The tribological behaviour of gravity die s.ir cas. LM6alloy with graphite(Gr)and s.licon nitride nanoparticles.was.***?Gr?s.3N4hybrid compos.te,Al?s.3N4nanocompos.te and Al?Gr nanocompos.tes.were s.parately fabricated to inves.igate their frictional and wear characteris.ics.under dry s.iding *** was.us.d to ens.re the uniform pres.nce of nano s.3N4and graphite in the cas..L9orthogonal array method was.chos.n to conduct the experiments.to s.udy the effect of different applied loads.20,30and40N)and s.iding dis.ances.1,2and3km).The res.lts.s.owed that the res.ective wear rate and coefficient of friction(COF)decreas.d by25%and15%for hybrid compos.te when compared with thos. of Al?s.3N4nanocompos.te whereas.the wear rate and COF of Al?Gr was.found to be very *** micro Vickers.hardnes. of the hybrid compos.te was.4%more than that of the s.mple nanocompos.te and there was.not much notable variation for Al?Gr and Al?s.3N4nanocompos.te *** electron micros.ope was.us.d to analyze the worn s.rface and s.bs.rface,from which it was.noted that the predominant wear mechanis.s.obs.rved were abras.ve for nanocompos.te and both abras.ve and adhes.ve mechanis. for hybrid *** of variance(ANOVA)and F-tes. were us.d to check the validity model and to determine the s.gnificant parameters.affecting the wear rates.

The Mandovi es.uary is.a prominent water body that runs.along the wes. coas. ofIndia. It forms.an es.uarine network with the adjacent Zuari es.uary, connected via the Cumbharjua canal. The phys.co-chemical conditions.s.en in the Mandovi es.uary are influenced by two factors. the fres. water runoff during the mons.on s.as.n (June-s.ptember) and the tidal influx of coas.al s.awater during the s.mmer (October to May) s.as.n. However, the effects.of mons.on related changes.on the phytoplankton of the Mandovi es.uary are not yet fully unders.ood. An attempt to unders.and the s.me has.been made here by applying the proces. of daily s.mpling at a fixed s.ation throughout the mons.on s.as.n. It was.noticed that the ons.t of the mons.on is.res.ons.ble for an increas. in nitrate levels.upto 26 μM from a (chl a) as.high as.14 μg·L-1 during the s.me period. The phytoplankton population was.obs.rved through both chemotaxonomy and micros.opy and was.found to be compos.d mainly of diatoms. CHEMTAX analys.s.further uncovers.the pres.nce of s.veral other groups.of phytoplankton, the pres.nce of which is.yet to be reported in many other tropical es.uaries. It includes.chrys.phytes. cyanobacteria, pras.nophytes. prymnes.ophytes.and chlorophytes. The appearance of phytoplankton groups.at various.s.ages.of the mons.on was.recorded, and this.data is.dis.us.ed in relation to environmental changes.in the Mandovi es.uary during the mons.on s.as.n.

In this.work, power efficient butterfly unit bas.d FFT architecture is.pres.nted. The butterfly unit is.des.gned us.ng floating-point fus.d arithmetic units. The fus.d arithmetic units.include two-term dot product unit and add-s.btract unit. In thes. arithmetic units. operations.are performed over complex data values. A modified fus.d floating-point two-term dot product and an enhanced model for the Radix-4 FFT butterfly unit are propos.d. The modified fus.d two-term dot product is.des.gned us.ng Radix-16 booth multiplier. Radix-16 booth multiplier will reduce the s.itching activities.compared to Radix-8 booth multiplier in exis.ing s.s.em and als. will reduce the area required. The propos.d architecture is.implemented efficiently for Radix-4 decimation in time(DIT) FFT butterfly with the two floating-point fus.d arithmetic units. The propos.d enhanced architecture is.s.nthes.zed, implemented, placed and routed on a FPGA device us.ng Xilinx Is. tool. It is.obs.rved that the Radix-4 DIT fus.d floating-point FFT butterfly requires.50.17% les. s.ace and 12.16% reduced power compared to the exis.ing methods.and the propos.d enhanced model requires.49.82% les. s.ace on the FPGA device compared to the propos.d des.gn. Als., reduced power cons.mption is.addres.ed by utilizing the reus.bility technique, which res.lts.in 11.42% of power reduction of the enhanced model compared to the propos.d des.gn.

A s.mi-flexible binder-free graphitic carbon nitride(g-CN) intercalated polypyrrole(PPy) nanocompos.te thin film was.prepared via hybrid electros.ray technique. A homogeneous.thin film was.achieved by the controlled s.ray proces.. A depos.ted thin film illus.rated the amorphous.nature of compos.te with high s.rface purity and good chemical compos.tion. The s.rface analys.s.confirmed the s.oother s.rface with well-defined dis.inct phas.s.of g-CNand PPy matrix in the compos.te thin film. The electrochemical s.udies.exhibited that a maximum areal capacity of the thin film was.achieved to be 289.6 mF/cm~2 at a current dens.ty of 0.4 mA/cm~2,which is.higher than that of pris.ine PPy(194.8 mF/cm~2). The heteros.ructure electrode illus.rated that the life cycles.of 99% could be up to 10,000 cycles.with low res.s.ance due to the s.nergetic effect of g-CNand PPy matrix with s.rong material adhes.on(hybrid s.ray proces.) on the s.rface. A binder-free heteros.ructure thin film will play a s.gnificant role in the energy s.orage application.
