solar photovoltaic(PV)systems have gained importance as a promising renewable energy source in recent *** arrays are prone to variable irradiance levels under partial shading conditions due to non-uniform *** a result,there will be a decrease in the amount of power produced and hotspots will *** overcome these issues,it is essential to select an appropriate PV material and a suitable array *** obtain the maximum output power from a PV array under partial shading conditions,this paper suggests a novel triple-series–parallel ladder topology with monocrystalline PV *** short and wide,long and wide,short and narrow,long and narrow,middle and diagonal shading situations,a 6×6-sized array has been considered and compared with other existing configurations such as total cross-tied,bridge-link,honeycomb,series–parallel and series–parallel *** proposed configuration has an optimal number of cross ties to produce maximum *** has 4 cross ties fewer than a honeycomb,3 cross ties fewer than a bridge link,16 cross ties fewer than a total cross-tied and 7 cross ties fewer than series–parallel cross-tied *** proposed configuration has an improvement in power of 0.1%to 20%compared with other configurations under the considered shading scenarios.

Transport mechanism in chemically reactive hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic micro-organisms over a curved oscillatory surface

This paper examines the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and mass transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic microorganisms towards a curved oscillatory surface. The influence of magnetic fields is also inspected in terms of their physical characteristics. To depict the phenomena of transport, modified versions of both Fick's and Fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system, the flow problem is formulated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for momentum, concentration, microorganism field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the homotopy analysis method(HAm).The effects of significant flow parameters on the pressure and microorganism fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and temperature distributions are shown via graphs. Furthermore, the variations in skin friction, mass transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local motile number due to different involved parameters are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and temperature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volume fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the homogeneous reaction strength parameter and the radius of curvature parameter increase, and it increases with the schmidt number and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcomes show a favorable response of the motile number to advanced values of the Peclet number, the schmidt number, the microorganism difference parameter, and the bio-convective Lewis number.

Improvement of microstructure and mechanical Behavior of Gas Tungsten Arc Weldments of Alloy C-276 by Current Pulsing

superalloy C-276 is known to be prone to hot cracking during fusion welding by Gas Tungsten Arc method. microsegregation occurring during cooling of fusion zone with consequent appearance of topologically close-packed phases P and IX has been held responsible for the observed hot cracking. The present work investigated the possibility of suppressing the microsegregation in weldments by resorting to current pulse. Weldments were made by continuous current gas tungsten arc welding and pulsed current gas tungsten arc welding using ERNiCrmo-4 filler wire. The weld joints were studied with respect to microstructure, microsegregation, and mechanical properties. Optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy were employed to study the microstructure. Energy-Dispersive X-ray spectroscopy was carried out to evaluate the extent of microsegregation. Tensile testing was carried out to determine the strength and ductility. The results show that the joints fabricated with pulsed current gave rise to narrower welds with practically no heat affected zone, a refined microstructure in the fusion zone, reduced microsegregation, and superior combination of mechanical properties.

Gas Chromatography Analysis of Resin and Fatty Acids from Laboratory Generated Bleach Plant Effluents

Laboratory generated spent bleached liquor from the chlorination, caustic extraction stage of mixed wood kraft pulp processing has been analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively for various resin & fatty acids by using GC. A number of resin acids, saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, chloro fatty and resin acid have been detected and their concentrations are estimated. The results are compared with results on different agriculture residue/hardwood pulps, which were reported earlier. The concentrations of various compounds detected have also been compared with their reported LC50 values.

Interest in transactive energy frameworks(TEFs)is proliferating due to the modern smart grid *** paper proposes a TEF,which applies auction-theory,incorporates a system of agents,and facilitates a transactive energy market(TEm)through an ***,it also enables peer-to-peer(P2P)energy trading among the residential buildings in community microgrid for possible monetary *** this framework,there are three agents,namely,auctioneer,participants,and *** auctioneer is a managing agent modeled using auction theory to determine day-ahead internal market-clearing price and *** participants are autonomous and rational decision-makers;they aim to minimize their electricity bills through the demand response(DR)*** types of architectures,one with the third-party agent demonstrated using the mATLAB environment and the other with the virtual agent(without third-party)implemented using the blockchain environment are *** simulation results reflect significant monetary benefits to each market participant,improved community selfsufficiency,self-consumption,and reduced reliance on the utility grid.

Curcumin encapsulated dual cross linked sodium alginate/montmorillonite polymeric composite beads for controlled drug delivery

The aim of the present work is fabrication of dual cross linked sodium alginate(sA)/montmorillonite(mmT) microbeads as a potential drug vehicle for extended release of curcumin(CUR). The microbeads were prepared using in situ ion-exchange followed by simple ionotropic gelation technique. The developed beads were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), differential scanning calorimetry(DsC), thermogravimetric analysis(TGA), X-ray diffraction(X-RD) and scanning electron microscopy(sEm). The effect of mmT on encapsulation efficiency of CUR and intercalation kinetics was investigated. Dynamic swelling study and in vitro release study were investigated in simulated intestinal fluid(pH 7.4) and simulated gastric fluid(pH 1.2) at 37 ℃. Results suggested that both the swelling and in vitro release studies were influenced by the pH of test media, which might be suitable for intestinal drug delivery. The release mechanism was analyzed by fitting the release data into KorsmeyerPeppas equation.

