How can China achieve phenomenal economic growth despite what is considered as "weak" institutions in market-based economies? Xu(2011) provides a framework to understand this puzzle. specifically, he suggests that China's institutional framework of Regionally Decentralized Authoritarian regime was likely responsible for the phenomenal economic growth despite what is considered "weak" institutions for market-based economies. While recent accounting research provides insights into the relationship between agency issues, and accounting and control systems in the China context, accounting researchers can use the institutional feature of RDAs to provide insights into the role of accounting and control systems in non-market-based settings.

The Asian rice gall midge（Orseolia oryzae WoodMason） is a serious pest of rice that causes huge loss in *** feeding inside the susceptible host,maggots secrete substances that facilitate the formation of a hollow tube-like structure called gall and prevent panicle *** present investigation was carried out to get an account of biochemical changes occurring in the rice plant upon gall midge *** profiling of host tissues from three rice varieties,namely,TN1,Kavya,and RP2068,exposed to gall midge biotype 1（GMB1）,was carried out using gas chromatography mass spectrometry（GC-Ms）.TN1 and GMB1 represented compatible interaction,while Kavya and GMB1 as well as RP2068 and GMB1 represented incompatible *** current study identified several metabolites that could be grouped as resistance,susceptibility,infestation,and host features based on their relative *** may be regarded as biomarkers for insect-plant interaction in general and rice-gall midge interaction in particular.

This study reports the influence of sintering mechanism and reinforcement materials on the formation of ultra-fine and nanograins in Al-TiB-Y nanohybrid composites. The mechanical properties of the composites and their corresponding micro and nanostructures are correlated. The experimental and characterization results revealed that despite the addition of TiB, the hard and brittle AlTi phase formation in the composites was suppressed and hence, their ductility was retained. It was found that yttrium content of 0.3 wt% was the optimum amount which created advantageous spark plasma sintering conditions, and the addition of 0.3 wt% promoted the formation of bi-modal size grains（ultra-fine and nano） along with micro grains, Ω and other nano precipitates, resulting in a significant enhancement in the composite properties. The formation of ultra-fine and nanograins may be attributed to the combined effect of melting and rapid solidification at necking zones due to Joule’s heating and thermomechanical fatigue. Among all the sintered composites, the highest hardness（137 HV）, ultimate tensile strength（UTs）(496 MPa), yield strength（Ys）(438 MPa) with 15.7% elongation were obtained in the sintered sample reinforced with 1.0 wt% TiBand 0.3 wt% yttrium.

Cluster analysis in spectroscopy presents some unique challenges due to the specific data characteristics in spectroscopy,namely,high dimensionality and small sample *** order to improve cluster analysis outcomes,feature selection can be used to remove redundant or irrelevant features and reduce the ***,for cluster analysis,this must be done in an unsupervised manner without the benefit of data *** paper presents a novel feature selection approach for cluster analysis,utilizing clusterability metrics to remove features that least contribute to a dataset’s tendency to *** versions are presented and evaluated:The Hopkins clusterability filter which utilizes the Hopkins test for spatial randomness and the Dip clusterability filter which utilizes the Dip test for *** new techniques,along with a range of existing filter and wrapper feature selection techniques were evaluated on eleven real-world spectroscopy datasets using internal and external clustering *** newly proposed Hopkins clusterability filter performed the best of the six filter techniques ***,it was observed that results varied greatly for different techniques depending on the specifics of the dataset and the number of features selected,with significant instability observed for most techniques at low numbers of *** was identified that the genetic algorithm wrapper technique avoided this instability,performed consistently across all datasets and resulted in better results on average than utilizing the all the features in the spectra.

A basic 7-level MLI topology is developed and the same is extended to the 9-level then further increased to *** developed structure minimizes the component’s count and size to draw out the system *** the various advantages of MLIs,efficiency and reliability play a major role since the usage of components is higher for getting a low Total Harmonics Distortion(THD)*** becomes a major challenge incorporated in boosting the efficiency without affecting the THD *** parametric observations are done and realized for the designed 9-level and 17-level MLI,being the Total standing Voltage(TsV),efficiency,cost function per level count,and power *** respective parameters are compared with several existing and modern circuits and found to be effective in their performance.A novel single-phase 17-level asymmetrical Multi-Level Inverter(MLI)topology is developed to reduce the number of overall *** developed topology generates 17-levels by using unequal DC *** developed MLI is proved under various tests con-ducted experimentally for the various loads like resistive,inductive,and combinational loads.A detailed comparison is done on several factors and represented graphically ***,the proposed design provides a less TsV value is 6 V_(dc),efficiency is 94.21%and cost factor per level CF/L value for both values ofαis 2.01 and 2.05 and devices count with a low THD value 41.4%with respectively.

The obesity pandemic is widely regarded as major health challenge for modern society. This multi-organ disorder is linked to the development of a number of prevalent diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular and liver diseases, including primary liver cancer (1). The hepatic manifestations of obesity are collectively called non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) (2). The increased prevalence of NAFLD parallels the global obesity pandemic and is predicted to be the largest cause of liver transplantations (1). The term NAFLD encompasses different disease states, ranging from simple steatosis (NAFL) to more severe forms of liver disease such as non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NAsH), with various degree of fibrosis (3). NAsH may progress to cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) (4). Although NAsH arising from fatty liver disease seems to be an underlying lesion for some HCC cases, the extent to which the presence or the severity of NAsH explains obesity-related HCC remains unclear (5). Moreover, HCC is increasingly diagnosed among obese individuals independent of NAsH and cirrhosis (6), suggesting that cirrhosis is not necessary for the development of HCC in obesity. However, the precise mechanisms that give rise to HCC in some NAsH patients and not in others remain largely unknown.

Distribution Pattern of Vascular Plant species of Mountains in Nepal and their Fate Against Global Warming

This study aims to find the altitudinal distribution pattern of vascular plant species reported from high mountain of Nepal(Manang) along the whole Himalayan elevation gradient, and evaluate their fate against climate change. Data was gathered from multiple sources, field investigations, literatures, and herbarium specimens. Altogether, 303 vascular plant species were reported from Manang. We used a published data to calculate distribution range of each species by interpolating between its upper and lower elevation limits. The relationship between elevation and species richness is elucidated by generalized linear model. The consequence of global warming upon Manang's vascular plant species was estimated based on projected temperature change for next century and adiabatic lapse rate along the elevation gradient of the Himalayas. The vascular plant species richness has a unimodel relationship with elevation along the whole elevation gradient of Nepal as well as in three biogeographical regions of Nepal. Vascular plants of Manang are found distributed from low land Terai to high alpine regions of Nepal and their elevation distribution range varies from 200 to 4700 m. Out of 303 vascular plants of Manang, only seven species might be affected if temperature increase by 1.5°C, whereas at least 70 species will be affected with 5°C temperature increased. However, the majority of species(233 species) have wider distribution range(> 1000 m) and more than 5°C temperature tolerance range, thus they are likely to be less affected from global warming by the end of 21 st century.
