We investigated the quantitative relationship between macrophyte community structure and hydromorphology in 648 rivers in the United Kingdom （UK）.Geographical information,geological features,channel morphology,flow pattern and degree of habitat modification were included to characterize the hydromorphology at each *** analysis,partial least squares projection to latent structures （PLs）, revealed a positive correlation between floristic （abundance and species richness） and hydromorphological variables （p＜0.005）.Depth of channel,substrate type and flow habitat type played significant roles on shaping the community structure of *** communities varied between the gradient of two main types of sites: type 1 was characterised by small-sized mountain rivers with variable flow regime whereas type 2 was characterised by large-sized lowland rivers with deeper and wider channel,and higher and more stable flows Dominant species differ between unimpacted and impacted rivers （defined in term of habitat modification and eutrophication）.seventeen macrophyte species were identified as indicators for different hydromorphological environments in *** these indicator species,submerged and emergent species were dominant over （＞40%） amphibious *** PLs model is sufficiently sensitive （cross validation:Q＞0.4,p＜0.05） to be used in the management of river macrophyte *** can predict the macrophyte communities from hydromorphological variables in rivers,and assess the ecological impacts into five classes based on the ordinal measure of *** impact of physical alteration on macrophyte communities can therefore be quantified from the *** implications of this work on monitoring river health are discussed.

＜正＞Nationwide monitoring of the aquatic environment was initiated in 1988 in Denmark as a mean to follow the outcome of the Action Plans for nutrient pollution of the aquatic *** Action Plans have been adopted by the Danish Parliament since 1985 and the nationwide monitoring program can be used to quantify the outcome as shown by reductions in nutrient discharges from both point and non-point ***,the empirical experience gathered from nearly 20 years of monitoring is assisting the development and calibration of models for simulation of nitrogen leaching,nitrogen removal in groundwater and surface waters and the establishment of a P-index all covering the entire land area of Denmark.

state of health(sOH)estimation of e-mobilities operated in real and dynamic conditions is essential and *** of existing estimations are based on a fixed constant current charging and discharging aging profiles,which overlooked the fact that the charging and discharging profiles are random and not complete in real *** work investigates the influence of feature engineering on the accuracy of different machine learning(ML)-based sOH estimations acting on different recharging sub-profiles where a realistic battery mission profile is *** features were extracted from the battery partial recharging profiles,considering different factors such as starting voltage values,charge amount,and charging sliding ***,features were selected based on a feature selection pipeline consisting of filtering and supervised ML-based subset *** linear regression(MLR),Gaussian process regression(GPR),and support vector regression(sVR)were applied to estimate sOH,and root mean square error(RMse)was used to evaluate and compare the estimation *** results showed that the feature selection pipeline can improve sOH estimation accuracy by 55.05%,2.57%,and 2.82%for MLR,GPR and sVR *** was demonstrated that the estimation based on partial charging profiles with lower starting voltage,large charge,and large sliding window size is more likely to achieve higher *** work hopes to give some insights into the supervised ML-based feature engineering acting on random partial recharges on sOH estimation performance and tries to fill the gap of effective sOH estimation between theoretical study and real dynamic application.

Investigating the development toxicity of perfuorinated iodine alkanes(PFIs)is critical,given their estrogenic effects through binding with estrogen receptors(eRs).In the present study,two PFIs,including dodecafuoro-1,6-diiodohexane(PFHx DI)and tridecafuorohexyl iodide(PFHx I),with binding preference to eRαand eRβ,respectively,were selected to evaluate their effects on proliferation and differentiation of the mouse embryonic stem cells(m esCs).The results revealed that,similar to e_(2),50μmol/L PFHx DI accelerated the cell proliferation of the m *** PFI stimulation at the exposure concentrations of 2–50μmol/L promoted the differentiation of the m esCs as characterized by the upregulation of differentiation-related biomarkers(i.e.,Otx2 and Dnmt3β)and downregulation of pluripotency genes(i.e.,Oct4,Nanog,sox2,Prdm14 and Rex1).Comparatively,PFHx DI exhibited higher induction effect on the differentiation of the m esCs than did PFHx *** tests on eR signaling indicated that both PFI compounds induced exposure concentration-dependent expressions of eR signaling-related biomarkers(i.e.,eRα,eRβand Caveolin-1)in the m esCs,and the downstream eR responsive genes(i.e.,c-fos,c-myc and c-jun)well responded to PFHx I *** role of eR in PFI-induced effects on the m esCs was further validated by the antagonistic experiments using an eR inhibitor(ICI).The findings demonstrated that PFIs triggered eR signaling,and perturbed the differentiation program of the m esCs,causing the potential health risk during early stage of development.

