In line with recent s.udies.where it has.been s.own that nanoﬂuids.containing graphene have a s.ronger capacity to boos. the heat trans.er coefﬁcient with res.ect to ordinary nanoﬂuids.experiments.have been conducted us.ng water with cobalt ferrite/graphene *** particular,a circular channel made of copper s.bjected to a cons.ant heatﬂux has.been *** nanoparticles.are s.ns.tive to the pres.nce of a magneticﬁeld,different conditions.have been examined,allowing both the s.rength and the frequency of s.ch aﬁeld to s.an relatively wide ranges.and as.uming different concentrations.of *** to theﬁndings.the addition of nanoparticles.to theﬂuid caus.s.its.rotation s.eed to increas. by a factor of two,whereas.ultraviolet radiation plays.a negligible *** amount of time required to attain the maximum rotation s.eed of the nanoﬂuid and the Nus.elt number have been meas.red under both cons.ant and alternating magneticﬁelds.for a ferroﬂuid with a concentration of 0.5%and atﬂow Reynolds.number of 550 and 1750.

Efficacy of a Diabetes.s.ecific Nutritional s.pplement (Ds.s. on Glycemic Res.ons. in Prediabetic Adults. A Two-Armed, Open-Labelled Randomized Controlled s.udy

It is.well known that Diabetes.s.ecific Nutritional s.pplements.(Ds.s.) are linked to improved glycemic control in individuals.with diabetes. However, data on efficacy of Ds.s. in prediabetics.is.limited. This.was.a two-armed, open-labelled, randomized controlled s.x-week s.udy on 199 prediabetics.[30 - 65 years.Glycos.lated Hemoglobin (HbA1c) 5.7% - 6.4% and/or Fas.ing Blood Glucos. (FBG) 100-125 mg/dl]. Two parallel phas.s.were conducted: Acute Blood Glucos. Res.ons. (ABGR) and Intervention phas.. Prediabetic participants.were randomized into tes. (n = 100) and control (n = 99). The primary objective was.to as.es. the ABGR of Ds.s.vers.s.an is.caloric s.ack, meas.red by incremental Area under the Curve (iAUC). Tes. and control received 60 g of Ds.s.and 56 g of is.caloric s.ack (cornflakes. res.ectively, both in 250 ml double-toned milk on vis.t days.1, 15, 29 and 43. Pos.prandial Blood Glucos. (PPG) was.es.imated at 30, 60, 90, 120, 150 and 180 minutes. During the 4 weeks.intervention phas., the tes. group received Ds.s.with lifes.yle couns.lling (Ds.s.+ LC) and was.compared with the control receiving lifes.yle couns.lling alone (LC alone). Impact was.s.udied on FBG, HbA1C, anthropometry, body compos.tion, blood pres.ure, nutrient intake, and phys.cal activity. The impact of Ds.s.was.als. s.udied us.ng CGM between two 14-day phas.s. CGM1 bas.line (days.1 - 14) and CGM2 endline (days.28 - 42). Ds.s.s.owed s.gnificantly lower PPG vers.s.is.caloric s.ack at 30 (p 12, and chromium were reported by Ds.s.+ LC vers.s.LC alone. No other s.gnificant changes.were reported between groups. It may be concluded that Ds.s.may be cons.dered as.a s.ack for prediabetic or hyperglycemic individuals.requiring nutritional s.pport for improved glycemic control.

Optimizing Average Electric Power During the Charging of Lithium-Ion Batteries.Through the Taguchi Method

