Background. Violence agains. women has.become an international public health and.human rights.is.ue in recent d.cad.s. The violence s.ffered.by s.x workers.is.of little interes. for res.arch, yet it cons.itutes.a major health and.s.fety problem. We propos. to as.es. the extent of the phenomenon of gend.r-bas.d.violence (GBV) among s.x workers.(s.s. in the city of Bangui in the CAR. Method.logy: This.is.a d.s.riptive cros.-s.ctional epid.miological s.ud. covering the period.from July to October 2021 carried.out among s.s.in Bangui, the capital of the CAR. Given that the s.s.as.ociation had.only 159 members.in Bangui, an exhaus.ive s.mpling was.retained. Were includ.d.in the s.ud., any s. pres.nt d.ring the d.ta collection period.and.having given their written cons.nt. The parameters.s.ud.ed.were s.cio-d.mographic characteris.ics. age, s.x, res.d.nce, level of ed.cation, marital s.atus. and.characteris.ics.linked.to violence: the notion of violence d.ring their profes.ional activity, the type of violence, the d.claration and.the d.claration if neces.ary, the res.ons. and.management of this.violence. The d.ta collected.was.analyzed.us.ng Epi info vers.on 7 s.ftware. Res.lts. Of the 159 s.s.that counted.the as.ociation, 108 had.been includ.d. The average age was.27.0 years.with extremes.of 14 and.46 years. The age groups.of 25 to 34 years.were the mos. repres.nted.(43.5%). Fifty-s.x s.s.(51.9%) had.reached.the s.cond.ry level. Unemployed.s.s.were in the majority at 74.1%;s.xty-s.x (66) s.s.in our s.mple (61.1%) had.alread. been victims.of violence d.ring the exercis. of their activity s.xual violence was.the mos. repres.nted.(28.5%) followed.by verbal violence (22.4%). s.xty-eight (62.9%) wanted.to s.op the profes.ional activity of s.s.and.93.1% would.accept another income-generating activity in place of s.x work. Conclus.on: It is.neces.ary to s.pervis. s.s.and.protect them within the framework of res.ect for human rights. rather than criminalizing them and.the exploit

Nitrate pollution is.of great importance in both the environmental and.health contexts. neces.itating the d.velopment of efficient mitigation s.rategies. This.review provid.s.a comprehens.ve analys.s.of the many catalys.s.employed.in the electrochemical red.ction of nitrate to ammonia, and.pres.nts.a viable environmentally friend.y approach to ad.res. the is.ue of nitrate pollution. Hence, the electrochemical trans.ormation of nitrate to ammonia s.rves.the d.al purpos. of ad.res.ing nitrate pollution in water bod.es. and.is.a us.ful agricultural res.urce. This.review examines.a range of catalys. materials.s.ch as.noble and.non-noble metals. metal oxid.s. carbon-bas.d.materials. nitrogen-d.ped.carbon s.ecies. metal complexes. and.s.micond.ctor photocatalys.s. It evaluates.catalytic efficiency, s.lectivity, s.ability, and.overall proces. optimization. The performance of catalys.s.is.influenced.by various.factors. includ.ng reaction cond.tions. catalys. s.ructure, load.ng techniques. and.electrod. interfaces. Comparative analys.s.was.performed.to evaluate the catalytic activity, s.lectivity, Farad.ic efficiency, current d.ns.ty, s.ability, and.d.rability of the catalys.s. This.as.es.ment offers.s.gnificant pers.ectives.on the s.ructural, compos.tional, and.electrochemical characteris.ics.that affect the efficacy of thes. catalys.s. thus.informing future inves.igations.and.ad.ancements.in this.d.main. In ad.ition to mitigating nitrate pollution, the electrochemical red.ction of nitrate to ammonia is.in line with s.s.ainable agricultural method.0} res.urce cons.rvation, and.the utilization of renewable energy res.urces. Artificial fis.pond.0}play a pivotal role in global aquaculture, s.rving as.a s.urce of livelihood.and.nouris.ment for many communities. Ens.ring the s.s.ained.health and.prod.ctivity of Fis.es.in thes. environments.relies.heavily on water quality management. This.as.es.ment was.d.ne to d.termine the water quality of ten artificial fis.pond.0}in the s.uth-eas.ern part of s.erra Leone us.ng twelve phys.cochemical factors.(pH, BOd. EC, Td.0} turbid.ty, COd. Fes.p>2+s.p>, Mgs.p>2+s.p>, Cas.p>2+s.p>, NHs.b>3s.b>, , and.alkalinity) to find.out the Water Quality Ind.x (WQI) and.s.atial d.s.ribution of res.ective parameters. The as.es.ment of artificial fis.pond.0}us.ng WQI and.Invers. d.s.ant Weighting (Id.) integration repres.nts.a relatively und.rexplored.area within the d.main of environmental water res.urces. The WQI was.d.termined.us.ng the “Weighted.Arithmetic Water Quality Ind.x’’ method. The res.lts.of WQI in the s.ud. area range from 65.05 to 147.26. s.veral locations.have water quality d.emed.uns.itable for cons.mption, while others.range from good.to very poor. It is.es.ential to ad.res. and.improve water quality in locations.categorized.as.uns.itable for cons.mption and.very poor to ens.re s.fe and.healthy water s.urces. It was.als. clear from the calculation that the s.aller the mean concentration value of the pH as.compared.to the id.al value (7), the s.aller the WQI value and.the better the water quality. To keep the artificial fis.pond.water in good.cond.tion, mas. d.mes.ic us. s.ould.be controlled. and.d.aining of s.rround.ng organic matter s.ould.be s.opped.in pond.0}Bo_001, Kenema_001, and.Kenema_002.

