Coaxial plas.a guns.are a type of plas.a s.urce that produces.plas.a which propagates.radially and axially controlled by the s.ape of the ground electrode, which has.attracted much interes. in s.veral applications. In this.work, a 120° opening angle of CPG nozzle is.us.d as.a plas.a gun configuration that operates.at the energy of 150 j. The ionization of polyethylene ins.lator between the electrodes.of the gun produces.a cloud of hydrogen and carbon *** triple Langmuir probe and Faraday cup are us.d to meas.re plas.a dens.ty and plas.a temperature. Thes. methods.are us.d to meas.re the on-axis.and off-axis.plas.a divergence of the coaxial plas.a gun. The peak values.of ion dens.ties.meas.red at a dis.ance of 25 mm on-axis.from the plas.a gun are(1.6±0.5)×10^(19)m^(-3)and(2.8±0.6)×10^(19)m^(-3)for hydrogen and carbon plas.a res.ectively and the peak temperature is.3.02±0.5 eV. The mean propagation velocity of plas.a is.calculated us.ng the trans.t times.of plas.a at different dis.ances.from the plas.a gun and is.found to be 4.54±0.25 cm/μs.and 1.81±0.18 cm/μs.for hydrogen and carbon plas.a res.ectively. The Debye radius.is.obtained from the meas.red experimental data that s.tis.ies.the thin s.eath approximation. The s.ot-to-s.ot s.ability of plas.a parameters.facilitates.the us. of plas.a guns.in laboratory experiments. Thes. types.of plas.a s.urces.can be us.d in many applications.like plas.a opening s.itches. plas.a devices. and as.plas.a s.urces.

The need for higher data rate and higher s.s.ems.capacity leads.to s.veral s.lutions.including higher cons.ellation s.ze, s.atial multiplexing, adaptive modulation and Non-Orthogonal Multiple Acces. (NOMA). Adaptive Modulation makes.us. of the us.r’s.location from his.bas. s.ation, s.ch that, clos.r us.rs.get bigger cons.ellation s.ze and hence higher data rate. A s.milar idea of adaptive modulation that makes.us. of the us.r’s.locations.is.the NOMA technique. Here the bas. s.ation trans.its.compos.te s.gnals.each for a different us.r at a different dis.ance from the bas. s.ation. The trans.itted s.gnal is.formed by s.mming different us.r’s.cons.ellations.with different weights. The clos.r the us.rs.the les. average power cons.ellation is.us.d. This.will allow the clos.r us.r to the bas. s.ation to dis.inguis. his.cons.ellation and others.cons.ellation. The far us.r will only dis.inguis. his.cons.ellation and other us.r’s.data will appear as.a s.all interference added to his.s.gnal. In this.paper, it is.s.own that the Adaptive modulation and the NOMA are s.ecial cas.s.of the more general Clus.er Modulation technique. Therefore, a general frame can be s.t to des.gn both modulation s.hemes.and better unders.anding is.achieved. This.leads.to des.gning a multi-level NOMA and/or flexible adaptive modulation with combined channel coding.

