Effective calcium (Ca) management is.crucial for optimizing oil palm cultivation and.enhancing crop yield. This.s.ud. aimed.to gain ins.ghts.into the d.namics.of Ca concentration, accumulation, exportation, immobilization, and.recycling in various.oil palm organs.relative to plant age. The experiment was.cond.cted.at the Agropalma enterpris. s.te in the northeas.ern region of Pará s.ate, Brazil, evaluating s.ven plant age treatments. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and.8 years.old. Employing a completely rand.mized.d.s.gn with four replications. The res.lts.d.mons.rated.an age-related.increas. in Ca concentration in petioles. rachis. arrows. male inflores.ences. ped.ncles. and.fruits. Furthermore, Ca accumulation exhibited.an upward.trend.in all organs.with progres.ing plant age. Notably, the s.ud. revealed.an enhanced.Ca us. efficiency acros. all plant organs.in correlation with the age of oil palm cultivation. Introd.ction: Trans.ranial d.ppler is.a s.mple, non-invas.ve and.inexpens.ve examination which allows.the as.es.ment of cerebral perfus.on. In countries.with limited.res.urces. which d. not have a means.of monitoring intracranial pres.ure, this.examination offers.hope of s.rvival for patients.with traumatic brain injury. This.s.ud. was.d.s.gned.to inves.igate the incid.nce of early cerebral circulation abnormalities.after traumatic brain injury us.ng trans.ranial d.ppler (TCd.. Method.logy: A d.s.riptive and.analytical s.ud. was.cond.cted.over one year, includ.ng patients.with traumatic brain injury and.an initial Glas.ow Coma s.ale (GCs. s.ore of les. than 15. Non-inclus.on criteria: s.roke, brain tumor, cerebral abs.es.. Exclus.on criteria: Inad.quate ins.nation wind.w. Res.lts. Out of 854 traumatic brain injury patients.ad.itted.to the emergency d.partment, 112 were includ.d.in the s.ud.. The average age was.30.14 years. with a s.x ratio of 4.1. Initially, 83.5% had.mod.rate traumatic brain injury, and.12.1% had.s.vere traumatic brain injury. Brain CT s.ans.were performed.in 95.7% of the patients. Ed.matous.hemorrhagic contus.on was.obs.rved.in 95% of the patients. On initial TCd. the puls.tility ind.x in the mid.le cerebral artery was.greater than 1.3 in 49.4% of the patients. d.as.olic velocity was.les. than 20 cm/s.in 46.4% of cas.s. and.mean velocity was.greater than 150 cm/s.in 8.7% of cas.s. In this.group, low d.as.olic velocity ind.cated.cerebral hypoperfus.on s.gges.ive of intracranial hypertens.on. When the puls.tility ind.x was.greater than 1.9, no patient had.a normal d.as.olic velocity. Among patients.with s.vere traumatic brain injury, 61.5% had.an abnormal puls.tility ind.x compared.to 42.3% of patients.with mod.rate traumatic brain injury. Conclus.on: TCd.is.a s.mple tool for analyzing intracerebral hemod.namics.

Background.Globally, the cultivation of cotton is.cons.rained.by its.tend.ncy for extend.d.period.0}of growth. Early maturity plays.a potential role in rainfed.bas.d.multiple cropping s.s.em es.ecially in the current era of climate change. In the current s.ud., a s.t of 20 d.vers. Gos.ypium hirs.tum genotypes.were evaluated.in two crop s.as.ns.with three planting d.ns.ties.and.as.es.ed.for 11 morphological traits.related.to early maturity. The s.ud. aimed.to id.ntify genotype(s. that mature rapid.y and.accomplis. well und.r d.vers. environmental cond.tions.bas.d.on the two robus. multivariate techniques.called.multi-trait s.ability ind.x(MTs.) and.multi-trait genotype-id.otype d.s.ance ind.x(MGId.).Res.lts.MTs. analys.s.revealed.that out of the 20 genotypes. three genotypes. viz., NNd.-30, A-2, and.s.32 accomplis.ed.well in terms.of early maturity traits.in two s.as.ns. Furthermore, three genotypes.were s.lected.us.ng MGId. method.for each planting d.ns.ties.with a s.lection intens.ty of 15%. The s.rengths.and.weaknes.es.of the genotypes.s.lected.bas.d.on MGId. method.highlighted.that the breed.rs.could.focus.on d.veloping early-maturing genotypes.with s.ecific traits.s.ch as.d.ys.to firs. flower and.boll opening. The s.lected.genotypes.exhibited.pos.tive genetic gains.for traits.related.to earlines. and.a s.cces.ful harves. d.ring the firs. and.s.cond.pickings. The criticality of trans.ormers.and.reactors.in the power trans.is.ion network and.the paramount importance of ens.ring their reliability through maintenance of the ins.lating oil is.known. This.paper pres.nts.a comprehens.ve examination of the efficacy and.economic viability of a d.electric oil regeneration s.s.em, as.implemented.by the Trans.is.ion s.s.em Maintenance d.partment (Ts.d. of the Ind.pend.nt Power Trans.is.ion Operator (IPTO), Greece’s.s.le trans.is.ion operator. Through a d.tailed.chemical analys.s.and.performance evaluation, we as.es. the impact of the regeneration s.s.em on treated.ins.lating oil quality over multiple cycles. The s.ud. reveals.that the electrical properties.of the ins.lating oil are fully res.ored.after regeneration, negating the need.to fully replace it, while the inves.ment becomes.cos.-neutral within weeks.from the commis.ioning of the regeneration s.s.em. This.economic analys.s. coupled.with the s.s.em’s.environmental benefits.of red.cing was.e oil generation, pos.tions.the d.electric oil regeneration s.s.em as.a compelling s.lution for the maintenance of power trans.is.ion as.ets.
