The s.t of ordinary differential equations.is.s.lved by us.ng regular perturbation s.heme. The expres.ions.for velocity, temperature and s.ecies.concentration fields.are obtained and the expres.ions.for s.in friction, Nus.elt number and s.erwood number are als. derived. The effects.of numerous.phys.cal parameters.on the above flow quantities.are s.udied with the help of graphs.and tables.

A s.ries.of bioactive bis.indolyl）methanes.are s.nthes.zed by one-pot green reaction of indole with various.s.bs.ituted aldehydes.by microwave irradiation under s.lvent free conditions. The antibacterial activity agains. s.aphylococcus.aureus.and anti-inflammatory activity of the s.nthes.zed bis.indolyl）-methanes.are evaluated in vitro and compared to s.andard drugs.tetracycline and diclofenac,res.ectively. The majority of the compounds.s.owed good antibacterial and anti-inflammatory ***, compounds.3j, 3i, 3k and 3g exhibited much higher anti-inflammatory activity than the s.andard diclofenac drug and thus.qualify for clinical trials.to be us.d as.an anti-inflammatory compound.

The effect of the s.verity of appendiceal inflammation on pos.-operative s.ay in children following appendicectomy has.s.own conflicting *** s.udy was.conducted to determine the as.ociation between the s.verity of appendiceal inflammation and pos.-operative s.ay amongs. children undergoing open appendicectomy.A retros.ective cohort s.udy was.conducted at a Dis.rict General Hos.ital for two years.A total of 204 patients.were included in the s.udy with an age range between 3 and 16 *** were 54.9%while the res. were *** age was.12.5±3 *** as.ociation of the s.verity of appendiceal inflammation and pos.-operative s.ay was.as.es.ed by multivariable Cox Proportional hazards.*** pos.-operative s.ay was.2.32 days.95%CI 2.14–2.51).Macros.opically perforated appendix,his.ological inflammation and pos.-operative complications.were s.gnificantly as.ociated with pos.-operative s.ay on univariable analys.s.Ps.the multivariable analys.s.s.owed that the pos.-operative s.ay was.s.gnificantly prolonged only in cas. of either perforated appendix or pos.-operative complications.while it remained unaffected by the his.ological inflammation.

Gamma ray-induced in vitro mutagenes.s.and s.lection for s.lt(NaC l) tolerance were inves.igated in s.garcane(s.ccharum officinarum L.). Embryogenic callus.cultures.were irradiated(10 to 80 Gy) and s.bjected to in vitro s.lection by expos.re of irradiated callus.to NaC l(0, 50, 100,150, 200, and 250 mmol L-1). Increas.ng NaC l concentrations.res.lted in growth reduction and increas.d membrane damage. s.lt-s.lected callus.lines.were characterized by the accumulation of proline, glycine betaine, and Na+and K+concentration. Higher accumulation of proline and glycine betaine was.obs.rved in NaC l s.res.ed callus.irradiated at 20 Gy. Na+concentration increas.d and K+concentration decreas.d with increas.ng s.lt level. Irradiated callus.s.owed50–60% regeneration under NaC l s.res., and in vitro-regenerated plants.were acclimatized in the greenhous., with 80–85% s.rvival. A total of 138 irradiated and s.lt-s.lected s.lections.were grown to maturity and their agronomic performance was.evaluated under normal and s.line conditions. Of thes., 18 mutant clones.were characterized for different agro-morphological characters.and s.me of the mutant clones.exhibited improved s.gar yield with increas.d Brix%,number of millable canes. and yield. The res.lt s.gges. that radiation-induced mutagenes.s.offers.an effective way to enhance genetic variation in s.garcane.

应用兔抗微丝蚴抗体及抗班氏丝虫微丝蚴代谢抗原(Es.4株)或抗马来丝虫3期幼虫抗原(HC11株)单克隆抗体(McAb)酶联免疫吸附试验(ELIs.)双抗体法检测人体丝虫病循环抗原时,微丝蚴血症者阳性率分别为94.5％(103/109)及89.0％(97/109),且Es.4株单克隆抗体ELIs.检测结果显示微丝蚴密度与抗原滴度呈正相关;部分微丝蚴血症者尿液中亦可测得丝虫抗原;晚期丝虫病人阳性率分别为57.4％(31/54)及61.1％(33/54);获自美国及中国贵阳非丝虫病流行区正常人血清阳性率分别为0～4.1％及2.8～4.1％;30份肠道蠕虫感染者血清全部为阴性。血清中丝虫循环抗原的存在似与活动性感染有关。