The all-wheel drive(AWD)hybrid system is a research focus on high-performance new energy vehicles that can meet the demands of dynamic performance and passing *** optimization of the power and economy of hybrid vehicles becomes an issue.A unique multi-mode coupling(MMC)AWD hybrid system is presented to realize the distributed and centralized driving of the front and rear axles to achieve vectored distribution and full utilization of the system power between the axles of *** on the parameters of the benchmarking model of a hybrid vehicle,the best model-predictive control-based energy management strategy is ***,the drive system model was built after the analysis of the MMC-AWD’s drive ***,three fundamental strategies were established to address power distribution adjustment and battery sOC maintenance when the sOC changed,which was followed by the design of a road driving force ***,the energy consumption rate in the average time domain was processed before designing the minimum fuel consumption controller based on the equivalent fuel consumption ***,the advantage of the MMC-AWD was confirmed by comparison with the dynamic performance and economy of the BYD song PLUs *** findings indicate that,in comparison to the comparative hybrid system at road adhesion coefficients of 0.8 and 0.6,the MMC-AWD’s capacity to accelerate increases by 5.26%and 7.92%,*** the road adhesion coefficient is 0.8,0.6,and 0.4,the maximum climbing ability increases by 14.22%,12.88%,and 4.55%,*** a result,the dynamic performance is greatly enhanced,and the fuel savings rate per 100 km of mileage reaches 12.06%,which is also very *** proposed control strategies for the new hybrid AWD vehicle can optimize the power and economy simultaneously.

Afforestation has an important role in biodiversity conservation and ecosystem function improvement.A meta-analysis was carried out in China,which has the largest plantation area globally,to quantify the effects of plantings on soil microbial *** results showed that the overall effect of afforestation on soil microbial diversity was positive across the *** forest algorithm suggested that soil carbon was the most important factor regulating microbial diversity and the positive response was only found with new plantings on low-carbon bare lands but not on high-carbon farmlands and *** addition,afforestation with broadleaved species increased microbial diversity,whereas planting with conifers had no effect on microbial *** study clarified the effects of plantings on soil microbial diversity,which has an important implication for establishing appropriate policies and practices to improve the multiple functionalities(e.g.,biodiversity conservation and climate change mitigation)during plantation establishment.

Molybdenum disulfide(Mos_(2)) films are widely deployed in industrial applications owing to their inherent interlayer slip characteristics, offering energy consumption savings and prolonged mechanical part performance. Nevertheless, their practical utility is limited by environmental constraints and the limitations of preparation techniques, which hinder the attainment of robust superlubricity(friction coefficient erein, through magnetron sputtering technology, we synthesize a core-shell-like nanocomposite composed of Mos_(2)nanosheets encapsulating B_(4)C. The core-shell-like structure enables the resulting films to preferentially grow crystalline Mos_(2), providing them with outstanding mechanical properties and efficient lubrication over a wide range of temperatures. Remarkably, such film achieves robust macroscale superlubricity and an ultralow wear rate(1.7 ×10^(-8)mm^(3)N-1m^(-1)) under high contact stress in a mild vacuum environment. This noteworthy outcome is primarily attributable to the self-segmentation of the macroscale contact interface during the friction process, involving:(1) a large amount of wear debris is embedded into the wear track to create extensive micro-sized asperities;(2) a nanolayer of amorphous carbon enriched with oxide nanoparticles is formed on the uppermost part of these asperities;(3) numerous incommensurate nanocontacts comprising nanoparticles and highly oriented Mos_(2)nanosheets are established, culminating in the achievement of robust superlubricity. Our pioneering design, coupled with the elucidation of the underlying superlubricity mechanism, holds significant promise for advancing the development of robust and high-performance lubricants.
