Alzheimer’s disease is a prominent chronic neurodegenerative condition characterized by a gradual decline in memory leading to *** evidence suggests that Alzheimer’s disease is associated with accumulating various amyloid-βoligomers in the brain,influenced by complex genetic and environmental *** memory and cognitive deficits observed during the prodromal and mild cognitive impairment phases of Alzheimer’s disease are believed to primarily result from synaptic *** life,environmental factors can lead to enduring changes in gene expression and the emergence of brain *** changes,known as epigenetic modifications,also play a crucial role in regulating the formation of synapses and their adaptability in response to neuronal *** this context,we highlight recent advances in understanding the roles played by key components of the epigenetic machinery,specifically DNA methylation,histone modification,and microRNAs,in the development of Alzheimer’s disease,synaptic function,and activity-dependent synaptic ***,we explore various strategies,including enriched environments,exposure to non-invasive brain stimulation,and the use of pharmacological agents,aimed at improving synaptic function and enhancing long-term potentiation,a process integral to epigenetic ***,we deliberate on the development of effective epigenetic agents and safe therapeutic approaches for managing Alzheimer’s *** suggest that addressing Alzheimer’s disease may require distinct tailored epigenetic drugs targeting different disease stages or pathways rather than relying on a single drug.

This paper examines the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and mass transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic microorganisms towards a curved oscillatory surface. The influence of magnetic fields is also inspected in terms of their physical characteristics. To depict the phenomena of transport, modified versions of both Fick's and Fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system, the flow problem is formulated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for momentum, concentration, microorganism field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the homotopy analysis method(HAM).The effects of significant flow parameters on the pressure and microorganism fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and temperature distributions are shown via graphs. Furthermore, the variations in skin friction, mass transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local motile number due to different involved parameters are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and temperature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volume fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the homogeneous reaction strength parameter and the radius of curvature parameter increase, and it increases with the schmidt number and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcomes show a favorable response of the motile number to advanced values of the Peclet number, the schmidt number, the microorganism difference parameter, and the bio-convective Lewis number.

A heuristic technique is developed for a nonlinear magnetohydrodynamics （MHD） Jeffery-Hamel problem with the help of the feed-forward artificial neural net- work （ANN） optimized with the genetic algorithm （GA） and the sequential quadratic programming （sQP） method. The twodimensional （2D） MHD Jeffery-Hamel problem is transformed into a higher order boundary value problem （BVP） of ordinary differential equations （ODEs）. The mathematical model of the transformed BVP is formulated with the ANN in an unsupervised manner. The training of the weights of the ANN is carried out with the evolutionary calculation based on the GA hybridized with the sQP method for the rapid local convergence. The proposed scheme is evaluated on the variants of the Jeffery-Hamel flow by varying the Reynold number, the Hartmann number, and the an- gles of the walls. A large number of simulations are performed with an extensive analysis to validate the accuracy, convergence, and effectiveness of the scheme. The comparison of the standard numerical solution and the analytic solution establishes the correctness of the proposed designed methodologies.

The separate spin evolution quantum hydrodynamics(ssE-QHD)model is used to investigate the energy behavior for ion acoustic waves in degenerate quantum *** results show that the energy flow speed decreases with spin polarization *** is also shown that it decreases with the increasing rate up to a certain range of wave number and then it goes to zero *** is observed that Bohm potential suppresses the energy flow *** is also noticed that the energy flow speed deviates from the group velocity even in the absence of Bohm potential ***,the contribution of of Bohm poential effect in spin polarized plasma reduces the extent of deviation.

The dispersion relations of parallel propagating modes（Langmuir mode, right and left handed circular polarized waves） in the weak magnetic field limit ｜ω-k·v｜〉〉？ are considered for ultra-relativistic arbitrary degenerate electron plasma. The results are presented in terms of moments of Fermi-Dirac distribution. The increase in the electron equilibrium number density from negative large（weakly degenerate） to positive large（highly degenerate） values of μ/Te is observed（where μ is the electron chemical potential and Te is the electron thermal energy）. As a result, shifting of the cutoff points in all the real dispersion branches towards the higher values and increasing in the band gap between unmagnetized longitudinal and transverse modes in k-space are examined. Also, the suppression of the weak magnetic field effects in weakly magnetized right handed and left handed circular polarized waves and a decrease in the longitudinal and transverse screening effects are observed in the graphical patterns due to an increase in the equilibrium number density.

In paper (J. Comput. Appl. Math., 76 (1996), 137-146), a difference scheme for a class of nonlocal parabolic equations with natural boundary conditions was derived by the method of reduction of order and the unique solvability and second order convergence in L2-norm are proved. In this paper, we prove that the scheme is second order convergent in L∞ norm and then obtain fourth order accuracy approximation in L∞ norm by extrapolation method. At last, one numerical example is presented.

A selective, sensitive and precise assay based on solid phase extraction and liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry(LC–Ms/Ms) was developed for the simultaneous determination of amiloride(AMI) and hydrochlorothiazide(HCTz) in human plasma. sample clean-up with 250 μL of plasma was done on Phenomenex strata^(?)-X extraction cartridges using their labeled internal standards(AMI-15 N3 and HCTz-13 C,d2). Chromatography was performed on Hypersil Gold C18(50 mm×3.0 mm, 5 μm) column using acetonitrile with 4.0 m M ammonium formate(p H 4.0, adjusted with 0.1% formic acid)(80:20, v/v) as the mobile phase. Detection was carried out on a triple quadrupole API 5500 mass spectrometer utilizing an electrospray ionization interface and operating in the positive ionization mode for AMI and negative ionization mode for HCTz. Multiple reaction monitoring was used following the transitions at m/z 230.6/116.0, m/z233.6/116.0, m/z 296.0/204.9 and m/z 299.0/205.9 for AMI, AMI-15 N3, HCTz and HCTz-13 C,d2,respectively. Calibration curves were linear(r2≥0.9997) over the concentration range of 0.050–50.0 and0.50–500 ng/m L for AMI and HCTz, respectively, with acceptable accuracy and precision. The signal-to-noise ratio at the limit of quantitation was ≥14 for both the analytes. The mean recovery of AMI and HCTz from plasma was 89.0% and 98.7%, respectively. The Is-normalized matrix factors determined for matrix effect ranged from 0.971 to 1.024 for both the analytes. The validated LC–Ms/Ms method was successfully applied to a bioequivalence study using 5 mg AMI and 50 mg HCTz fixed dose tablet formulation in 18 healthy Indian volunteers with good reproducibility.