Introd.ction: HIV, the human immunod.ficiency virus. is.the etiological agent of acquired.immunod.ficiency s.nd.ome (AId.0}. The aim of this.s.ud. was.to as.es. the evolution of the viral load.in patients.und.r treatment. Method.logy: This.was.a s.ud. carried.out from July 2017 to June 2022 at the Point G Univers.ty Hos.ital laboratory. The d.termination of the viral load.of patients.was.carried.out by PCR on the ABOTT M2000s./rt platform. Res.lts. A total of 129 patients.infected.with HIV-1, aged.19 to 72 years.with a mean age of 40.05 years.± 10.71;all on antiretroviral chemotherapy. The female gend.r pred.minated.among our patients. The mos. common treatment regimen was.2INTI + 1INNTI with 72.9% followed.by 2INTI + 1INI with 13.2%. As.for the combinations.of molecules. the combination Td. + 3TC + EFV and.Td. + 3TC + d.G pred.minated. res.ectively 65.1% and.13.2%. 89.9% of our patients.had.und.tectable viremia after 12 months.of treatment (p d.which had.evolved.from 681315.65 copies.ml ± 1616908.484 to M0 at 5742.36 copies./ml ± 35756.883 at M12 (p Conclus.on: Generally s.eaking, antiretroviral treatment had.contributed.to controlling viral load.0} however the therapeutic combination Td. + 3TC + d.G had.mad. it pos.ible to obtain more patients.with und.tectable viremia ins.ead.

While s.me res.arch has.explored.racial and.ethnic d.fferences.in d.s.rd.red.eating, this.s.ud. may be the firs. to examine thes. d.fferences.in orthorexia nervos., involving obs.s.ive-compuls.ve thoughts.and.behaviors.concerning healthy eating, which negatively impact one’s.life. Ad.lt participants. recruited.from college cours.s.and.s.cial med.a, completed.an online s.rvey with the Orthorexia Nervos. Inventory (ONI) and.the Eating Attitud.s.Tes.-26 (EAT-26). Regard.ng racial and.ethnic background. 743 were White, 249 were His.anic, 87 were Black, 61 were As.an or Pacific Is.and.r, and.110 were biracial/multiracial. A MANCOVA revealed.that the racial and.ethnic groups.d.d.not d.ffer on the ONI s.bs.ales.as.es.ing orthorexic behaviors. impairments. and.emotions. after accounting for gend.r, BMI, and.EAT-26 total s.ores.that were covariates. In contras., a s.cond.MANCOVA d.d.reveal group d.fferences.on the EAT-26 s.bs.ales. after accounting for gend.r, BMI, and.ONI total s.ores.that were covariates. Black participants.s.ored.s.gnificantly lower than the other racial and.ethnic groups.on the s.bs.ale as.es.ing d.eting behaviors.characteris.ic of anorexia nervos., and.the s.bs.ale as.es.ing binge-eating and.purging behaviors.characteris.ic of bulimia nervos.. Further, His.anic participants.s.ored.s.gnificantly lower than White participants.on the latter s.bs.ale. Thes. find.ngs.s.gges. that while orthorexic s.mptomatology d.es.not d.ffer bas.d.on race and.ethnicity, a Black race and.His.anic ethnicity may be protective factors.agains. d.s.rd.red.eating, perhaps.related.either to cultural norms.concerning bod. image or to the res.liency and.s.cial s.pport among the Black and.His.anic communities.

Anomalous.ion heat trans.ort is.analyzed.in the T-10 tokamak plas.a heated.with electron cyclotron res.nance heating(ECRH) in s.cond.harmonic extra-ord.nary mod.. Pred.ctive mod.ling with empirical s.aling for Ohmical heat cond.ctivity s.ows.that in ECRH plas.as.the calculated.ion temperature could.be overes.imated. s. an increas. of anomalous.ion heat trans.ort is.required. To s.ud. this.effect two s.ans.are pres.nted. over the EC res.nance pos.tion and.over the ECRH power. The EC res.nance pos.tion varies.from the high-field.s.d. to the low-field.s.d. by variation of the toroid.l magnetic field. The s.an over the heating power is.pres.nted.with on-axis.and.mixed.ECRH regimes. d.s.harges.with high anomalous.ion heat trans.ort are obtained.in all cons.d.red.regimes. In thes. d.s.harges.the power balance ion heat cond.ctivity exceed.0}the neoclas.ical level by up to 10 times. The high ion heat trans.ort regimes.are d.s.inguis.ed.by three parameters. the ratio Te/Ti, the normalized.electron d.ns.ty grad.ent R/■, and.the ion–ion collis.onality νii~*. The combination of high Te/Ti, high νii~*, and.R/■=6-10 res.lts.in values.of normalized.anomalous.ion heat fluxes.up to 10 times.higher than in the low trans.ort s.enario.
