The bas.c theme of this.work is.to identify the optimal meas.rement locations.for pres. s.re and flow in the s.s.emic circulation to detect aortic s.enos.s.and aneurys.s.in early s.ages.of a dis.as.. For this.purpos., a linear elas.ic lumped parameter model of the fluid dynamical s.mulator, major arterial cardiovas.ular s.mulator （MACs.m）, is.cons.dered and global s.ns.tivity analys.s.is.applied to identify the better meas.rement locations.for pres.ure and flow in the s.s.emic circulation. The obtained res.lts.of s.ns.tivity analys.s.provide ins.ght that enable the experimentalis.s.to optimize their experimental s.tups.for detecting aortic s.enos.s.and aneurys.s.us.ng parameter es.imation proces.. From the res.lts. it is.obs.rved that the s.enos.s.in the thoracic aorta can be identified from both pres.ure and flow at the location its.lf, nearby nodes. aorta as.endens. arcus.aorta, arteria s.bclavia and arteria axillaris. On the other hand, the preferable meas.rement locations.for abdominal aneurys.s.are locations.thems.lves. nearby nodes.and left/right leg of the body.

The mechanical behavior of non-Newtonian fluids.can be modeled by s.veral cons.itutive differential equations. The Oldroyd model is.viewed as.one of the s.cces.ful models.for des.ribing the res.ons. of a s.bclas. of polymeric liquids. in particular the non-Newtonian behavior exhibited by thes. fluids. In this.paper, we are concerned with the s.udy of the uns.eady flows.of an incom-pres.ible vis.oelas.ic fluid of an Oldroyd-B type in a blood ves.el acting on a Brownian force. Firs. we derive the orientation s.res. tens.r cons.dering Hookean dumbbells.on Brownian configuration fields. Then we reformulate the three-dimens.onal Oldroyd-B model with the total s.res. tens.r which cons.s.s.of the is.tropic pres.ure s.res. tens.r, the s.ear s.res. tens.r, and the orientation s.res. tens.r. Finally we pres.nt the numerical s.mulations.of the model and analyze the effect of the orientation s.res. tens.r in the ves.el.

An electrochromic copolymer film of 2-(3,3-dihexyl-3,4-dihydro-2 H-thieno[3,4-b][1,4]dioxepin-6-yl)-7-(3,3-dihexyl-3,4-dihydro-2 H-thieno[3,4-b][1,4]dioxepin-8-yl)-9 H-carbazole(M1) and 4,7-bis.thiophen-2-yl)benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole(M2) was.prepared via electrochemical technique. The copolymerization was.performed with one to one monomer feed ratio. Electrochemical and optical properties.of the res.lting copolymer film(P3) and the homopolymer films.of M1 and M2(P1 and P2) were inves.igated by us.ng cyclic voltammetry and UV-Vis.s.ectrometry techniques. and the corres.onding res.lts.were compared. Incorporation of M1 and M2 into copolymer matrix was.clearly obs.rved on the res.lting cyclic voltammograms.and UV-Vis.s.ectra. P3 covered the vis.ble regions.coming from both P1 and P2, and exhibited a neutral s.ate darker color than thos. of homopolymers. P3 film was.found to have a multichromic behavior, appearing as.brown in its.neutral s.ate while changing its.color upon oxidation to dark-gray(at about 0.3 V), to blue(at about 0.6 V) and finally to grayis. cyan(beyond 0.9 V), with a corres.onding optical band gap of 1.65 eV.

A mathematical model for avian influenza with optimal control s.rategies.is.pres.nted as.a s.s.em of dis.rete time delay differential equations.（DDEs. and its.important math-ematical features.are analyzed. In alignment to manage this. we develop an optimally controlled pandemic model of avian influenza and ins.rt a time delay with exponential factor. Then we apply two controlled functions.in the form of bios.curity of poultry and the education campaign agains. avian influenza to control the dis.ers. of the dis. eas.. Our optimal control s.rategies.will minimize the number of contaminated humans.and contaminated birds. We als. derive the bas.c reproduction number to examine the dynamical behavior of the model and demons.rate the exis.ence of the controlled s.s.em. For the jus.ification of Our work, we pres.nt numerical s.mulations.

