Dis.oint s.mpling is.critical for rigorous.and unbias.d evaluation of s.ate-of-th.-art (s.TA) models.e.g., Attention Graph.and Vis.on Trans.ormer. Wh.n training, validation, and tes. s.ts.overlap or s.are data, it introduces.a bias.th.t inflates.performance metrics.and prevents.accurate as.es.ment of a model’s.true ability to generalize to new examples. Th.s.paper pres.nts.an innovative dis.oint s.mpling approach.for training s.TA models.for th. h.pers.ectral Image Clas.ification (h.0}C). By s.parating training, validation, and tes. data with.ut overlap, th. propos.d meth.d facilitates.a fairer evaluation of h.w well a model can clas.ify pixels.it was.not expos.d to during training or validation. Experiments.demons.rate th. approach.s.gnificantly improves.a model’s.generalization compared to alternatives.th.t include training and validation data in tes. data (A trivial approach.involves.tes.ing th. model on th. entire h.pers.ectral datas.t to generate th. ground truth.maps. Th.s.approach.produces.h.gh.r accuracy but ultimately res.lts.in low generalization performance). Dis.oint s.mpling eliminates.data leakage between s.ts.and provides.reliable metrics.for bench.arking progres. in h.0}C. Dis.oint s.mpling is.critical for advancing s.TA models.and th.ir real-world application to large-s.ale land mapping with.h.pers.ectral s.ns.rs. Overall, with.th. dis.oint tes. s.t, th. performance of th. deep models.ach.eves.96.36% accuracy on Indian Pines.data, 99.73% on Pavia Univers.ty data, 98.29% on Univers.ty of h.us.on data, 99.43% on Bots.ana data, and 99.88% on s.linas.data. © 2024 Th. Th.s.ch.llenge res.lts.from th. direct influence of th. power level on th. rate of ch.mical reactions.occurring in th. battery electrodes. In th.s.s.udy, th. Taguch. optimization meth.d was.us.d to enh.nce th. average electric power during th. ch.rging proces. of lith.um-ion batteries. Th. Taguch. tech.ique is.a s.atis.ical s.rategy th.t facilitates.th. s.s.ematic and efficient evaluation of numerous.experimental variables.
