure abs.rption *** further s.pport the mode of failures.a fractography inves.igation of fractured s.rfaces.was.conducted.