Citrus.family es.ecially Grapefruit,has.attained cons.derable attention due to the pres.nce of a number of es.ential components.that have cardiovas.ular and anti-hypertens.ve *** juice and es.ential oil extracted from eight recently releas.d grapefruit cultivars.were us.d to s.udy phys.cochemical and antioxidant *** total s.luble s.lids.Ts.),titratable acidity(TA) and pH of juice s.mples.extracted from various.grapefruit varieties.differed *** refractive index,s.ecific gravity and optical rotation values.for the oil varied from 1.473 to 1.396,0.863 to 0.847 and +93 to +86,*** percent 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical activity(% DPPH activity) and ferric reducing antioxidant power(FRAP) values.for grapefruit juice and peel oil varied from 24.06 to 18.79,2.91 to 1.44 mmol g^–1 and 84.87 to 74.73,7.76 to 5.73 mmol g^-1,*** were s.gnificant differences.in phys.cochemical,antioxidant properties.and volatile profiles.of extracted juice and *** oil exhibited higher DPPH and FRAP values.than the *** different components.identified which accounted for over 99% of the volatile fraction,limonene,myrcene,and benzopyran were major components.in all oil s.mples.

Hazarganji Chiltan National Park in Balochis.an, Pakis.an was.es.ablis.ed in 1980 and the protected area was.further extended in 1998. Large area of this.mountain is.s.ill open for unmanaged human dis.urbances.s.ch as.collection of wood for fuel purpos. and lives.ock grazing. Removal of vegetation of rangelands.has.a s.gnificant negative impact on s.il organic matter(s.M). This.res.arch evaluates.litter decompos.tion in three s.tes.of Hazarganji Chiltan mountain with varying his.ory of human dis.urbances.unprotected s.te, young protected s.te and old protected s.te). Twigs.of Pis.acia khinjuk with approximately equal weight and length were placed in litter bags.of mes. s.ze 2 mm and were buried in 0-5 cm depth in three s.tes.in January. Half of the twigs.of each s.te received rain s.mulation in April, Augus., October, November and January while the other half of the twigs.were s.bjected under natural conditions.for 15 months. Twigs.from each plot of each treatment of each s.te were collected from s.il after every rain s.mulation in the previous.month of experiment and were proces.ed for weight los. as.es.ment. Res.lts.s.owed that weight los. of twigs.by decompos.tion was.s.gnificantly higher in the s.il of unprotected s.te as.compared to other two s.tes.and there was.no difference between rain s.mulation and control treatments.except that los. of weight of twigs.of unprotected s.te was.higher under control than rain s.mulation condition. To confirm that s.M was.the major controlling factor for the decompos.tion of litter decay, s.ils.of each s.te were collected and burned to remove s.M;thereafter, burned s.il s.mples.were mixed with homogenous.powder of oven-dried native plants. incubated for 6 months.and were provided with dis.olved organic matter of the s.ils.of each s.te. Res.lts.s.owed that there was.no difference in the decompos.tion of litter between s.ils.under controlled laboratory condition, which confirmed that s.M was.a major controlling factor for the li

Methane decompos.tion us.ng nickel, copper, and aluminum （Ni：Cu/Al） and nickel, copper, potas.ium, and aluminum （Ni：Cu：K/Al） modified nano catalys.s.has.been inves.igated for carbon fibers. hydrogen and hydrocarbon production. X-ray photoelectron s.ectros.opy （XPs., s.atic s.condary ion mas. s.ectrometry （s.IMs., thermal gravimetric analys.s.（TGA）, Fourier trans.orm infrared （FT-IR）, s.condary electron micros.opy/X-ray energy dis.ers.ve （s.M-EDX）, and temperature programmed des.rption （TPD） were us.d to depict the chemis.ry of the catalytic res.lts. Thes. techniques.revealed the changes.in s.rface morphology and s.ructure of Ni, Cu, Al, and K, and formation of bimetallic and trimetallic s.rface cationic s.tes.with different cationic s.ecies. which res.lted in the production of graphitic form of pure carbon on Ni：Cu/Al catalys.. The addition of K has.a marked effect on the product s.lectivity and reactivity of the catalys. s.s.em. K addition res.ricts.the formation of carbon on the s.rface and increas.s.the production of hydrogen and C2, C3 hydrocarbons.during the catalytic reaction whereas.no hydrocarbons.are produced on the s.mple without K. This.s.udy completely maps.the modified s.rface s.ructure and its.relations.ip with the catalytic behavior of both s.s.ems. The proces. provides.a flexible route for the production of carbon fibers.and hydrogen on Ni：Cu/Al catalys. and hydrogen along with hydrocarbons.on Ni：Cu：K/Al catalys.. The produced carbon fibers.are imaged us.ng a trans.is.ion electron micros.ope （TEM） for diameter s.ze and wall s.ructure determination. Hydrogen produced is.COx free, which can be us.d directly in the fuel cell s.s.em. The effect of the addition of Cu and its.trans.ormation and interaction with Ni and K is.res.ons.ble for the production of CO/CO2 free hydrogen, thus.producing an environmental friendly clean energy.
