sequence stratigraphic studies consider relative change in sea level(as regulated by eustasy,local tectonics and sediment supply)as the main builder of the stratigraphic *** has generally been considered as a consequence of the growth and decay of continental ice sheets that would explain large,rapid changes in sea level,even during periods of relative global climatic ***,such a mechanism has become increasingly difficult to envision during times of extreme global warmth such as the Turonian,when the equator-to-pole temperature gradient was very low and the presence of polar ice seems *** paper investigates the timing and extent of sea level falls during the late Cenomanian through Turonian,especially the largest of those events,sequence boundary KTu4,which occurred during the middle to late Turonian peak of the Cretaceous hot greenhouse *** conclude that the amplitude of the widespread third-order sea level fall in the middle Turonian that is centered at^91.8 Ma varies at different locations depending on the influence of dynamic topography on local tectonics and regional climatic *** volume variations seem unlikely as a mechanism for controlling sea level at this ***,this causal factor cannot be ruled out completely since Antarctic highlands(if they existed in the Late Cretaceous)could sequester enough water as ice to cause eustatic *** ascertain this requires detailed tomographic imaging of Antarctica,followed by geodynamic modeling,to determine whether high plateaus could have existed to accumulate ephemeral ice *** mechanisms for sea level change,such as transference between ground water(a small amplitude shorter time scale effect)and the ocean and entrainment and release of water from the mantle to the oceanic reservoir(a potentially large amplitude and longer time scale process),are intriguing and need to be explored further to prove their efficacy at third-order time scales.

The present article investigates the dual nature of the solution of the magneto- hydrodynamic （MHD） stagnation-point flow of a Prandtl fluid model towards a shrinking surface. The self-similar nonlinear ordinary differential equations are solved numerically by the shooting： method. It is found that the dual solutions of the flow exist for cer- tain values of tile velocity ratio parameter. The special case of the first branch solutions （the classical Newtonian fluid model） is compared with the present numerical results of stretching flow. The results are found to be in good agreement. It is also shown that the boundary layer thickness for the second solution is thicker than that for the first solution.

This article concerns the analysis of an unsteady stagnation point flow of Eyring–Powell nanofluid over a stretching *** influence of thermophoresis and Brownian motion is also considered in transport *** nonlinear ODE set is obtained from the governing nonlinear equations via suitable *** numerical experiments are performed using the Galerkin scheme.A tabular form comparison analysis of outcomes attained via the Galerkin approach and numerical scheme(RK-4)is available to show the credibility of the Galerkin *** numerical exploration is carried out for various governing parameters,namely,Brownian motion,steadiness,thermophoresis,stretching ratio,velocity slip,concentration slip,thermal slip,and fluid parameters,and Hartmann,Prandtl and schmidt *** velocity of fluid enhances with an increase in fluid and magnetic parameters for the case of opposing,but the behavior is reversed for assisting *** Brownian motion and thermophoresis parameters cause an increase in temperature for both cases(assisting and opposing).The Brownian motion parameter provides a drop-in concentration while an increase is noticed for the thermophoresis *** the outcomes and the behavior of emerging parameters are illustrated *** comparison analysis and graphical plots endorse the appropriateness of the Galerkin *** is concluded that said method could be extended to other problems of a complex nature.

Density functional theory based calculations have been carried out to study structural, electronic, and magnetic properties of Znl-xCoxO （x = 0, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75） in the zinc-blende phase, and the generalized gradient approximation proposed by Wu and Cohen has been used. Our calculated lattice constants decrease while the bulk moduli increase with the increase of Co2＋ concentration. The calculated spin polarized band structures show the metallic behavior of Co-doped ZnO for both the up and the down spin cases with various doping concentrations. Moreover, the electron population is found to shift from the Zn-O bond to the Co-O bond with the increase of Co2~ concentration. The total magnetic moment~ the interstitial magnetic moment, the valence and the conduction band edge spin splitting energies, and the exchange constants decrease, while the local magnetic moments of Zn, Co, O, the exchange spin splitting energies, and crystal field splitting energies increase with the increase of dopant concentration.