Numerical simulation on Thermal Response of Laser-Irradiated Biological Tissues Embedded with Liquid metal Nanoparticles

Photothermal therapy is emerging as a very promising way for minimally invasive cancer *** enhance thermal energy deposition of laser in target malignant tissues,liquid metal nanoparticles(LmNPs)have been recently identified as completely unprecedented photothermal sensitizers due to their unique physicochemical properties and superior photothermal conversion rate under near-infrared(NIR)laser ***,there is currently a strong lack of understanding of the laser energy distribution and the transient temperature field within the biological tissues,which would seriously hinder the development of LmNPs assisted photothermal ***,this paper focused on the distinctive photothermal effect of LmNPs embedded in biological tissues under NIR laser *** mathematical model coupling the monte-Carlo photon transport model with Penne's bioheat transfer model has been *** studies have shown that LmNPs play an important role in enhancing the absorption of NIR laser,which contributes to local temperature rise and improves the temperature *** with the control case without LmNPs,the maximum temperature increases by nearly 1.0 time,the local temperature rise reaches 30℃ in 1.0 *** the diameter and concentration of LmNPs are 40 nm and 1012/mm3,the resulting temperature variation and distribution is best for the effective killing of tumors without damaging normal *** addition,the simulation results are meaningful for guiding the selection of laser irradiation time in conjunction with the cooling time,ensuring the controllable accuracy of *** the best of our knowledge,the present study is one of the first attempts to quantify the influence of transformable LmNPs on the temperature distributions inside the biological tissues,showing important academic significance for guiding LmNPs assisted photothermal treatment.

Delay-Dependent Exponential stability for Nonlinear Reaction-Diffusion Uncertain Cohen-Grossberg Neural Networks with Partially Known Transition Rates via Hardy-Poincaré Inequality

In this paper, stochastic global exponential stability criteria for delayed im- pulsive markovian jumping reaction-diffusion Cohen-Grossberg neural networks （CCNNs for short） are obtained by using a novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional approach, lin- ear matrix inequalities （LmIs for short） technique, Ito formula, Poincare inequality and Hardy-Poincare inequality, where the CGNNs involve uncertain parameters, partially un known markovian transition rates, and even nonlinear p-Laplace diffusion （p 〉 1）. It is worth mentioning that ellipsoid domains in Rm （m 〉 3） can be considered in numerical simulations for the first time owing to the synthetic applications of Poincare inequality and Hardy-Poincare inequality. moreover, the simulation numerical results show that even the corollaries of the obtained results are more feasible and effective than the main results of some recent related literatures in view of significant improvement in the mlowable upper bounds of delays.

Genotype×year interaction of pod and seed mass and stability of Pongamia pinnata families in a semi-arid region

sixteen pongamia families were evaluated in a field experiment for eight consecutive years in dryland conditions to identify stable,high-yielding *** trial was conducted in a randomized complete block design with three *** family,consisting of nine trees per replication,was planted at a spacing of3 m x 3 *** stability was analyzed using(1)Eberhart and Russel’s regression coefficient(β_i)and deviation from regression(s_d^2),(2)Wrike’s ecovalence(W_i);(3)shukla stability variance(σ_i^2);and(4)Piepho and Lotito’s stability index(L_i).Families were also analyzed for adaptability and stability using AmmI and GGE biplots graphical *** study revealed significant variances due to family and family x year interaction for pod and seed *** performed differently and ranked differently across *** performance of families was influenced by both genetic factor and environmental conditions in different *** families tested,TNmP20,Acc14,TNmP14 and Acc30 were high yielders for pods,and Acc14,Acc30,TNmP6,RAK19 and TNmP14 were high for seed *** to the Eberhart and Russell model,Acc30,TNmP14 and TNmP3 were stable across *** the graphical view of family x year interaction based on AmmI methods,TNmP3,TNmP4 and TNmP14 had greater stability with moderate seed yield,and Acc14 and Acc30 had moderate stability with high seed *** the other hand,GGE biplots revealed Acc14,Acc30 and TNmP14 as high yielders with moderate *** and GGE biplots were able to capture nonlinear parts of the family x year interaction that were not be captured by the Eberhart and Russel model while also identifying stable *** on different methodologies,Acc14,Acc30 and TNmP14 were identified as high yielding and stable families for promoting pongamia cultivation as a biofuel crop for semi-arid regions.
