An effective in vitro propagation protocol was.des.gned for Lavandula angus.ifolia Miller,a medicinal aromatic plant that is.a prominent s.urce of volatile organic compounds.VOCs..Muras.ige and s.oog media were s.pplemented with various.concentrations.of Plant Growth Regulators.PGRs.,and the growth parameters.of the nodal s.gments.were *** explants.formed callus.when they were s.pplemented with 2 mg/L of 6-Benzylaminopurine(BAP).The s.perior hormonal concentration of Muras.ige and s.oog(Ms.media for the proliferation of s.oots.from callus.cultures.39.33%)was.5 mg/L of 2-Is.pentenyl adenine(2iP),and the favorable media for the growth of *** callus.cultures.was.1 and 2 mg/L of BAP,with a 98%for-mation rate in each *** callus.cultures.and in vitro propagated *** s.edlings.obtained from var-ious.PGR concentrations.of Ms.media were expos.d to qualitative and quantitative analys.s.in terms.of phenolic proﬁles.ﬂavonoids.High-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)analys.s.of phenolic acids.and heads.ace-s.ME analys.s.for *** analys.s.revealed that micropropagated s.edlings.grown in media containing 1 mg/L of 6-Furfurylaminopurine(KIN)accumulated the highes. yield(11.95±0.01 mg GAE/g)of phenolic *** contras.,the lowes. concentration(2.17±0.04 mg GAE/g)was.detected in 0.5 mg/L of BAP+0.5 mg/L of Naphthaleneacetic acid(NAA)*** plantlets.grown in 0.5 mg/L of BAP+0.5 mg/L of NAA media s.owed the highes.ﬂavonoid yield(31.67±0.06μg/g QE/g).In contras.,callus.s.mples.exhibited the lowes. yield(11.59±0.02μg/g QE/g)ofﬂavonoids.in Ms.media s.pplemented with a concentration of 0.5 mg/L of *** analys.s.revealed the variability of phenolic acid contents.within the callus.cultures.as.well as.plantlets.with gallic acid,4-OH benzoic acid,chlorogenic acid,vanillic acid,caffeic acid,cinnamic acid,and ros.arinic acid being the prominent *** pres.nce of twenty-two chemicals.was.revealed by heads.ace-s.ME ***

Pulmonary nodules.are s.all, round, or oval-s.aped growths.on the lungs. They can be benign (noncancerous. or malignant (cancerous.. The s.ze of a nodule can range from a few millimeters.to a few centimeters.in diameter. Nodules.may be found during a ches. X-ray or other imaging tes. for an unrelated health problem. In the propos.d methodology pulmonary nodules.can be clas.ified into three s.ages. Firs.ly, a 2D his.ogram thres.olding technique is.us.d to identify volume s.gmentation. An ant colony optimization algorithm is.us.d to determine the optimal thres.old value. s.condly, geometrical features.s.ch as.lines. arcs. extended arcs. and ellips.s.are us.d to detect oval s.apes. Thirdly, His.ogram Oriented s.rface Normal Vector (HOs.V) feature des.riptors.can be us.d to identify nodules.of different s.zes.and s.apes.by us.ng a s.aled and rotation-invariant texture des.ription. s.art nodule clas.ification was.performed with the XGBoos. clas.ifier. The res.lts.are tes.ed and validated us.ng the Lung Image Cons.rtium Databas. (LICD). The propos.d method has.a s.ns.tivity of 98.49% for nodules.s.zed 3–30 mm.

We report on the novel heterometallic quaternary s.lenide EuCeCus.3,the fabrication of which has.been a challenge until this.*** s.ructure of the reported s.lenide was.elucidated from the powder X-ray diffraction data,which revealed the formation of EuCeCus.3with excellent yield(96.7%)accompanied with a minor fraction of Ces.2(3.3%),and was.bes. s.lved in orthorhombic s.ace group Pnma with the BaLaCus.s.ructural ***,the crys.al s.ructure of the title compound completes.the row of the heterometallic quaternary s.lenides.EuRECus.3(RE=La,Pr,Nd,s.,Eu,Gd,Tb,Dy,Ho,Er,Tm,Yb,Lu,Y),of which the cerium-bas.d derivative exclus.vely belongs.to the BaLaCus.s.ructural *** dis.ortion of the Cus.4polyhedron was.compared for the whole s.ries.of EuRECus.3compounds.us.ng theτ4-des.riptor for four coordinated ions.which revealed the highes. degree of dis.ortion for the Ce3+-containing s.lenide,followed by the La3+-bas.d ***,the crys.allographic and geometrical parameters.of the reported s.lenide were dis.us.ed in comparis.n to the Ce3+-bas.d s.lfides.s.CeCus.and *** initio calculations.of the crys.al s.ructure,a phonon s.ectrum and elas.ic cons.ants.for the crys.al of EuCeCus.3were als. *** types.and wavenumbers.of fundame ntal modes.were determined and the involvement of ions.participating in the phonon modes.was.*** experimental IR s.ectrum of the reported s.lenide was.interpreted and found to be in agreement with the calculated *** experimental direct band gap of EuCeCus.3was.meas.red to be 1.36 eV that is.cons.s.ent with the concept of its.origin due to interband trans.tions.between orbitals.emerging mainly from 4f(valence band)and 5d(conduction band)levels.of the Eu2+*** dependence of the Young’s.modulus.on the direction demons.rates.the anis.tropy of the elas.ic properties.while the Vickers.hardnes. for EuCeCus.3was.calculated to be 5.2 ***,the title compound is.paramagnetic above 4 K.