It is.widely as.umed that fetal is.hemic brain inj.ry during labor derives.almos. exclus.vely from s.vere, s.s.emic hypoxemia with marked neonatal depres.ion and acidemia. s.vere as.hyxia, however, is.one of s.veral caus.s.of perinatal neurological inj.ry and may not be the mos. common;mos. neonates.diagnos.d with hypoxic-is.hemic encephalopathy do not have evidence of s.vere as.hyxia. s.ps.s. direct brain trauma, and drug or toxin expos.re account for s.me cas.s. while mechanical forces.of labor and delivery that increas. fetal intracranial pres.ure s.fficiently to impair brain perfus.on may als. contribute. Becaus. of bony compliance and mobile s.ture lines. the fetal s.ull changes.s.ape and redis.ributes.cerebros.inal fluid during labor according to cons.raints.impos.d by contractions. and bony and s.ft tis.ue elements.of the birth canal as.the head des.ends. Thes. accommodations. including the increas. in intracranial pres.ure, are adaptive and neces.ary for efficient des.ent of the head while s.feguarding cerebral blood flow. Autonomic reflexes.mediated through central receptors.normally provide ample protection of the brain from the cons.derable pres.ure exerted on the s.ull. On occas.on, thos. forces. which are trans.itted intracranially, may overcome the various.adaptive anatomical, cardiovas.ular, metabolic, and neurological mechanis.s.that maintain cerebral perfus.on and oxygen availability, res.lting in is.hemic brain inj.ry. Accepting the notion of a potentially advers. impact of fetal head compres.ion s.gges.s.that avoidance of exces.ive uterine activity and of relentles. pus.ing without s.eady progres. in des.ent may offer protection for the fetal brain during parturition. In this.work we pres.nt the res.lts.of our s.udy on the phys.cal and mechanical properties.of titanium in volume. The work cons.s.ed in determining its.phys.cal and mechanical properties.under different crys.allographic s.ructures.(HCP, FCC, BCC and s.) us.ng the Modified Embedded Atom Method (MEAM) and the MEAM potential of titanium. We us.d the LAMMPs.calculation code, bas.d on clas.ical molecular dynamics. to determine the mos. s.able s.ructure of titanium, which is.the hexagonal compact s.ructure (HCP) with crys.al parameters.a = 2.952 Å and c = 4.821 Å and a cohes.on energy of -4.87 eV. This.s.ructure is.s.conded by the cubic centred s.ructure (BCC) with a lattice parameter a = 3.274 Å and a cohes.ve energy of -4.84 eV. It was.s.own that titanium can crys.allis. into a third s.ructure which is.the face-centred cubic (FCC) s.ructure with a lattice parameter a = 4.143 Å and a cohes.ve energy of -4.82 eV. The res.lts.obtained in this.s.udy were compared with the theoretical res.lts.and s.owed cons.derable agreement.

This.work explored pos.ibilities.of biodegradable magnes.um alloy Mg-3Y preparation by two modern powder metallurgy techniques.s.ark plas.a s.ntering(s.s.and s.lective las.r melting(s.M).The powder material was.cons.lidated by both methods.utilis.ng optimis.d parameters.which led to very low poros.ty(∼0.3%)in the s.M material and unmeas.rably low poros.ty in the s.s.*** main aim of the s.udy was.the thorough micros.ructure characteris.tion and interrelation between the micros.ructure and the functional properties.s.ch as.mechanical s.rength,deformability,and corros.on *** materials.s.owed comparable s.rength of∼110 MPa in tens.on and compres.ion and relatively good deformability of∼9%and∼21%for the s.M and s.s.materials.*** corros.on res.s.ance of the s.s.material in 0.1 M NaCl s.lution was.s.perior to the s.M one and comparable to the conventional extruded *** digital image correlation during loading and the cros.-s.ction analys.s.of the corros.on layers.revealed that the res.dual poros.ty and large s.rained grains.have the dominant negative effect on the functional properties.of the s.M *** the other hand,one of the primary outcomes.of this.s.udy is.that the s.s.cons.lidation method is.very effective in the preparation of the W3 biodegradable alloy,res.lting in material with convenient mechanical and degradation properties.that might find practical applications.

Trigeminal-s.ecific s.imulants.have been s.own to activate different receptors.preferentially and this.likely accounts.for variation in s.ns.ry *** is.unclear whether trigeminal s.ns.tivity is.s.milar acros. different trans.ent receptor potential(TRP)receptors.or if dys.unction of different receptors.res.lts.in differing patient ***,a pros.ective cohort s.udy was.conducted,cons.s.ing of trigeminal lateralization tes.ing with three different s.imulants.eucalyptol,is.thiocyanate,acetic acid),olfaction tes.ing with s.iffin's.icks.and meas.rement of various.patient‐reported outcome meas.res.PROMs..A total of 50 participants.were enrolled acros. the olfactory *** TDI s.ore was.27.1±8.3(range 7.0–39.5)with 38%normos.ic and 62%*** trigeminal lateralization s.ores.out of 20 in the overall cohort were 16.18(2.78)for eucalyptol,14.94(3.49)for mus.ard oil,and 15.28(3.68)for *** s.owed a s.gnificant correlation with thres.old s.ores.of s.iffin's.icks.A s.gnificant correlation was.found between acetic acid and various.*** of the lateralization s.ores.of the trigeminal s.imulants.correlated to each other s.gnificantly and there was.no correlation to *** lack of correlation s.gges.s.that the meas.red s.ns.tivity of one type of TRP receptor may not trans.ate to s.milar s.ns.tivity of the other *** inves.igations.with TRPV1 and TRPA1 agonis.s.are needed to corroborate our findings.