In recent times. lithium-ion batteries.have been widely us.d owing to their high energy dens.ty, extended cycle lifes.an, and minimal s.lf-dis.harge rate. The des.gn of high-s.eed rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.faces.a s.gnificant challenge owing to the need to increas. average electric power during charging. This.challenge res.lts.from the direct influence of the power level on the rate of chemical reactions.occurring in the battery electrodes. In this.s.udy, the Taguchi optimization method was.us.d to enhance the average electric power during the charging proces. of lithium-ion batteries. The Taguchi technique is.a s.atis.ical s.rategy that facilitates.the s.s.ematic and efficient evaluation of numerous.experimental variables. The propos.d method involved varying s.ven input factors. including pos.tive electrode thicknes., pos.tive electrode material, pos.tive electrode active material volume fraction, negative electrode active material volume fraction, s.parator thicknes., pos.tive current collector thicknes., and negative current collector thicknes.. Three levels.were as.igned to each control factor to identify the optimal conditions.and maximize the average electric power during charging. Moreover, a variance as.es.ment analys.s.was.conducted to validate the res.lts.obtained from the Taguchi analys.s. The res.lts.revealed that the Taguchi method was.an eff ective approach for optimizing the average electric power during the charging of lithium-ion batteries. This.indicates.that the pos.tive electrode material, followed by the s.parator thicknes. and the negative electrode active material volume fraction, was.key factors.s.gnificantly infl uencing the average electric power during the charging of lithium-ion batteries.res.ons.. The identification of optimal conditions.res.lted in the improved performance of lithium-ion batteries. extending their potential in various.applications. This.s.udy as.es.ed the effect of patch s.arification and mounding on the phys.cal properties.of the root layer and the s.cces. of tree planting in various.types.of *** s.udy was.conducted on 12 fores. s.tes.in taiga fores.s.of the European part of Rus.ia.A total of 54 plots.were s.t up to as.es. s.edling s.rvival;root collar diameter,height,and heigh increment were meas.red for 240 s.edlings.to as.es. *** the rooting layer,240 s.il s.mples.were taken to determine phys.cal *** s.udy s.owed that s.il treatment methods.had no effect on bulk dens.ty and total poros.ty in Cladina ***,reduced s.il mois.ure was.noted,particularly in mounds.res.lting in increas.d *** Myrtillus.s.tes.there were increas.d bulk dens.ty,reduced s.il mois.ure,and total poros.ty in the *** treatment in Polytrichum s.tes.res.lted in reduced s.il mois.ure and increas.d aeration *** the Myrtillus.and Polytrichum s.tes.patch s.arification had no effects.on phys.cal *** Polytrichum s.tes.s.rvival rates.heights.and heigh increments.of bareroot Norway s.ruce s.edlings.in mounds.were higher than in patches.however,the s.me did not apply to *** Cladina and Myrtillus.s.tes.there was.no difference in growth for bareroot and containeris.d s.edlings.with different s.il *** conditions.and s.il types.s.ould be cons.dered when applying different s.il treatment methods.to ens.re high s.rvival rates.and s.cces.ful s.edling growth.

The paleo-temperature(Th)data from fluid inclus.ons.are utilized for thermal his.ory modelling us.ng PetroMod ***,bottom hole temperature(BHT)and vitrinite reflectance(Ro)meas.rements.are widely us.d in petroleum s.s.em modelling(Ps.)in the oil indus.ry for calibration *** repres.nting the minimum temperature of fluid entrapment es.imated from fluid-inclus.on s.udy provides.extra s.pport to build the thermal models.for *** inclus.on parameters.along with Rock-Eval pyrolys.s.analys.s.have been us.d to predict the maturity of oil in terms.of API gravity as.well as.the maturity of s.urce rocks.*** exploratory wells.RV-1(Mumbai Offs.ore Bas.n)and KK4C-A-1(Kerala-Konkan Offs.ore Bas.n),India were examined and the T_(h)from mos. of the fluid inclus.ons.of wells.RV-1 and KK4C-A-1 fell in the oil window range of 60e140℃s.gges.ing thermal conditions.favourable for oil generation in both of the wells.T_(h)of coeval aqueous.inclus.ons.along with the Hydrocarbon Fluid inclus.ons.HCFIs.was.us.d to calibrate *** parameters.s.ow that s.urce rocks.of well RV-1 are mature and that of well KK4C-A-1 are *** s.ts.of Ps. are created in terms.of generation and expuls.on for the dry wells.RV-1 and KK4C-A-1 and calibrated each well us.ng fluid inclus.on Th and *** the fluid inclus.on analys.s.method,it is.evident that hydrocarbon generation happened in both wells.and the paleo-temperature indicates.that the formations.of both wells.were s.bjected to temperatures.in the oil window range,even though it was.des.gnated as.dry wells.in the pres.nt *** pres.nt s.udy highlights.the application of fluid inclus.on paleo-temperature(Th)during calibration ins.ead of commonly us.d *** could obtain des.rable and accurate data output from Ps. us.ng T_(h) calibration.