Poor adherence to prescribed medication regimens can undermine the effectiveness of *** study was conducted to determine the demographic profile of forensic psychiatric inpatients refusing medications and to identify the reasons for *** were collected through interviews using a questionnaire including Drug Attitude Inventory‑*** refusal was more common among Aboriginals(68%,n=34)than Caucasians(32%,n=16)and was highest among the patients 21–30 years of age(44%,n=22).Antisocial personality disorder and substance use disorder featured prominently among patients refusing *** main reasons for medication refusal were inconvenience(34%,n=17)followed by side effects(22%,n=11),ineffective medication(20%,n=10),illness‑related(16%,n=8),and no reasons(8%,n=6).Antipsychotic medications topped the list of the major classes of medications refused followed by Antidepressants and Mood stabilizers.

The wavelet approach is introduced to study the influence of the natural convection stagnation point flow of the Williamson fluid in the presence of thermophysical and Brownian motion effects. The thermal radiation effects are considered along a permeable stretching surface. The nonlinear problem is simulated numerically by using a novel algorithm based upon the Chebyshev wavelets. It is noticed that the velocity of the Williamson fluid increases for assisting flow cases while decreases for opposing flow cases when the unsteadiness and suction parameters increase, and the magnetic effect on the velocity increases for opposing flow cases while decreases for assisting flow cases. When the thermal radiation parameter, the Dufour number, and Williamson’s fluid parameter increase, the temperature increases for both assisting and opposing flow cases. Meanwhile, the temperature decreases when the Prandtl number increases. The concentration decreases when the soret parameter increases, while increases when the schmidt number increases. It is perceived that the assisting force decreases more than the opposing force. The findings endorse the credibility of the proposed algorithm, and could be extended to other nonlinear problems with complex nature.

Planetscope Nanosatellites Image Classification using Machine Learning

To adopt sustainable crop practices in changing climate, understandingthe climatic parameters and water requirements with vegetation is crucial on aspatiotemporal scale. The Planetscope (Ps) constellation of more than 130 nanosatellites from Planet Labs revolutionize the high-resolution vegetation assessment. Ps-derived Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) maps areone of the highest resolution data that can transform agricultural practices andmanagement on a large scale. High-resolution Ps nanosatellite data was utilizedin the current study to monitor agriculture’s spatiotemporal assessment for theAl-Qassim region, Kingdom of saudi Arabia (KsA). The time series of NDVIwas utilized to assess the vegetation pattern change in the study area. The currentstudy area has sparse vegetation, and exposed soil exhibits brightness due to lowsoil moisture, constraining NDVI. Therefore, a machine learning (ML) basedRandom Forest (RF) classification model was used to compare the vegetationextent and computational cost of NDVI. The RF model has been compared withNDVI in the current investigation. It is one of the most precise classificationmethods because it can model the complexity of input variables, handle outliers,treat noise effectively, and avoid overfitting. Multinomial Logistic Regression(MLR) was implemented to compare the performance of both NDVI and RFbased classification. RF model provided good accuracy (98%) for all vegetationclasses based on user accuracy, producer accuracy, and kappa coefficient.

Water received in rainfall is a crucial natural resource for agriculture,the hydrological cycle,and municipal *** changing rainfall pattern is an essential aspect of assessing the impact of climate change on water resources planning and *** change affected the entire world,specifically India’s fragile Himalayan mountain region,which has high significance due to being a climatic *** water coming from Himalayan rivers is essential for 1.4 billion people living *** studies either modeled temperature or rainfall for the Himalayan area;however,the combined influence of both in a long-term analysis was not performed utilizing Deep Learning(DL).The present investigation attempted to analyze the time series and correlation of temperature(1796–2013)and rainfall changes(1901–2015)over the Himalayan states in *** Climate Deep Long short-Term Memory(CDLsTM)model was developed and optimized to forecast all Himalayan states’temperature and rainfall ***’s Prophet(FB-Prophet)model was implemented to forecast and assess the performance of the developed CDLsTM *** performance of both models was assessed based on various performance metrics and shown significantly higher accuracies and low error rates.
